Hotel is located on the eastern side of HK Island and is about a 30 min MTR (subway) ride to central. Conveniently next to City Plaza mall where there is a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a modern feel and layout. The beds and pillows are comfy and the hotel has installed filtered water faucets in everyone room to go "green" and reduce water bottle consumption. My one gripe is the bathroom layout for standard rooms. Since the standard rooms are not large, the bathroom has an open layout. If traveling alone, this is not an issue. However, if traveling with a friend or a significant other, you can hear all the bathroom "sounds" from everywhere in the room. The one positive about the bathroom is the waterfall shower! Overall, great hotel with modern amenities in a great location at a decent price. Convenient to the mall and restaurants and MTR. Would definitely recommend if you want to get away from the crowds of central and save some money!

I would recommend paying a little extra to get a room with a view of the harbor which I think makes this Ibis an especially nice deal. The room is comfortable, not very large but that's common in big cities unless you want to pay a lot more. The staff was friendly and efficient, breakfast offered good coffee and a nice selection of food. The hotel is about 8 minutes walk to the central MTR station, which we also found convenient. Their free airport express minibus from Hk station to the hotel is also nice. We used it both ways, when we arrived and left, which was a big help. Another nice touch, as the water in Hong Kong is not drinkable, they have a free fountain in the lobby to refill your empty bottles. There is a Starbucks on the ground level (the lobby is on the 4th), which we did not use but seems quite popular. I definitely recommend this hotel and would go back.

Also, the hotel has a shuttle every 15 minutes from the airport that will take you to or from the airport. I believe the shuttle ends at 9 PM (or later) so be sure to time your flight accordingly. Staff can speak English and can also give recommendations of where to go. The room itself was spacious and had a great view of the city. The shower even has a retractable clothesline in case you want to hang dry your clothes. The best part of the hotel has to be the fact that it is a part of the outlet. There's a 7 11 and McDonalds about five minutes from the hotel lobby. The MTR station is also close by and easy to access. During the day you can shop or check out the restaurants. Although you do not get the actual city action of HK it is still a neat place to stay for a couple days if you're just passing through or not planning to do anything too wild. But if you want to go into the city, just take the MTR and you'll be set!

Overall, a nice, reasonably priced hotel near the airport and Ngong Ping 360 (I could even see Ngong Ping 360 from my room).

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour checked almost all of the boxes and the best part was we redeemed our stay using points. North Point is a nice and safe neighborhood. It might not be as convenient as staying in Causeway Bay (where my sister stayed) or on the Kowloon side, but it's less crowded. We still have 7-Eleven, restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. Two blocks from MTR. The ferry is downstairs. Starbucks and YiFang are on the ground level if you miss home. This 5 stars hotel has all of the amenities that you can expect. Our room on the 9th floor has a nice view of Victoria Harbor and Kowlooon. A small sitting area in the corner with a desk to do some work. Slippers, ropes, iron and iron boards, toiletries are all provided. They even have a fancy coffee/hot water machine. It took us a while to figure out how to use it but it's amazing. I need a cup of warm water first thing in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and I crashed each night from all the walking and activities. The room felt clean and housekeeping are great. Not on our list, but there is a pool on the top floor with the amazing view. Hong Kong is hot and humid even during early December, so an option to swim is nice. Even if you don't swim, it's still nice to sit by the pool and enjoy the view. Tip: You can store your luggage with concierge for free. That worked really well for us because we went to Malaysia for 3 days and came back to HK. I can't recommend this hotel enough and will likely stay here again in the future.

The Buffett includes lobster , abalone , etc . It is on special promotions as buy one get one free . The price cheaper at lunch time and almost double the price for dinner ( specular dinner ocean views ) . Weekdays are cheaper than Friday , Saturday & Sunday . The promotion will end in March 30,2026 but they will have a new promotion soon for different dates. The room was beautiful with many nice amenities. I like the night light under the night table so I can see when the light is off and nothing too bright to affect my sleep . Bathroom has a bathtub for jacuzzi and a standing shower next to it . The toilet and sink are modern designs with a classic touch . Very elegant . They gave us two coupons for free drinks at the lounge after we checked in . As you can see from the pictures, the only place to put them was by the seating area on the floor. There wasn't even a luggage rack. If you have more than 2 large suitcases, you're not going to have anywhere to walk. The bathroom was narrow and clean. The two beds are about twin size and only separated by a small nightstand. Sonic the person you're with snores, you better bring earplugs. The tv was a good size, maybe 36"? There were two USB adapters by the table & chairs. There weren't any outlets by the bed. Housekeeping was great. There were some days I told them they didn't need to turn down the room. Rooms could be updated. There is no bottled water; however, there are two 7/11 stores about a block away. I paid for the breakfast buffet. The buffet was just alright. I didn't think the selection was that great and the coffee wasn't to my liking. There are an abundance of restaurants, dessert places, specialty drink stores (boba, tea, etc..) that are within walking distance. I wish I knew this because I would've skipped paying for the bfast buffet; but it is convenient. The hotel is very walkable to all types of restaurants, stores, specialty drink places, lady market, the MTR, Nathan Rd (one of the main streets) and the gigantic Langham Shopping Mall on Argyle street (I believe). What I liked about the hotel is that it's 1-2 blocks from the busiest foot traffic but far enough to where you're not fighting people outside of the lobby and quiet enough. Some insights: * 7/11 stores: There's 1 about a block away & another one about 700ft. So you can get bottled water & anything else. Also, there are 2 pharmacies nearby as well. * Laundromat: Sunshine Laundry Convenience Store ( Shop 67 ) 陽光洗衣便利店 67分店 This is just 1.5 blocks away. This place was a lifesaver! There's only 3-4 W/D. You can use your octopus card or I think they take credit card as well. You can Google it but I think it's $40-$50 HKD. It automatically dispenses detergent as you wash. Great for general undergarments and dirty jeans, socks etc... * Luckin coffee: you really need to download the app or Alipay HK app. I think the drinks are discounted more if you use the apps. I couldn't do it bc you need a HK #. I was super bummed bc I love their coffee. There's a location on Nathan Rd and Argyle Rd. * ChaTraMue: this is just 3-4 blocks away. I wish I discovered this place earlier on. I got their coffee latte w/boba. It's one of their specialty drinks. It was SO GOOD! * Zoff: If you need glasses, this place has great frames. You can get your eyes checked and grams within 30mins-an hour! They're great. I didn't want to drag my suitcase through all the foot traffic so I ended up calling an Uber, which is very reasonable. Wi-Fi is as good as it gets. I've interacted with the staff at the front desk a couple of times, and they have been friendly and helpful each time. I have also run into the cleaning staff, and they're very kind. They also do their job so well and don't miss a single task! I came back to the room every night thinking maybe they'd forget to leave water bottles, or maybe they would forget to refill the shampoo dispenser. But nope, every detail was always done, and the floor was swept each day (I know this because my hair sheds everywhere, and it was always all over the floor -- I was excited to come back to the room at the end of each day with a bright hair-less floor). I very much appreciated the service. You could check out simply by dropping off your key card at the exit. You don't need to go to the lobby to do so. Lastly, the elevators may take a while because there are only two elevators to access the room floors, and there are 30+ floors. What's nice is there are great restaurants all around - with a Circle K and 7-ll close by - as well as a McDonalds to get that cup of morning coffee. Great distances to the MTR and to Nathan Rd where all the shops are. The staff is a mix but overall very friendly, helpful and will help wherever they can. My dad wanted to try the place where you pick your seafood and they cook it up for you - they provided all the info we needed - included what MTR and bus to take!! So easy breezy... And because there was so many of us - they were able to help us with restaurants and reservations. Oh the reason for the mix on staff is for some reason the girls that work the front desk at night seemed to care more about their phone than helping us and really could ONLY recommend "duck places" close by. SERIOUSLY? So I think it's more of who they had staffed that night. Also they change the sheets every other day - and for the days you don't want they will pick up and give you more water, toilet paper, etc. OH and if you book a family room - you get a personal Wifi for the week! LOVED it - it allowed our family to be in constant contact without using data. AND for the room with the double - they could "rent" it for $3HK a day... so worth it.. and you can ask for a charger as well. The only thing we didn't care for was that they had one bathroom with the ONE mirror in the bathroom. Then we found out you could "borrow" a makeup mirror. There's actually quite a few things you could "borrow" - like a diffuser, charger cables, adapters, umbrellas, etc. SO HELPFUL! AND they had these humidifiers in the room that made the room feel fresh. Also their air/heating system so easy to understand and set. The rooms aren't all cookie cutters. My sister had similar set up as mine but had 2 sinks and smaller shower - so it does vary a bit. I love how central they are and the rooms are kept clean and again staff is very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is large by Kowloon standards with a roomy shower. The room itself was very clean. The lobby is a bit small but very good customer service. There is no bar or restaurant although it is adjacent to a few. The hotel is a good value. My only complaint is that the room I stayed in is ready for an update, it just was a bit older in feel and furnishings. They furnish you with a free loaner cell phone and free on site wifi. I've stayed in other Kowloon hotels at this price and this one was better than others.
