The hostess was SO NICE (Thea?) and the rest of the staff was great too. My nail tech had a very runny nose, so we didn't talk too much, but she did a great job. (I felt so bad for her that she had to keep looking down while her nose was running!) The set up and decorations are very cute inside and the prices were great. Today I got the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Not only is what I originally wanted so far off from what I got, but my nails were not even manicured. I had to go to another nail salon immediately after. The manicurist at the new place asked me when the last time I got my nails done was because they were not filed and cuticles were not cut. She essentially started from scratch and was extremely surprised when I told her that I just " got a manicure before this". The manicurist at Zyng confirmed the picture I showed her was feasible, but barely tried color matching, and was hesitant to fix any of the mistakes she was making during the manicure. She did not ask if my nails looked okay because she knew the answer. I paid $45 for an experience which was getting the worst manicure I've gotten in my entire life. Even if the art itself was terrible this wouldn't have been so bad if the customer service wasn't so lacking. When I sat down, the manicurist at Zyng said today was extremely slow and that I could've come earlier, even though the receptionist had told me to come 40 minutes past the recommended time. I got a gel manicure and it looks amazing! I was able to call and get an appointment same day. It's a very clean space, it doesn't smell of excessive acetone, it's a really good vibe with nice decor and very polite staff. It is also very reasonably priced! I would definitely come back here again. Only reason I gave four starts is because I did get nipped during the cuticle care but they were very quick to get something on it and it didn't interfere with the service. read more

I have been here many times since they have opened and have learned you have to choose your technician when you make an appointment. The gentleman who runs the shop is very rough and this time the woman that did my services was also incredibly rough (cut my cuticles too low and they bled) and her work was very sloppy because she did my nails at a VERY rushed pace. The gel polish is super bumpy, inconsistent, and not even close to the edges of the nail. Not worth the money at all unfortunately and it's one of the more expensive manicures I've gotten. I got a gel manicure here on Friday January 7, 2017. The experience was good and they were very nice. BUT it is now February 2, 2017 which is not even a WEEK later and my gel manicure is CHIPPING! This is HORRIBLE. I paid $70 for a manicure and pedicure with no nail art. I get my nails done at La Bella nails on Naamons Road usually and my gel polish will last 2-3 weeks and a manicure and pedicure with nail art on ALL 10 fingers and toes is only $65-$70. This place wanted to charge $5 extra for only 2 nails of art!! VERY disappointed. Even though they give out gift cards to use when you come back when you pay cash I will NEVER return. In the middle of the manicure, the nail tech got tired and quit, refusing to do my mails in the color I picked. The explanation was that I took too long to pick a color. It did take some time for me to choose a color, because they were out of several colors that I picked from their nail selection books. I have had my nails done there once or twice a month for over 5 years. Just too strange. I will never go back because she left me with my nails looking awful, since she stripped to old nail polish off. Beware, they might quit on you in the middle of a manicure. read more

It was so uncomfortable, the nail techs were complaining that the owners had too many clients in at a time. Not caring for their healths or customer during this covid 19. I honestly wish I would of read the review prior to visiting this place. I paid $200 for 2 foot spa and the worst full set I ever seen. I could of probably done a better job myself and I never done acrylic. They charge 25 extra for gel that chips the very same day. The first day I broke 2 nails and the next day another 3. I was little skeptical with this place considering it was so cheap $30 for a full set and on top of that, it was marked as 20% off if you were a student. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was all the updated appliances but another major thing I noticed was how dirty it was. It look like they have cleaned in weeks. The good first: I loved the place and the service. I decided I would be their regular customer after the first(and only) visit. The bad or the horror: Their products are bad quality. The base they used on my nails was kind of a super glue that would make all nail paint removers fail. My nails starts chipping off. I'm so disappointed. I had to clip my nails to take the nail paint off. I'm never going there again. After I posted this review Zyng Nails got back to me regarding my post. They were very polite and sorry for what happened. I'm quiet impressed with their customer feedback support. Hope my nails get back to their normal texture soon. read more

I have been to this nail salon three times. First time going(full set gel) was good, Jen did somewhat of what I wanted and I even got a coupon for my next visit. Second time I went back for a refill only a few days later because Jen didn't set the ring finger right so I already needed a fill not even a week later. The girl I had for my second time was amazing!(cant remember her name) HOWEVER. Jen, who I had for my first visit decided intentionally came over the the seat I was at saying it wasn't her fault it was my nails...UHM NO... don't talk back to the customer and do not blame the customer for your mistake. Horrible. Third time only Jen was there, i thought i would give her a second shot but now my nails are now crooked and short! She did this on purpose. This place is awful, I went in for a full set of acrylic nails and at first it was a very nice place. My nail tech (Annie) took an hour to do just acrylic not color yet. About half way through she asked if I could wait 15 minutes so she could work on another customer. I said no politely and she was ok with that. When she was shaping my nails she cut me 4 TIMES and then didn't say sorry and acted like it was my fault when I was sitting their watching the tv very still. When she finished they asked me to move to another chair and had me wait 10 minutes for someone to do my color. By the time someone got to me my friend had been done for a long done and was waiting for me. When the color was done after 2 different people did the color on me the guy said that the reason my friend had to wait was because we used the same color. She was done long before me so that wasn't true. All 3 of the people I saw had an airpod in and were listening to music/talking on the phone. My nails are bumpy and not even throughout the nail. Ladies of Wilmington area. My neighbor recently turned me on to this new nail salon located in Greenville behind Cosi's. The first time I went I got a gel manicure. The owner gave me a $5 gift certificate for a pedicure when I was checking out. He said he hoped I would return. I did return tonight. I got a spa pedicure and a gel manicure which would've been $75 but was $70 with my gift certificate. I was thoroughly shocked to receive yet another gift certificate, this time for $15, thanking me for returning. It turns out they offer discounts regularly based on the cost of the services you have done (see picture). I highly recommend checking it out. I had a manicure on a whim because I was in the area for a meeting. I don't know who specifically did my nails, but it was a polite gentleman that spoke English very well. He did such a good job as he was detail oriented and very kind. I kept inspecting my nails and he kindly kept asking if they were okay. He also said it wouldn't be problem for him to fix it, if they weren't. They were perfect, nonetheless. I would highly suggest this place because the technicians appear to be very skilled and even non-annoying as they weren't shouting in Vietnamese, nor were they talking badly about their customers. Proper etiquette, adequate nail filing/painting (without streaking), and cuticle snipping without making me bleed are nearly impossible to find in nail salons these days. The last time I found a salon this good was in Chicago. I guess I'll just have to go out of state to get my nails done. 5 Stars because the service, quality, and atmosphere were amazing. I went here on a Sunday around 4:10. When I walked in a noticed most of the employees sitting around and very few customers. When I asked for a gel manicure all of the employees looked around at each other as if I had come in 10 minutes before closing or I was an extreme inconvenience to them. After sitting in the waiting room for 5 minutes they told me that they could not help me because they had "more customers waiting in the back that would take until closing". I felt extremely disrespected as I only saw 2 people getting pedicures and about 5 employees sitting around doing nothing, but looking at their phones. When people talk about hidden gem, this is what they are describing. This place doesn't look like much on the outside, but consistently the best pedicure I've ever gotten. They use dry ice, which I really don't think does anything, but the effect is cool. What I really love about it though is that you get three foot massages!! They pretty much do a foot massage every time they finish a process for both feet and that is why I love them. Plus they do quality work and it's not something that will chip off quickly. Great nail salon. I saw Eden for a gel mani, pedi and eyebrow waxing. She did a great job. She is very thorough. I had the basic pedi which is very thorough, I can't imagine what you get with a spa pedi. The manicure was great too. She took her time and cured the gel after two to three nails (I've read this prevents shrinkage). Eden did a great job on my eyebrows too. Took a lot of time tweezing to make sure they were perfect. The salon is clean and inviting. Eden is very friendly and gentle. I will be back. read more

If you are very meticulous, I would reconsider. Let's start w the positive : the place wAs very clean and modern. The tech was really nice. The massage machine on my legs for the pedicure was the best part of my appointment. Now for the negatives : it's been years since I've had my nails done and I decided to give a go again with a gel full set. I explained to the tech that I stopped getting them done because I have the hardest time finding someone that is thorough and consistent.... Meaning the nails are the same width filed the same on each side, same length, the square-ness is consistent, no extra remnants from filing..and the most important thing is they are thin and I am not walking around with chicklets on my fingers. Needless to say, this is what happened and I paid a decent amount for the appt. The appt was at best mediocre and I left feeling deflated after being so excited to get my spa on! If that wasn't enough, the tech told me my toes were dry so I proceeded to put my sneakers on. Well when I made it home, of course the polish is now full of ripples because it was not dry. Perhaps it could have been my timing; I was the last customer and he was talking to the other tech so rushing and distracted or maybe I should have asked for Eden - she seems to have rave reviews. At any rate, I don't normally rate the business unless I am completely for or against it. But I had to share this. #dreamtechwhereareyou Update: I called and expressed my concerns and they invited me in to have my toes and nails corrected. They were willing to speak to me and explain ...as much as they could. The owner's comment was "if your happy, we are happy ". So I was thankful for their post customer treatment. I want to preface this by saying I went to Zyng Nails shortly after they opened post quarantine. I live in PA and was getting married and NEEDED my nails done, so based off of reviews and location I picked Zyng. My sister and I started with a pedicure which was fine, nothing special. Then we both got a dip/powder manicure. I'm not sure if my nail tech was super familiar with this type of mani or not but it was not done as it normally is at my PA salon..the nail polish jars looked old and were almost empty. My nail tech kept struggling to get the last bit out. My sisters nail tech was the owner (I believe) and kept stopping her manicure to answer the phone. She got up to make appts about 7x during her manicure. She also kept picking at my sisters nail skin with her own fingers. I just did not get a very clean feeling from this salon. Also, the workers were dressed in tshirts and sweatpants.. not exactly a professional look. It wasn't super busy in the salon at the time either. To take the cake, my nails started chipping off 3 days after I got them done. This SHOULD NEVER happen with dip/powder. Normally my dips last up to 3-4 weeks without a single chip. This place saved my sister's 30th birthday! Her husband had called Kate's Spalon and thought he had scheduled an appointment for 7 people. I guess something was lost in translation and the appointment was never scheduled/confirmed so all 7 of us showed up and every chair was taken with three other people waiting. I immediately called Zyng Nails and they took all 7 of us at last mins notice! They worked us all in as quickly as possible with little to almost no waiting time and even sitting us next to each other so we could chat. Exceptional customer service!! They even went as far as providing a bottle of wine even going out to buy a bottle opener because they did not have one! They gave the birthday girl a gift card and took pictures/video to commemorate her birthday. I cannot thank the staff enough that were there on January 13th to save the day and make our experience memorable - plus our nails looked fabulous! :) .
