I liked the tea cookies (chocolate and matcha) the best... Breakfast: hot continental and much more, made to order eggs and noodle soup. I also enjoyed the rice rolls & dim sum. Yum yum! Room: On the smaller end and wasn't crazy about the watery lotion but I think it's the same brand used across all Courtyards... Would stay again in a heartbeat - esp for the breakfast!!

Pretty darn convenient if you don't like paying for the train or taxi. Pros - very close to the bus stop in which you take in AND out of the city to the airport - offers in-town shuttle service - pretty much sound proof next to the other rooms, but if someone is making a ruckus in the hall, you will hear it. - pretty decent space and even though it's an older building, needs some tlc, it's pretty nice/comfy Cons- no outlets where you need them. There is an outlet on one side of the bed so it's not handy for 2 people staying in one room. There is no outlet in the bathroom so you can't curl/straighten your hair in there. You could do your hair right outside the bathroom next to the only other mirror in the room :/ Speaking of bathroom, the toilet is helllllla loud when you flush. Do note this location is far from the MTR. There is a tram stop nearby though and you can ride for $2.50 HKD hehe.

Location is amazing if staying in HK side. Right above the MTR - Admiralty and Pacific Place…read more(mall). Filled with shops, high & low, food and easy access to convenience stores like 7/11 on the MTR level. Easy walk out to neighborhoods like Wan Chai for local eats, and strolled a little further to Central or CWB! Be sure to do booking/resy for restaurants - seems to be the way to go. The hotel itself is well maintained. The rooms are beautiful, even is it's a little dated in some areas (bathroom) but the views are amazing looking at the hills, trees and houses above. Love that they provide international plugs already, so no need to have your converters. Hospitality: staff are all friendly, warm and welcoming. They always greet their guests with a smile. Housekeeping team - top notch! I'm so glad we picked JW, over the Conrad (ugh don't ask, had the worse experience in Singapore)... since we are members of both rewards programs. I feel like the JW is more on brand as their top tier namesake. I'm happy to be a Marriott Bonvoy member and excited for more stays! Pro tip: with the Marriott Bonvoy, you get late check out, so if you decide on a late flight, you don't need to rush. Just ask Concierge to make a note of it.

One of its biggest perks is the direct access to the Admiralty MTR station right beneath the hotel, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Also below the hotel is a sleek, modern shopping mall packed with dining and retail options--though for my taste, it leaned a bit too polished and commercial. That said, just a short walk away is Bakehouse, an excellent spot for egg custard tarts and other baked treats. You'll also find several well-known roast goose restaurants in the area, which are absolutely worth seeking out. Inside, the hotel is clean, contemporary, and staffed by a genuinely attentive team. The lobby is stunning, with massive windows offering sweeping views of the city and harbor. Our room (2002) was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, a pillow menu, generous bathroom featuring both a tub and shower, and plenty of canned water on hand. Our corner room's wraparound windows provided panoramic views, and the blackout drapes--controlled remotely--did a great job blocking the early morning light. The outdoor pool and bar were open until 10 p.m., which our family appreciated after long, hot days exploring Hong Kong.

Our room is equipped with two twin beds, a desk and chair, a refrigerator, complimentary bottles of water, and basic toiletry. Do not expect this room to be as spacious at the Hiltons in other international cities because Hong Kong real estate is a luxury. There is less than a foot of space between the two beds. Although it is not ideal for most people, it worked for us because we have young children. The narrow space is less of a hazard for our younger daughter to fall in because she tends to move a lot in her sleep. We had a slight hiccup midway through our stay in which the water did not properly drain in the shower. They were quick and efficient in resolving the issue and even brought us extra complimentary bottles of water. They have breakfast in the hotel but we opted out and went venturing for more local options. There are plenty within a 15-minute walking radius. There are also two MTR stations nearby and we used both of them extensively during our stay.

I just checked out 4 hrs ago and am writing this while my memory of it is fresh. It may have been…read morethe jet-lag induced mental fog during my overnight stay but I found this property to be one of the best HGIs I have ever been a guest at. I know that is a strong statement but my travel habits put me in hotels about 75 nights per year and 90% of them are within the Hilton portfolio of brands. That does get me treated like a high-value target by the hotels generally but this review is based primarily on the hard product of the property itself and not recognition of my loyalty status. The HGI brand in the Hilton portfolio is really aimed at being a mid-level business class hotel with full service breakfast available. It is not the cheapest brand but it is far from the nicest either (Hampton Inn and Waldorf Astoria brands have those far ends of the spectrum locked up). So no one goes to a HGI and expects a doorman, a fairly impressive lobby space, or a finer dining restaurant on property. But that is what is found here. The Kowloon location, deep in the Mong Kok neighborhood, is also ideal if you want to stay in the thick of the HK hustle and bustle with plenty of interesting areas, food shops and local life happening all around you. Walking from the hotel is easy and interesting no matter what direction you set out in and about the only downside is that it is about a 10-15 min walk to the light rail station. I don't consider that to be a deal breaker. The staff are present at the entry doors during the day while watching over some expensive cars parked in the front. During my stay, there were 4 Porsches and a Bentley parked near the door. I've never run into that at an HGI before. The rooms are typical HGI (clean, comfortable, functional) if but a bit smaller than their US counterparts. But what is lost in size is made up for by this property being a high rise building with some nice views out over the neighborhood. What does get some kudos here is the excellent shower flow pressure and the nice shower drain and door design ensuring great drainage so you aren't standing in a pond and water does not escape and get all over the floor (ridiculous half-partition showers all over Europe, I'm looking straight at you!) Finally, my stay was overnight with a departure too early to check out their breakfast option. But I'm guessing it is great given that their on property restaurant is really more of an upscale Chinese restaurant and not the usual HGI cafe'. During my stay, there were advertisements for whole suckling pig, abalone and goose foot webs, and pig lung soup to name a few. Impressive and intriguing in a great foodie sort of way! Tourists fear not as there were several western guests in the property so I'm sure you can get a proper cheeseburger if that is needed. Typical HGI standards this place is not and I only have remarkable things to report after my short stay here. I'm back through HK in 4 days and I already know where I am going to choose to stay!
