If you go during lunch, they have lunch sets that include a dish, vege rice or white rice and a soup for less than $50 HK. One down side for westerners is that everything is in Chinese and I'm not sure if they have an Eng or a picture menu. If you don't read Chinese and are alone, you can look for the dishes you want in traditional Chinese and bring the list there. It's worth it for an authentic experience!!

The location has a windowed kitchen for curious patrons, and the seating area features floor-to ceiling glass to look out onto the parkette between Tsuen Wan Plaza and Citywalk. Quite scenic, I imagine this location to be an excellent low-to-moderate spending dinner date location. We got there just as they were filling up for the first round of dinner, and were immediately intrigued but their multi-flavour xiaolongbao variety set on the very first page of the menu. We decided it wasn't worth the price to get such a risky/avant-garde item. The rest of the menu consists of all your other Shanghainese classics: xiaolongbao, dumplings, fried pancakes, buns, hand-made noodles, casserole soups, etc. In the end we ordered two noodle soups, one order of xiaolongbao (4 pieces), one order of potsticker dumplings (4 pieces), and some plain greens. The dim sum items were fresh and tasty, with traditional textures (thin skin for xiaolongbao and thicker for potstickers), and the noodles were definitely tasty and had the hand-made noodle taste to them. While everything tasted fine, it was obvious that the restaurant was a chain and a reliable choice if anything - nothing super exciting but nothing missing the mark. I was quite happy with my orders and the place deserves a solid 4 stars for reliability and taste, and even convenience of its chain's locations. The portions are typical of updates Hong Kong places - just enough to fill, no leftovers. If you're a big eater be sure to order some extra noodles. The service was very quick and we never had to wait except for the food to be prepared. There was some wait time for food to come out, but we were willing to wait if it meant freshly prepared food. Our teacups were kept filled throughout the night, which made the wait tolerable.

Be careful when eating because my dad bit into one and it sprayed juice all over his sweater! The pork chop was- big and moist. I can't believe the pork chop noodles was about $10 USD. When we got back to the US, my daughter said she was craving those noodles! I like that the minimum orders for the xiao long baos is four and the potstickers is three so you don't have to order too much. The restaurant was very clean and modern. A hidden gem!

There was enough soup for four, which magically disappeared from our table for two. We cleaned every plate, and not because the servings were anything short of generous. For one, I was happy they noticed us struggling while making a mess trying to shell the shrimp, bringing us a knife and fork (and extra wet-wipes). Interesting to me, this was the first time we each had two sets of chopsticks. Thankfully, the internet quickly taught us that one set was for serving ourselves from the community plates, and the other for eating. Don't use the eating pair for serving or the serving pair for eating -- it is bad form, especially with COVID being so huge here. The staff were consistently welcoming and courteous, making each visit pleasant and hassle-free. Menus were available both via QR code and in physical form, in both Chinese and English, complete with photos of every dish, making ordering incredibly easy. When you rip the soft, white buns in half, a lava of custard flows out, similar to how egg yolk would burst out of a punctured benedict.
