Not a cheap restaurant for sure, but it's a stellar restaurant in terms of the quality of food, the service, and the ambience. Since they are open until 1:00am, very convenient. ÉMILE is located inside Hilton Vienna Plaza. I wanted to eat something light for dinner. So, I decided to give them a try. I had the bouillabaisse and a glass of wine. To be honest, it probably wasn't the best bouillabaisse (probably because there wasn't much seafood), BUT it was most fulfilling bouillabaisse I've ever had. Ambience is classy yet not uptight. Because it's a restaurant in a hotel, there were small children (very well behaved) and guests who were not dressed up (myself included). Unlike many restaurants where I dined recently, I thought ÉMILE was expensive but not overpriced. If you're looking for good food and great dining experience, ÉMILE won't disappoint you. I'm sure I will be back, if it's not on this trip, on the next trip for sure.

Frittatensuppe.

It is a nice restaurant with a very kind service. The food was good and the ambience very nice and quiet. The menu has typical Austrian dishes but you will find some international options.

Emile breakfast for one. 18 euro. (Slight vegetarian variation)

This place is amazing! It is located next to the Hilton lobby. There is wifi and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I didn't see one minute when the staff was not working to make the restaurant a little cleaner or more organized. I ordered the Emile Breakfast for one - an 18 euro charge. It came with everything in the picture + a choice of hot drink (I went with hot chocolate!). It was so much food I couldn't even finish it all. Being vegetarian, I asked them to change 2 of the orders (that had animal products), and they did so easily. It was all delicious! And for the price point for all that food, it's hard to beat. The service was wonderful. The waitress I had was Miriam. She was new, as her nametag said "trainee" underneath. But you would never know. She was very efficient and kind. She even double checked my plates to make sure there was no meat. Overall, definitely recommend! This place was great.

Great food, loved the people. Next time in Vienna I recommend. Wife and I both enjoyed the atmosphere.

The first day we had Wiener schnitzel and guinea fowl risotto paired with Grüner Veltliner; finished with Apfelstrudel and vanilla sauce.

The bartender and server were attentive, and happy to offer options. They also provided me several amazing beers to go, as I was about to hop on the train. I got the cheese stuffed sausage for food and it was really tasty, but felt a little strange just served with a side salad and some sliced bread and mustard. Then again, I'm not Austrian! Ultimately, really excellent dining experience highlighted by the amazing service and tasty beers.

Yelp Review 2023 # 37:…read more My first time here. I reserved a table but it turns out, I didn't have to reserve a table for 10:30am. But I didn't want to risk it. I arrived at 10:30am but the doors were locked and no signs of life. So, I walked around - it's a touristy shopping area. I came back close to 11am and got seated immediately. I was the first person there. I had my tastebuds set to have currywurst since I won't be going to Germany on this trip. Austria is Germany's neighbor so, why not? The lovely server/ bartender gave me the breakfast menu which of course didn't have currywurst. I politely asked her if it would be possible to have currywurst. She nicely told me she would ask the kitchen if they can make it happen. As I waited for an answer, I was looking at the breakfast menu for a plan B but I simply wasn't feeling breakfast food. She came back with great news! They can start the fryer for the fries but it would take a while which was fine. At least, I was in a warm place in the middle of winter! My currywurst hit the spot! It was hot, had the right flavors, and the fries were fresh, hot and crispy. If beer is your jam, this is the place to be. This is a bar after all!

We sat on their patio, which was lovely. And the service was great as well. Their breakfast menu has lots of options, probably something for everyone! My friend had their Viennese breakfast (soft boiled egg, butter, jam, honey, organic roll, and organic rye bread), and I had their salmon scrambled eggs (bread with cream cheese, salmon tataki, sea salt, truffle, and cress), which was different than I was expecting but delicious. We each had a couple of coffees and really enjoyed our leisurely breakfast at JOMA.

Everything carefully crafted and professionally presented! I had the juicy grilled kalamari with a garlic sauce (very appropriate) and a wok veggie salad. My partner had the Joma sandwich with sweet potato fries. I also had the lemongrass seafood soup, and I had it twice (yes re-ordered it on the same visit) because it was amazing. Ended the meal with a cup of ginger tea (real ginger pieces). All in all, great dining experience, lovely and relaxing ambience and obliging staff. Five stars.
