This is such a fun place for dogs to stay when their owners are away from home. Compared to other boarding kennels, this one is amazing in terms of cleanliness. And I like the free poop bags :) Atmosphere: the place is so chic. I love the waiting area. The dogs are allowed to run wild and play with one another. Dogs regardless of size are allowed to socialize with one another. When I looked through the glass to view all the dogs each one looked so happy. It's like dropping your kids of at Doggy Summer Camp. When you pick up your dog they return home and sleep for days because they're exhausted from way too much running around. Biilie Joe slept for days after we picked him up. He's such a big dog but he plays just like the other little boys that stay at Uberdog. Staff: the staff are friendly and from the interaction you have with the staff you know they enjoy their job. And when I asked if I can take pics they told me I could snap as many as I wanted. Their openness to being photograph on an off that suggests that they proud of the facility and that this place always looks the same regardless of who is visit. :) Price: the cost for the stay is on the pricey side. I would have to say it's equivalent to paying for a hotel room. The down side is you get charged for the full day regardless of when you drop off your dog. It will run you $40 -$50 per night. Warning: Expect scratches on your dog because well dogs are dogs they play rough.

First time dog mom, energetic herding puppy, mid pandemic, limited staff that was poorly trained, etc. I almost pulled my dog from their program a few different times over the first few months. I felt that the young staff was not fit to be with my dog and what seemed like no "adult" supervision and they made comments about my dog not listening to them after one day of being there (obviously he wasn't going to listen well to someone he just met). I took him there for boarding one weekend and when I picked him up found that the staff had neglected to feed him lunch one of the days he was there. I also have a bad taste in my mouth from some of the interactions I've had with one of the managers there. HOWEVER, with all of that said, we continued to go and things have gotten much better. I continued to stick it out despite my hesitation because my dog loves going there. The facility is one of the best I've seen. It's very large with many different play areas for the dogs. They also have pools for the dogs and my pup loves water. My dog was also struggling with a few behavioral issues and we've been working with trainer TeeKay and seen huge improvements! There are always new events for the holidays and different parties going on which are fun for both dogs and parents. It's pretty pricy and I feel like they use any opportunity to charge you extra for things, but everything additional is optional. I do also love the staff during the week. The girl at the front desk is so sweet and the staff really seems to care for the dogs. From time to time we still have issues, like being charged for a full day of daycare when we were there for half, or recently the weekend staff removed my dogs collar and then lost it. But all in all I'm very happy that we have continued to go. Unfortunately I see a lot of negative reviews for the grooming but we can only speak (mostly) positively about the experience we've had at the daycare.

3rd Class In for a 3 Month Old Puppy... Wow Watch Out!…read more We started off at Canis, and it was truly awesome. Unfortunately, after a few sessions, the co-owner, Derrick, messaged me through their chat platform to say that our puppy had been making noise in her crate that day. This was a one-off situation -- she'd had some stomach issues in the days prior -- but he warned that if it happened two more times, she would be removed from the program. I understand it's their program and their rules, but his communication style was extremely direct -- almost as if he were speaking to a dog -- harsh and matter-of-fact. He told me that how I receive and perceive his messages is "on me." Talk about customer-oriented! If he ever took a class on people or management, he might learn that there's an old saying: perception is reality. I also had a few billing questions, and since texts weren't resolving the issue, I asked multiple times for him to call me, which he eventually did. From the start of that call, he was defensive and completely closed to any feedback about his communication style. I was honestly shocked at how the conversation unfolded and even asked if he was the owner or manager. Despite all this, I genuinely wanted to continue working with them. In short, they removed us from the program the very next day and promptly refunded our fees. My advice: don't offer him any feedback -- he doesn't take it well. It's a real shame, because the staff at Canis are wonderful, and the facility and programs themselves are truly impressive. We had been raving fans and recommended them to everyone, so this turned out to be a very disappointing experience.

I cannot express how glad we have been with our decision to bring our dog to CMDT. Bee and Derrick are wonderful. They make themselves available (within reason) for any questions or help with training. The classes are informative and have been instrumental in our dog's fantastic training progress. Our pup has always come home happy, healthy, and tired from a day of socialization and training when she goes to puppy daycare, and we love watching the livestream so we can see her having a blast. What I personally appreciate the most about CMDT, beyond the care and compassion of the trainers who undoubtedly love the dogs, is the method of training they provide. No harsh punishment necessary. The dogs learn through basic positive psychology and reward association. We do the homework between classes and have seen our dog become more well mannered, confident, and happy through good training. If she could leave a review I think she would say CMDT is her favorite spot, given how excited she is every time we pull up. Thank you to Bee, Derick, and the other trainers who have treated our sweet girl like their own precious pup!

She has picked up our dog, Rey, from Planet Bark, in the evening and dropped off at our home. She is just such a calming presence and my dogs just love her! For holidays, we have come home to find an adorable "themed" kerchief on them, which just brightens our day. She even left a bag of treats for Jake, recently, as he just turned 12. Emily also watched Jake when we went on a cruise, and he did not come home stressed or ill, like if he stays in a kennel. She sent daily videos and/or pictures of him and we felt so comfortable leaving our little man. I am that nervous dog Mom but Emily always makes me feel so much peace of mind. Most importantly, she is dependable, on time, and will always give us a heads up if she has something coming up, so that we can be prepared ahead of time. I can't say enough!!!
