    Lamb, highly recommend
    Yuko H.

I had a very good dinner here while in town. I made a reservation online but they weren't too busy at all when I arrived. I guess I arrived too early for dinner time for locals but I was hungry after not eating lunch earlier. Decor inside is very clean. Most tables inside was hightop but they have standard height tables available on their patio. I wanted to drink local wine and server recommended a certain kind after I explain my wine preference. I liked it very much that I kept trying different Austrian wine for the remainder of my stay in Austria. Try their butter with bread. They serve with three different butter and my favorite was truffle. Rich aroma of truffle was so perfect, I don't normally eat that much butter and bread but I ended up eating all served. They have a prix fixe available at a reasonable cost. Since I really wanted to eat lamb, I just ordered the main dish only. Portion size was perfect. Not too big or too small. Oh the lamb was cooked perfectly, really enjoyed my dinner here. Staff speak excellent English and close to many touristy places.

    Breadboard with compound butter

A very nice experience close to the Vienna Marriot. The interior is elegant and the service exceptional. The menu is not large but everything on it is done well. My favorite part of the meal was the breadboard and two compound butters. Simple but delicious. I had the crispy piglet. It was decent and I had no trouble finishing it. Perhaps it could have been a little more aggressively seasoned - But nonetheless it was good. Companions have ether Weinerschnitzel and the short ribs. Both were very good. The Weinerschnitzel came with what we thought was a lingonberry compote but the waitress called cranberry. No matter - it was a wonderful complement to the dish.

Seasonal pumpkin soup - very yummy!

We had a lovely visit to Paul on our first night in Vienna! The food was just delicious - and such a lovely, intimate environment. I would highly recommend for a quiet evening. I ordered the Wiener schnitzel - which was served with a very tasty Austrian potato dish, and the pumpkin soup (a seasonal item in the fall months). Both were delicious! We found the wait service to be very friendly and accommodating considering we do not speak German, and our waiter was very funny! The location is fairly close to the main downtown center of Vienna, so an easy walk if you are in the area.

One of the best meals I had in Vienna! The service/wait staff here is by far the best I experienced in a couple of weeks of vacation. The restaurant is well designed / decorated as well. The food was all pretty good. I had their special of the season which was an amazing pumpkin soup with prawns. For my main course a had a fall truffle risotto which is also a special for the season. It tasted great but the risotto should have cooked a little longer, it was slightly too al dente for my liking. For dessert I had an almond plum cake with a poppyseed icecream which was delicious as well! I would certainly return here if I visited Vienna once more.

Very nice place with tasty dishes. High class cafe/restaurant

Too expensive, food not that good. Wait time food is long. Messed up order. Ambiance ok.

Absolutely the very best Wiener schnitzel I've ever eaten. Service was impeccable. Wine by the glass was stunning. Too full for desert.

Menus and bread serving arrived. $4.80 per person. Oh well. We decided to share and we selected the white asparagus with a tomato and egg relish with a vinaigrette and an Order of Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and lingonberries. Our food arrived very quick. Both dishes quite good. Not the best we have experienced in Vienna and not the worst. - Wiener Schnitzel: best one of the week. It was thin as it should be and not greasy at all. Wish it had been cooked with a little seasoning. Salt and fresh lemon solved that problem. 4/5 - Potato Salad: excellent. Almost addictive. Loved the fresh mache and pumpkin seed oil on it. 5/5 - Cranberry Sauce: or as I call it lingonberry sauce. Average. Tasted like out of a jar. But good. 4/5 - White Asparagus: served with a tomato herb vinaigrette with chopped egg. Wish the asparagus had been served warm then topped with the vinaigrette. Would made the dish pop. Very good. 4/5 - Atmosphere: Outside was glorious. Area was spacious. 5/5 - Service: waiter was abrupt and would disappear for lengthy times. Must have been really busy inside. 3/5 - Value: somewhat overpriced. Think the mandatory $4.80 bread service per person put it over the top. I expected outstanding bread and got a very small serving of bread and a pad of butter with a couple of tablespoons of a herb mixture.
