The ramen was serviceable and the three pieces of calamari were okay. The amount of beef provided was modest and the broth had a nice spiciness.

Ajisen is a chain ramen shop, and this is probably one of the worse locations. Bowls of ramen are generously portioned but expensive. The noodles are soggy and the broth is meh, but I was somewhat satisfied by the small but very tender piece of beef brisket included.

I was stuck in the Hong Kong airport during a layover. I wanted some good, quick, food, and Ajisen Ramen hit the spot. It was quick and tasty. I got the roast pork ramen with a side of spring rolls. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious. The ramen was tasty and filling. Great spot. I didn't try it because it was so early in the morning, but they also sell Frozen Kirin Ichiban Foam to put on top of your beer. I can't wait to go back so I can try one...what a great idea!!

After being stuck at the Hong Kong airport since 2am. I can finally grab something to eat around 6:30am. The line to this small restaurant was pretty long. Once I got to the counter, I selected the meal number I had wanted. Which was number 4, the BBQ Pork Ramen, and it costed HK$90. I paid with US currency, which was $13 and received HK$2.30 as change. Once my order had been placed I went to find a seat, because the whole place is crowded! Luckily, I found a seat close to the restaurant and sat down until my order number (1880) was ringed. There's a tv monitor for finished orders and once I see my order number, I went and grab my tray of ramen and kim chi. The food was decent, nothing special. I did not expect too much from an airport vendor. I did liked how they put in effort to make the bowl look fantastic. And there were plenty of noodle in my bowl of ramen, which was very filling. If I ever get layovered in Hong Kong again, I would not mind coming back here. And maybe trying something different as well.

This place is A-OK. I ordered the hot & spicy beef ramen. I really liked the spice and noodles, I didn't really eat the beef, it had no flavor and did not seem like high quality beef. So basically I just had spicy noodles, but it was still good and the broth was delish. On the side I had a vegetable samosa type thing that was excellent. If i ever am in Hong Kong airport again, I would probably try another spot just because there are so many options. However, this place satisfied my ramen noodle craving for today.

One of the few good restaurants inside the Hong Kong Airport. Ate around noon and it was packed! Order at the register and self seat. They take credit card, but I dumped all my leftover cash and paid the rest with my credit card. I've had Ajisen back at home and I enjoyed this location a lot more. Pork Ramen w/ Spring Roll Combo - 88 HKD - Clean and porky broth. Tender chashu. Large portion and a ton of meat. The spring rolls were ok, crispy, but just a throw in snack. Pork Ribs w/ Miso Soup & Crab and Corn - 98 HKD - Tender pork, not overly sauced. Miso soup was good and not to salty. Crab and corn was disgusting, mayo and imitation crab with corn is gross! Asahi - 68 HKD - On tap.

I got the bbq rib ramen. It was enough for 2 people. Tasty Japanese noodle. Yummy potato croquette. The pork was fall off the bone and marinade very well. The skin on the gyoza was very thin. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

It was okay, I had better. Typical airport food, overpriced and not so good. It a chain noodle shop, not the best, I had better while in New York . Probably won't be coming back if I visit Hong Kong again.

The grilled eel was obviously the ones you can buy frozen from Japanese supermarkets. Only two small pieces, roughly 1/3 of an eel. We had to order another eel grill to finish up the rice. The rice was the only bright spot, chewy and hot, that warmed a traveler's heart. I like everything boxed. :) Egg roll with ungai inside was another meh. The eggs were lack of a taste. The service was slow and not attentive. My waiter waited next to my table staring while I was writing the tip. I ordered the wagyu beef rice plate didn't know what to really expect but I must say it was amazing. The beef was soft and flavorful all the vegetables went very well with it. The only thing that threw me off was a fruit cup that had a strange sauce inside of it didn't care too much for it. As for service well let's just say it's not the greatest nor was it the worse. We were brought to our table and it roughly took 20min for a waiter to come by to even ask if we wanted water/something to drink. And to make things worse they forgot to bring one of the entrees out we had to ask where it was cause they rarely came to check up on us. But other than that it was a nice environment and the food was delicious.

The braised meat and soup had very little gaminess and tasted clean and balanced. The meat was tender. One downside of the dish is that the fish is not only ultra-processed but has a very mushy texture. Overall, Ramen Souo Noodles with Braised Beef is still a good dish. Beef Fried Rice Noodles (亁炒牛河) are almost the national dish of Hong Kong, so the standards for making the dish are high. I was quite disappointed with their Beef Fried Rice Noodle. The dish wasn't necessarily bad. The noodles had the right texture, moisture, and taste. But everything else in the food was below average. The beef was of poor quality and tasteless. The spring onions, chives, and bean sprouts were too overcooked.

Started of with the French toast that comes with a slice of biter and side of syrup. Next was peanut butter toasted sandwich with condense milk and sprinkled with Milo. Peanut butter was good and tasted if they made it themselves and not a prepackaged one. Last of the dish that came was the Cha chaan Tang all time favorite. Fried chicken leg with a choice of French fries or salad, so i chose the fries. When the chicken arrived, I let it cool down a bit as you can literally feel the heat come from it. After letting the chicken rest a bit, I cut straight into the joint as this is the area that normally gets under cooked. Sure enough, my was definitely under cooked as you can see red meat still clinging onto the bone. So I had brought this to the attention of the wait staff that it was under cooked and showed here the part of the chicken leg that was under. Although I was already expecting them to re-fry the same chicken, but was I in for a surprise. The kitchen decided to fry the chicken leg to the point where the exterior turn to a dark golden brown and chewing the meat seemed it took for days before you could swallow it. To top it all off, they didn't even change the fries. HELLO! juice from undercooked chicken had gotten onto the fries. Obviously the kitchen staff needs to get re-educated as they forgot that salmonella and the effects it has on to ones body. I had brought this to the attention of what appears to be a manager level, but got a reply was more like they could care less. The kitchen guys were definitely taking a pist at the kitchen and if they don't see anything wrong with under cooked chicken an issue or their fault, then we have an issue to the public. Definitely would be coming back here for a looooong while, unless you want to test your immune system as who knows what elder could be done wrong

The chicken broth is thick, creamy and densely packed with flavor. You can easily tell it is prepared out of simmering the chicken essence for hours. I saw that there are often lineups, but I came after the lunch time rush ~2pm) and there was only 1-2 other tables and no wait. Inside was quite spacious with bar seating and table seating - I honestly didn't mind the bar because it was still roomy (even roomy enough to put my carry on below me haha). There was only ~3 options on their menu so I opted for their Signature Chicken Soup Broth Ramen ($148 HKD). I was honestly blown away by the foamy broth - lightweight but full of chicken flavour. Not salty at all and had such a clean and creamy taste. Noodles were cooked perfectly and tasted similar to thin ramen noodles. It came with 2 different cuts of chicken and both were so tender. I especially enjoyed the cut of the thigh. The fried burdock root had a nice chewy texture. It didn't get too soggy even sitting in the warm broth for a while. I'd say it could be just a tad more crispy because it was a little hard to bite though but the flavour was perfect. Honestly it is quite pricy for a bowl of noodles, but I would definitely revisit as it was that good. Definitely worth the trek out to try!

We were mostly occupied with playing Pokemon Go at the airport, so that kept us entertained until about lunch time. Our initial plan was to eat the peking duck restaurant next door, but lines were long and the menu seemed daunting ($$), so we decided to keep it simple. We ventured through the food court next door and found ramen to be the most appetizing menu there. The cashier was a bit short in tone and basically just took the order without asking for anything more. I got the miso veggie ramen with a choice of drink. However, cashier didn't give you a choice and just gave you a coke, lol. Like, I get I'm a tourist and all, but at least let me choose. The veggie assortment was pretty standard with carrots, bell peppers, bamboo and cabbage. Broth was a little salty for my preference, but better than expected. Decent meal, but I wouldn't say I'd come back again to this location. If it was a restaurant location instead of food court, I think I would feel differently about it.

Great Q to the ramen itself & the broth was tasty - even though I drowned it in chili oil. I ate it all & drank every drop of broth. The only spicy option here is the miso spicy charsiu ramen. The Miso spicy is VERY soy bean forward and pretty dang spicy. Also, unlike the shoyu charsiu, it only has pieces of meat.
