That said, the essentials were solid. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, and the bathroom had strong water pressure with consistent hot water. Toiletries were from Elemis, which was a nice touch. The desk, however, was extremely small--so compact that it was difficult to sit comfortably and use it for any extended period. Daily housekeeping is available, though I chose not to use it. The TV offered a few international news channels, which I appreciated given the ongoing tensions involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran--it was helpful to stay informed. The hotel also offers breakfast, but we did not try it during this stay. Amenities are limited: the gym is quite small, and the pool was closed for maintenance at the time of our visit. Location: It's in Kwun Tong, kind of far from Central HK, take about 35-40min on the metro to get to Central. It's also a 7-8min walk to the closest metro station. There's very little to do around the hotel, so if you really want to be able to walk to entertainment, this is not the place for that. The rooms are not big but fully functional, everything is comfortable and clean. There's a very small but cute swimming pool on the 3rd floor. Also a small fitness center that has a few cardio machines, all really new and nice. Small TV for your entertainment needs while you workout. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor but we didn't try it at all. Overall, for the price it was a nice place to sleep, location could be better.

The pool and the gym both have views across the harbor to HK island. Glorious. The locker rooms include steam or sauna, a hot whirlpool and a cold plunge. Our room on the 9th floor has a nice view of Victoria Harbor and Kowlooon. A small sitting area in the corner with a desk to do some work. Slippers, ropes, iron and iron boards, toiletries are all provided. They even have a fancy coffee/hot water machine. It took us a while to figure out how to use it but it's amazing. I need a cup of warm water first thing in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and I crashed each night from all the walking and activities. The room felt clean and housekeeping are great. Not on our list, but there is a pool on the top floor with the amazing view. Hong Kong is hot and humid even during early December, so an option to swim is nice. Even if you don't swim, it's still nice to sit by the pool and enjoy the view. Tip: You can store your luggage with concierge for free. Chong Yip Street is a tiny L-shaped road off of Hung To Road and it takes two left turns after coming out of the official B6 Exit. (pro tip: take the exits to Millennium City instead, and take the overhead pedestrian bridge to get to Millennium City Phase II, then walk straight across the lobby and down the steps. That drops you onto Chong Yip Street. The hotel is along the street on your right, but be careful not to get run over by cars driving underneath Millennium City Phase III). 3. The hotel gym is a joke. There's couple of treadmills if you're into that, but the free weights is a couple of dumbbells that go up to 10 kg. I'm not kidding. 4. There's an iPad in the room. I think it's the model from five years ago, and the screen is cracked. I didn't want to even touch it, but I had to because they had propped it up against the wall in the way of the light switches. 5. Speaking of light switches, NONE OF THEM MADE ANY SENSE. I was there for a week and I *still* don't know what switches turn on what. You just randomly hit the switches until you get what you want. Now the good: 1. The view from the top floor is amazing. You can see the old airport runway all the way to Wan Chai and The Peak. 2. Free drinks in the fridge? 3. Everything's clean and orderly. 4. It's a bit hard to find where all the neighborhood food is just from walking, since you're on the industrial/warehouse/car shop side of Kwun Tong Road. Cross over to Ngau Tau Kok Road and head *east* from the MTR to find the closest concentration of shops and restaurants.

I also like how it's very close to a lot of areas, and only a few blocks from the subway. That being said, it happens to be on a street that isn't too noisy so it's a pretty good compromise. Rooms are very clean, and the hotel seems to be new. Staff was friendly as well. You get a better deal booking online. This will be my new spot when I stay in Hong Kong.
