3.5 stars for food, add in the Thai grandma (Pi) taking care of us and you get the 4 stars. Yarowat styled Bangkok food with one option for a country style curry, which wasn't as spicy or sour as we wanted it to be.
The satay chicken was good, beef was almost a sun-dried style you get in Isaan food. The dipping sauce was heavy on the fish sauce and not the best we've had - luckily the chicken was nicely marinaded and didn't need any dipping.
The Som Tum salad was nicely balanced and had fresh and crunchy papaya. We asked for 3 chilis and it was hot and tasty! The Annex space is nice and comfy, a bit too much A/C, but I'm giving them an A for the larger table and ++ for the comfy chairs and no stools in sight!
Nice new neighbourhood spot for us and we believe Thai Good Food deserves a second visit. read more
