Service was prompt and friendly. Came for lunch and had the Edomae Premium tempura rice bowl. It comes with Congee eel tempura (anago in Japanese), shrimp tempura; seafood fritter, soft boiled egg, snow peas and seaweed. All this is on top of steamed Japanese rice and drizzles with a seasoned soy sauce. As it comes in a set, white miso soup and Japanese pickles comes in the tray set up as well. The staff he explained that after you have eaten halfway through, you should puncture the soft boiled egg and mix it with the rice. Will definitely be back for more soon.

The grilled eel was obviously the ones you can buy frozen from Japanese supermarkets. Only two small pieces, roughly 1/3 of an eel. We had to order another eel grill to finish up the rice. The rice was the only bright spot, chewy and hot, that warmed a traveler's heart. I like everything boxed. :) Egg roll with ungai inside was another meh. The eggs were lack of a taste. The service was slow and not attentive. My waiter waited next to my table staring while I was writing the tip. A lot pressures and I was too shy and coward to give a bad tip. ;( Won't come back again.

We were brought to our table and it roughly took 20min for a waiter to come by to even ask if we wanted water/something to drink. And to make things worse they forgot to bring one of the entrees out we had to ask where it was cause they rarely came to check up on us. The dish was also served with a sauce and some kind of dry rub with black sesame, the latter i truly enjoyed. All the variation of cutlets i enjoyed. Aside for the normal menu, they offer 2 types of Ramen that is exclusive to Tung Chung Branch. One is Tokyo Shoyu (soy sauce broth) and the other is Hakodate Shio (salt broth). Topping for both ramen appears to be the same aside from the broth flavors. The toppings consist of braised pork (chashu), bamboo shoots, spinach, fish cake with thick noodles. As of 09 SEP 2019, they do not have their liquor license yet and looking to it as a frozen Kirin Ichiban hoes really nice with a bowl of ramen. Very helpful on suggesting items from the menu. Unfortunately the food was just par for the price you pay for. We started of with the tonkatsu shrimp and oyster. Altough it was not printed on the menu, you may request this with the waitstaff. The oil used to fry the tonkatsu, could of been hotter as it was on the greasy side. This was accompanied with a miso soup and steamed japanese rice. The quality of the rice was definitely not of good quality. This was a buzz kill as steamed rice is normally one of the highlights in most Asian cuisines. Secondly was the tempura soft shell crab, although most of the pieces where tasty, there was 2 pieces tasted like if was freezer burned. Lastly was the Dragon Roll which was a large prawn tempura wrapped in rice and topped off with tobiko and seaweed on the sides pf the roll. taste was good and would recommend to order this.
