I ended up buying a 3D bunny you can DIY with paper for $20, the one i wanted (the dinosaur shown in my picture) was out of stock and unfortunately i could not buy the one on display either. I gave the woman at the front my name and phone number for in case they ever got it in-stock again for the future. I went to this store about 5 months ago and till now haven't received any calls so they must not carry that item anymore. One of my other favourites was the light up shadow box picture frames (also posted in my pictures). I would've bought one if i had a spot to put it at home just wasn't sure where to put it. I recently picked up a few things here and they were all neatly and meticulously wrapped up, placed in a nice little gift bag with some gift paper on top. Their products always change and it is never the same. I can't say so for the electronics because I don't usually browse in that section but for sure the knick knacks and little gifts change as I've went back often just to see what's new and different. Compared to William Sonoma for example, you'll find fancy items here for a little bit cheaper. But there are also things you can get from Amazon or in local stores much cheaper. I.e. they priced a potatoes ricer at $43 sale price, but you can get it for $35 online. If you find something you really want here, just take a second to check the prices if you don't already know it. Make sure you're getting a good price. Sometimes it's a good deal, other times it's not actually. Either way, I love stopping by here

How could I NOT go into this store!? Looks-wise it's just like the standard HomeGoods we're used to in the States... except its bigger and better. And really roomy. Sometimes these types of stores are so packed you can barely move around - not this location. Set in a lower level/basement like space it felt modern and comfortable. Walking in - I instantly wished I had brought an extra duffle bag. Between the aisles of pillows, the kitchen/dining section, and the picture frames - I was in heaven. Fortunately for Hubs they also have tons of furniture, so he was able to find a {super cute} chair up front to relax in while I wandered. B/c my luggage could not accommodate all that I had seen I settled on a really beautiful picture frame to commemorate our visit to Toronto. Check out was super easy - seeing as how they had several cashiers available. And my frame, after $$ conversion was only $7. Yay for HomeSense!

Could it be that larger sized stock doesn't move as quickly in the downtown core? Or were we just sublimely lucky? We were out with our purchases within minutes hauling them to our parking spot at the Eaton Centre. So people looked at us a little funny as we toted our furniture across Yonge street. I'm sure they have a pick-up area for this store, but sometimes big sis and I do things a little differently. It's just more fun that way.

It's in a plaza with parking. It was pretty busy. I ended up parking in front of Sleep Country Canada. I could have used a nap after a huge meal, but I went shopping. I like these combo stores because you can walk between them without any barriers. You don't have to go outside. It's nice, especially when there was light snow happening. I liked the Hello Kitty bedding. I don't have any. Same goes with a Hello Kitty pillow. It was so cute. The drinkware section was cool. There was a discussion between two customers and a HomeSense employee. The customer was looking at all YETI tumblers. They all had missing lids. It was weird. I saw an Umbra penguin liquid soap dispenser. I love Umbra. This dispenser seemed small, but it was cute and functional. It's a huge store. I saw mermaid tails. The linens section looked inviting. The lineup at the checkout was long, but it did move fairly quickly. I ended up grabbing a Keroppi Squishmallows plushie while in line. The price was great and the plushie is adorable. I had the nicest woman at the checkout. I was purchasing a small Kipling crossbody purse. She was squeezing the cheeks of the monkey attached to the purse. She was equally as enamoured as I was. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and all was great. She asked if I needed a bag. I declined. I grabbed my purchases and headed to my car as huge snowflakes were falling. Yesterday morning, I had a moment of panic when I realized my wallet was missing--the Louis Vuitton wallet my daughters gifted me for a special birthday. Inside were my credit cards, gift cards, and some birthday money I had just withdrawn. Needless to say, I was distraught and retracing my steps as quickly as I could. When I called HomeSense, a lovely lady in Customer Service answered and calmly asked for my name. To my shock and absolute relief, she told me my wallet had been found and kept safely for me! I can't express how emotional I felt--I was overwhelmed with tears and gratitude. On my way back to Vaughan Mills to pick it up, I learned that the HomeSense team had even reached out to my condo building to confirm they had my wallet, just to make sure I got the message. This one is located in Heartland Centre, which can get pretty hectic, depending on when you go. I went on a Sunday afternoon, which wasn't bad. I got a parking spot fairly close to the store. For a while, I have been looking for a funnel. I have a number of water bottles that have a narrow opening. I like to load hot tea and iced tea in these bottles that keep their temperature for many hours (12 hours for hot and 24 hours for cold beverages). One of the staff there asked me if I needed any help. He found them a few steps away from where I was. I was so close to the funnels! I thanked him for the help. I got three silicone, colourful funnels for $6. If you subscribe to the store's mailing list, you get even more discounts and exclusive offers. I love this store. It's clean and bright.
