I've came here in the past for lunch and decided to give the dinner time a try.
The service was very good and the waitstaff was tentative and not to intrusive. Very helpful on suggesting items from the menu. Unfortunately the food was just par for the price you pay for.
We started of with the tonkatsu shrimp and oyster. Altough it was not printed on the menu, you may request this with the waitstaff. The oil used to fry the tonkatsu, could of been hotter as it was on the greasy side. This was accompanied with a miso soup and steamed japanese rice. The quality of the rice was definitely not of good quality. This was a buzz kill as steamed rice is normally one of the highlights in most Asian cuisines.
Secondly was the tempura soft shell crab, although most of the pieces where tasty, there was 2 pieces tasted like if was freezer burned.
Lastly was the Dragon Roll which was a large prawn tempura wrapped in rice and topped off with tobiko and seaweed on the sides pf the roll. taste was good and would recommend to order this. read more
