The dish was also served with a sauce and some kind of dry rub with black sesame, the latter i truly enjoyed. All the variation of cutlets i enjoyed. Because we already had a meal on the plane, fiance and I shared the ramen dish: Ajitama-Uma. It is described as "pork-flavoured shoyu soup with thick-cut flamed chashu". It was actually pretty good. Greyhound Cafe is a franchise originated from Thailand and now in Hong Kong. Food is Thai Fusion. So you will find quite an interesting menu but the flavour profile is mainly Thai. This has become one of my family favourite place for gathering and of course I ended up coming here when I am in town. Reservation highly recommended as the restaurant is small and you will have 90 minute window to enjoy your meal. We tried quite a few items with some hit and miss. Just be warned they uses fresh thai chili pepper to season quite a bit and if you cannot eat spicy, there are non spicy dish that you might enjoy more. Spaghetti Cha Cha Cha ($128) seems to be the crowd favourite. Chicken Satay was meh... and the raw vegetables skewers that came with it was fail. You must not miss dessert! Mango Sticky Rice and Pandan layer cake both really good! They also offers Afternoon Tea Set which is much better value than dinner a la carte.

The honey-glazed char siu was my favorite, beautifully caramelized on the outside with slightly charred edges, while the pork was tender and juicy. Definitely one of the dishes I'd order again. The har gow had plump shrimp inside thin, delicate wrappers, while the siu mai were generously filled and really satisfying. The xiao long bao had soft wrappers with that little burst of soup inside, and the bean curd skin rolls were silky and soaked up the savory sauce nicely. We also had the beef with silky scrambled egg and rice noodles, which was rich and comforting, with the soft egg almost becoming a sauce for the beef and noodles. The fried rice was darker and more intensely seasoned than the usual Cantonese fried rice, with bits of meat, egg and vegetables throughout. Even the stir-fried Chinese greens were done well, garlicky, fresh and still crisp. We ended with the pork buns, warm and fluffy inside with that sweet, crumbly golden crust on top. Service was attentive The restaurant is large and quite traditional, and it was packed during lunch with lots of local families. Today I went along since I had a TCM appointment nearby and absolutely loved the very spicy sesame -peanut-noodle soup. The soup was tasty, the noodles fresh and the thick minced peanut chunks gave it a wonderful chewy texture. So good. Liked the veggie buns and the warm sweet soy milk so much. I had to ask to get a vegetarian version of the soup and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't refuse. My colleagues liked their soup and noodle dishes with pork a lot. The interior is almost elegant and the staff is friendly and helpful and the menu is in English and Chinese. Will definitely be back.
