It was pretty good. I broke my diet to eat there. I didn't know they have keto crust. I will order again just to try it (chicken crust). I ran in just for a slice and drink. It took 20 minutes but the lady that came in 10-15 min after me, got hers before I did. If I ever get around to trying it, I will update. It comes in a 10 inch from what I could tell. Zzeeks is the best pizza anywhere you've had pizza. Maybe you can find some Woodford brick oven joint on some small back road in Naples Italy that might have a chance at a better pie but here it's ZZEEKS. But it's not just pizza. I've had a few of their subs now and the Meatball sub is phenomenal. The ambiance is this cool subway Brooklyn like feel and the service by the staff is great. So, decided to try this place because I saw an offer for wings on Sunday through a social media post for .70 each. I had seen this place prior through other outlets and it didn't honestly peak my interest because it came with many mixed reviews. So, was somewhat hesitant to try it; but was like "what the heck" as our "go to place" is closed on Sunday's. Super dissatisfied and should have known that was a HUGE indication from my phone call when placing our order. The staffer that answered my call had continuous problems taking my order & reiterating my order! She apologized many times stating " I don't know what's wrong with me today?" Apologizing numerous times that she was clearly having a hard time retaining the information. Placed for pick up (she assumed delivery w/ a fee) @ 5:15 PM on 7/12/20. What was ordered- 1 large salad ADD red onion w/ 2 Italian dressing 2 balsamic ( for 4 of 5) 24 wings 1/2 Angry Mustard 1/2 Honey Hot. Extra saucey, extra crispy. Blue cheese only. Large extreme pepperoni pizza ( extra sauce) *What we got- Salad ( no red onion) no salad dressings (no croutons) 24 small battered, soggy wings with 4 (large taco cup sized) blue cheese dressings and a large pizza that didn't seem to have extra sauce?! Pick up process- They butchered our last name! Wasn't even close to how it's spelled! LOL It was conveniently already bagged when my husband arrived. He wanted to go over our order because we wanted to insure everything was correct and he was told-"everything is in there"! Also, we questioned why it was so costly? N/A, but we figured that out after he got home and we unpacked our meal. The pizza looked impressive, but unfortunately it was over cooked, dry and bland. It's was over $30! Insanely expensive!! Our entire bill was $75.05!!WT??!! Remember those salad dressings we were suppose to get? The request for extra crispy, extra saucey wings? The onions that were suppose to be on the salad and the "extra sauce" on the pizza? They "up charged" us for ALL of that! In the phone conversation, the restaurant rep. never stated it was going to be an additional fee and even at that-we were paying for ALL these things we didn't get! I wouldn't be surprised if they added that delivery charge and a automatic gratuity fee too! Completely disappointed. During this economic crisis, we thought we were doing a good thing by supporting another local business and trying something new for our family. This was extremely and outrageously expensive. Damn!! The pizza here is SO GOOD! I have had pizza at several local places in the mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert area, but I've always been incredibly disappointed! I had the low carb cauliflower crust....the bottoms was nice and crisp. I work next door and I kept meaning to give Zeeks a try, but it took me awhile to get to it. Won't go back. 1star because of the slow service. Called in a sandwich order. It took twice as long as they said to complete order. I was the only only person waiting for an order, there's no inside seating, and it was still slow. 3 people spent more time standing around & talking, than making food orders. They were not helping the one person answer phones. Phones keep ringing with no one answering them. I had to call multiple times before someone answered. Sandwich was small & way overpriced. $9.99 for a skimpy cheesesteak. Tried it for the first time because of the yelp rating. There is no reason to order from here again. My husband and I are new to the state, so we're trying a bunch of different local pizza places. Zesty Zzeeks is close to our house. We ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza and Jamaican jerk dry-rub wings. The pizza was delicious (even the leftovers the next day!) and the wings were crispy and yummy as well. We really loved the generous portion of toppings on the pizza and appreciated the quality of the chicken (we've had a lot of rubbery chicken on pizzas). We'll definitely be back to try a different pie! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the celery/carrots that came with the wings. They were very dry and looked/tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time. This is definitely not a reason for us not to return because we loved our actual food :) read more

Their dry rubs and sauces are also amazing! My favorites dry rubs are the salt n' pepper and jamaican jerk. After seeing many good recommendations about Zeeks, i headed over on Sunday evening. 1/11/20 As a NY pizza lover, i ordered their 2 slices, coke and 10 wings medium for 12.00 Great price and .60 wings on sunday. They also have 20 oz drafts for 3.50 The pizza was ok but definitely not my type or taste as a long time lover of Venezias. Very tangy and sweet with no real air pockets or depth to the dough. This started as a 1* scathing review that was going to trash this restaurant's management based on my interaction with the male manager Jaime, who was rude, discourteous, and curt. However, there was another manager Ed who stepped up and turned my experience around 180 degrees. Allow me to explain... Last Tuesday Zzeeks partnered with East Valley Learning Center (EVLC) to do a fundraiser for the school. Our family has a child that attends EVLC and we like to help out when they do these fundraisers. I called in an order for carry-out, because the world is in a panic over COVID-19, and Zzeeks is allowing people to still do carry-out, since the dining-in experience is not available. Our order accrued to around $65, and we carefully tailored it so we could use our Entertainment book coupon for a free small cheese pizza when we ordered a 16" pizza. I thought this would be great! We get to use a coupon, raise money for EVLC, and try Zzeeks for the first time. We have seen and driven by Zzeeks a lot but hadn't made it in to try yet. Seemed like a win-win-win. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly face at the counter and she was happy to get my order ready for me. I showed her the coupon and told her I was there for the fundraiser too. She informed me I could only do one or the other. WHAT?!? I didn't understand. My patronage toward the restaurant for EVLC doesn't get me a discount on my food, why would it effect my coupon? This made no sense to me and I asked to speak to a manager. This is where I was greeted by a hostile, rude manager named Jaime. He said he was unwilling to honor both the coupon and allow my payment to go toward the fundraiser. He was impatient and unapologetic about the ordeal. I informed him that this was my first visit, and that I was going to let my scathing review be found on Yelp (They ask for people to share their experiences. There are flyers requesting reviews be posted.) I was honestly appalled with his response. Even discounted food, it was $55 with the coupon added on, is still money I'm spending in the store that should be applied to the fundraiser. Why wouldn't the discounted amount still be viable for the school. I begrudgingly paid and started to walk out. At this time another gentleman, who was also a parent of an EVLC child asked what was happening. I informed him and he said it sounded ridiculous too. He also asked to speak with a manager. This is where Ed comes in. Like a shining star or a beacon of light. Ed started to explain to us the rationale behind it. He listened to us, heard us, and said he would honor both. Well done Ed! Stepping up and doing the right thing. On my way home I received a call from Ed telling me they had forgotten to give me part of my order and that he had a new receipt for me showing the coupon and the fundraiser tag. I turned around, collected my missing items and new receipt, and tipped 20%. (I had stiffed them prior out of spite and pettiness) I thanked Ed again and took my food home to my hungry family. We were grateful for the experience overall and really enjoyed their food. Philly Cheese Steak Pizza, Mozzarella sticks, antipasto salad, and apple pie pizza. My experience with Zzeeks was totally saved by Ed, and I want to thank him for stepping up and doing the right thing. That kind of customer service created a loyal customer out of me, and I will be back to continue to support this establishment because of it. I will also continue to be a voice for Zzeeks based on the fact that they were accommodating and value their customers. Thanks again!! read more

So I paid for a to go order after waiting in line behind 1 person for 15 minutes. (Others in the back horsing around). Then my 15 minute order took 30 minutes. I paid with a debit card. Several days later while reconciling my checking, I noticed the charge was for significantly more. Of course no one knows what happened. I began email communications with the owner Jodi. She was upset that I would even fathom the idea that one of her employees would steal from me. She swears to this day that she doesn't even see the transaction. I have the receipt and the bank statement to prove otherwise After a few weeks and several attempts at gaining her attention, one more time, I gave up. If you dine here, pay in cash, or there's a chance that they'll do the same to you. They added a tip and thought I wouldn't notice! Update: This follow up as being written several hours after my original post, and after her feedback. She's so scatterbrained she doesn't even know what she's writing. I said nothing about a missing order I'm talking about money that was added to my credit card for a tip that I didn't give them. That's Theft. So here we are several days later. They have gluten free and cauliflower crust pizzas, calzones, some great wings with lots of flavors! Love this place and it's good it so tasty I recently learned of their crustless pizza bowls and was immediately hooked. I ordered delivery of three bowls. Delivery went smooth using their app. When I got my food 1 of the three was only filled halfway opposed to the other two which were full to the rim with yummy goodness. Disappointed that I was only given half of my food. I'm attaching two pics for comparison. The half eaten half full is the one I was talking about the full is the others. I stopped in today to the Ocotillo location where I had ordered another one and it was prepared correctly and it was full! When I shared my picture with them they were shocked too that it was half full. I asked if the could take care of my order that I had today to replace and they said they couldn't do anything and that I had to talk to the other store. I feel that's crappy considering it's Zesty Zeeks no matter which location I went to and was hoping for a pleasurable outcome but was told sorry you need to call the other store. No much on customer service in that regard. This also isn't the first time I've experienced and issue in customer service specifically at this ocotillo location. The first time I was introduced to Zeeks via a friend we did dine in and had asked for some extra ranch. They charged us for them. Then when a team member came to ask how things were we asked for one more ranch, the team member got it for us and when they learned that we were charged for the extras it was shrugged off as a oh well sorry about that they should've been free yet that didn't happen. At this location they had tiny 4 very very large booths that had enough seating for 10. The Menu was very large with lots of options but it was behind the order counter and kind of hard to see. Yes they do have 4 carb Keto and Cauliflower crusts and also crust less pizza bowls with topping. Our pizza was really very good. I would suggest that you get your Food delivered or picked up because the atmosphere wasn't great. A co-worker shared her bread bites with me one day so I decided to grab some on my way home tonight. I called ahead to place the order. I waited just a few minutes for them to be ready. Disgusting. They were stale, hard, some had seasoning, others not. Some were buttered. Others were not. I was livid and called to complain. The manager on duty said he would replace them. It may behoove this young staff to focus on their culinary craft when servicing guests, rather than talking in a group in the kitchen. Just a word of advice. Update: much better experience today. Being a single father an having not enough time to please my 8 year old daughter.. she wanted pizza.. she requested a peperoni pizza.. I ordered the 20inch pizza half hawaiian, half peperoni.. and 20 wings honey hot. I had got home an seen that they messed up my order again.. from previous times... they had fixed it in the past... so i had no issue at first.. but I had recieved a call from the deliverly driver saying whats ur apartment number, I had given him the correct apartment number... What a completely underwhelming experience here. I just left. After calling in from a nearby grocery store I was told my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. The cost would be $25 for one 16"" pizza with 2 toppings on one half. I'm thinking it must be pretty good. I'd been meaning to give the place a shot for a while. So I drive home to drop off bags and kill time, arrive here and ask about my order. A young lady is shuffling through tickets and it seems she can't find mine. OK. She goes to the back, which I can see from where I stand and she comes back empty handed. She then asks if I called in my order. I wanted to say "Yes. And I spoke with you" as she's the only female in the place. I simply say yes. She says it'll be a little while. I reply if you haven't already started my order don't worry about it. Where I get irritated is when this smug chubby guy from the back asks if I'm sure I called the right location since there have four on Warner Rd. I verity I did call the right place. Nothing. Sorta shrugs it off, the other folks just looking dumbfounded. No apology, no anything. Pretty much just got ignored from that point.
