We came here for our daughters going away dinner. I was not disappointed in anyway. The place is huge and has comfortable seating, indoor and outdoor and a big bar. Our waiter was on top of everything. To start we had the whipped eggplant and their amazing puffy bread, so good. The vodka pasta was so good and has a nice kick. The fusilli pesto with pistachios was also very good. My favorite was the blanco pizza with the hot honey was delicious. Drinks were also great!

My daughter raved about this place (and has been here twice before this visit) so I came in with high expectations. We are a foodie family. Service was a 3 out of 5 star. It was busy so I want to give the waitress some grace but service was definitely something that could be improved upon. We had made reservations for an outside table in advance and we were placed in an area inside that felt like an afterthought. The whipped stracchino appetizer was the best part of the entire meal besides the dessert. The fig and honey with the whipped cheese was delicious and went fast. The main entrees were a bit mixed for us. I had the Tagliatelle Tartufo with a side of steak. The truffle was plentiful and full of flavor however the side steak itself leaned a bit overcooked and tasted burnt. My daughter, who loves Cacio e Pepe, ordered it and felt it was good but not especially memorable. She added a side of grilled chicken, which she enjoyed. My other daughter ordered the watermelon mint spritz, which was refreshing and well-balanced, along with the Gemelli scampi. The shrimp were cooked nicely and the dish had a pleasant combination of flavors. We finished with a latte and chocolate torta, both of which were very enjoyable and a nice way to end the meal. Overall a 3.5 rating. Some dishes stood out more than others and the main courses and experience didn't meet our 5 star expectation's, we unfortunately left this special night a little disappointed.

My friend and I went to elephante over the weekend for an early dinner and enjoyed it very much! We started with cocktails and mine was the pretty yellow one, and it was strong with rum, but it was so pretty and tasty. My friend loved her Hugo spritz. We started off with dips and I got the eggplant dip which, if you didn't know, you can get two dips and split the bread for a cheaper price than two separate orders. We also got a Caesar salad which was super refreshing. I loved the amount of pepper and crunchy topping on it. We split the caccio Pepe which is an all time favorite of mine. I love how peppery and indulgent the pasta is. The noodles are super tasty. She also ordered a side of shrimp which she said was good. Our server was super personable and attentive the whole time, making sure I had enough water throughout. Elephante is my favorite classy place to go to when you want to treat yourself.

If you're trying to avoid the usual food court slump after a long shopping trip, this spot is a good pick. Despite being attached to a mall, it leans more coastal vibe. Service matches the price point. They are attentive without constantly bugging you. The restaurant is team Pepsi, which is tragic, if you're loyal to Coca-Cola like I am. That said, the full bar makes up for it. I went with an amaretto sour. The food itself delivers, even if it doesn't completely blow you away. I opted for the pizza, which came out on a thin fluffy crust. I was tempted by the pasta, but with limited meat options, it didn't go for it. Overall, the menu leans a bit pricey for what you get, but at least the quality holds up. Now, the one thing I'll recommend getting is the whipped eggplant. Creamy, flavorful, and easily the standout dish of the table. All in all, it's a solid choice when you want something that doesn't feel like "mall food" while still being conveniently located mid-shopping spree. ENJOY!!

Vodka Sauce Pasta

I've been wanting to try Élephante since it came to the valley and finally got a chance to during Valentine's Day weekend! The interior is gorgeous and this is very clearly a buzzing spot especially for the area. We did wait a few minutes but were promptly seated outdoors which luckily the weather was fine for, my only complaint is the very low table. For cocktails I ordered the 'Pinky Promise' ( Vodka, Espresso, Pink Almond Orgeat, Rose). So basically an espresso martini, which are my favorite. I loved the Valentine themed drink list and the taste was also exceptional. To start we ordered the Whipped Eggplant with Puccia and it was soooooooo delicious. The puccia was fresh out the oven and fluffy, and the whipped eggplant went beyond my expectations. For my entree, I ordered the Vodka Sauce Pasta and wow. This might have become my new favorite. Something about the sauce makes it stand out from your typical vodka sauce and made it that much more enjoyable. Our server was great despite it being a very busy night and I would definitely visit again.

Better vibes and extremely attentive service compared to the Santa Monica location. It's very spacious inside and you're not shouting to hear the people at your table! Smaller menu but the whipped eggplant is a classic that never disappoints. Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday early and they made him feel so special. * Whipped eggplant (9.8/10) - Soooo creamy and addictive. The pita it comes with is incredibly soft and they provide a generous amount of whipped eggplant so you're not left with a bunch of pita at the end! The only item I reordered from what I had in Santa Monica a few years ago. Boyfriend was skeptical initially but immediately understood after his first bite * Margherita pizza (9/10) - Loved the delicious housemade chili oil and dipping some slices into the leftover vodka sauce * Vodka pasta (9/10) - Really delicious and the perfect al dente texture, but a tad spicy for me! Would probably order a different pasta in the future since the pizza was also made of red sauce * Chocolate torta (4/10) - Too sweet and rich for our liking but a few small bites were sufficient. Would not order this if not complementary. Free parking in the mall lot.

My fiancé and I went here on a weekday night and it was very busy! Our waiter was very helpful in helping us decide what to order. All of our food was spectacular. I especially loved our ice cream dessert and let me tell you we definitely overate! I would come back I would recommend!

Incredible ambiance. Amazing customer service. The vodka pasta was pretty good but I'd like to definitely try other menu options next time. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant as I enjoyed my time there.

Really gorgeous place and the service was amazing but the food was a bit underwhelming. The cacio e pepe was good but I was expecting a bit more flavor. I'll def be back to try something else!

Beautiful looking restaurant. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Only went for a small meal. The salad was delicious and so was the broccolini. Got the puffy bread but without the dips...was amazing.

Been here a couple times for lunch and dinner and Elephante has not disappointed us so far! Service is always attentive, friendly, and they try to be as accommodating as much as possible. We've tried dishes that were too salty for our preferences and or just tasted okay, but we also found dishes that we absolutely loved. The notable dishes that we have loved so far are the lobster toast, ragu bianco, grilled white shrimp, and the Iberico pork. For dessert, our favorites are the pavlova and the pistachio sundae. The interior is quite spacious, and it can get loud during dinner hours with how busy they get but it still somehow feels intimate. If you're looking for a quieter time I would suggest coming during lunchtime. I would highly recommend making reservations regardless of time of day just to be safe. On one occasion, even with reservations, we had to wait about twenty minutes to be seated.

Branzino

We went here for my birthday dinner. It is a hip place with nice ambience, but FYI it is really loud in the restaurant and not the type of place you want to go to for an intimate dinner. Our server was nice and did a great job. The food/drinks were hit or miss and lacked consistency: - Elderflower spritz-good - Lavenda (espresso martini with lavender) - delicious, if you like lavender; quite unique - Whipped eggplant - probably the best thing that we had. Wish it was bigger. The bread was soft and delicious. - Hamachi carpaccio - it was good but the crispy capers were a bit weird and tasted burnt - Meatballs - good - Buratta and fig - nothing special, there were fresh and dried figs which was interesting - Cacio e pepe - have had better; ordered a side of grilled chicken to add protein - Fusilli pesto - our server recommended this but it was our least favorite dish. The arugula pesto was bitter but all too thick. - Branzino - it was ok, I didn't read the description and though it had pesto, too; but it was apparently salsa verde butter. Part of the fish had bones in it. - Gemelli scampi - the best entree dish; had a very mild sauce and the black ink pasta and shrimp were delish The desserts we had were weird. They offer 2 options for the complimentary birthday dessert - the chocolate torta and pavlova. We got the pavlova just to try something different - it is a white chocolate meringue with mousse inside, passion fruit sauce, and tres leches ice cream. The meringue was very eggy and the flavors just did not go well together. We didn't finish it. We also got the prickly pear and lychee sorbet. Don't get this if you are expecting lychee- there was no taste of lychee at all. It was an ok experience overall. Tried it once and probably won't go back since the food was so inconsistent.

When we arrived, it was a bit confusing, as there wasn't really any signage or staff who were willing to assist in directing us to the the place - the hostess at the elements restaurant was snippy and was just rude for no reason! The setup at jade bar was fine; sitting by the windows is your best bet to get a nicer view; however, there was a wedding that was taking place outside, so we couldn't access to have the option to do an al fresco experience. There was no hostess, and the waitstaff seemed to be limited; we didn't know this was just a 'walk-in and grab a seat at any table' type of a setup - We ordered: +the Truffle Tots - did not expect what this dish was; the romesco sauce was just not good +a California maki roll - the imitation crab meat had an off taste to them, and it wasn't tightly rolled so everything fell apart +and, the Chicken Wings - this was covered in some type of a sticky/hoisin type of a sauce; the chicken was NOT cooked through, and we thought we were going to get sick We ordered the Blueberry Dreams (prepared with buffalo trace bourbon, lillet rouge, blueberry lemon, honey, and ginger) and the Spicy Margarita (prepared with deleon blanco tequila, cucumber, jalapeno, and lime) - both were made very strong and were aesthetically pleasing. The seating area and the chairs could have been wiped down and cleaned better; we noticed stains on the furniture. We weren't checked-in often throughout our experience; we would have liked refills, ordered additional drinks, etc., but it wasn't hapepning. You can pop out through the doors at the back of elements for a better view of the mountains, if you wish. We're glad to try this place out, but not worth going out of your way for it. +underwhelming HH options +inattentive/rude staff +located at the Sanctuary

The hotel provides 10$ valet service which I was blown away by the cost because many other fancy locations charge a lot more in my area. We dropped off our vehicle then walked towards the beautiful door with the name of the restaurant illuminated. As we entered we were greeted by a beautiful wine display and a beautiful host check-in area. The place had lots of neon lights that complemented the stone and wood. We approached the bar and sat on some very comfortable barstools. The bathrooms were incredibly clean and had a very modern look. Everything was beautiful! We had the pleasure of meeting Caleb who was new to the restaurant and he gave us a rundown of the menu. He recommended a few items and was very patient with us because brunch is a ritual and can take a while to decide especially when everything looked so amazing on the menu. We finally decided on Eggs Benedict and as we were looking for other options Anthony who was extremely knowledgeable, judging by how well he knew the menu and talked about the items, was a veteran and very skilled. He went over the menu in detail and helped us narrow down our options and we chose the frittata. The eggs Benedict was a work of art and the flavors were beautiful. The eggs were perfectly poached and the sauce was better than any sauce I have had in a while. It was rich and creamy and had the perfect texture. The ciabatta that everything was on was perfectly toasted and had that beautiful char flavor. The spinach was fresh and green and still had a crunch to it. The frittata was perfectly made and was fluffy and had fresh arugula on top. It was very soft and not dry and had a perfect shape. The chef blended the flavors perfectly allowing you to taste every ingredient in it. No ingredient overpowered the other and everything was in perfect harmony to excite the taste buds. Anthony and Caleb came back to check on us and we tried their refreshing spritz that was highly recommended. While sipping on our spritz we spoke to Anthony and he gave us some fabulous ideas about where to go and things to do and we decided to go to the civic center and old town area that he recommended and it was amazing. We then asked Anthony and Caleb for a menu. We were full but the food was so good we wanted to try more and they recommended the calamari. The calamari practically made me cry. It was not oily like you get it at most restaurants and the breading was perfect it was light and fluffy and appeared to be floating like clouds on each other. It was not chewy but perfectly tender with the right amount of zesty that brought back memories of being in Sicily. We ordered some prosecco and enjoyed it as Caleb gave us some recommendations on other restaurants we should try while we were in town, which we added to our list. Calobe and Anthony were very helpful and a prime example of what makes a business prosper. Taking care of the people is not only serving food and making drinks. It is about connecting with them even beyond what the restaurant has to offer. We were so sad we were not able to go back for dinner but because of the amazing staff, we will be coming back to sexy roman again. Thank you, Chef, for your amazing food, and thank you Anthony and Caleb for your level of professionalism and the fantastic customer service!
