We had dinner at Zuzzu for the first time last Tuesday. The owner was so nice and we had a delicious dinner. Atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. If you want a great meal with nice service, free parking and a place where you can hear each other talk, this is it. will definitely go back.

Zuzzu has GREAT PIZZA and PASTA. They also have a nice selection of wine. This is a small restaurant with limited seating. Be sure to make a RESERVATION.

Made reservation via OpenTable. Arrived and were told we were not "on the list." Showed the hostess the CONFIRMATION. Restaurant opened up a "no show" inquiry. WTH?

We went for the first time on a Saturday night and the place really filled up quickly. The restaurant is located just outside the buzz zone of Canton Road and you don't need to pay to park! :-) The lot next the restaurant is very small, but there is plenty of parking right across the street. First I will compliment the food and the service - both were very good. This was a nice surprise - when you walk in the place looks like a pizzeria in the midst of being upgraded. Not a negative, but not what we expected when you review the website. The place is pretty small and the tables are fairly close. Food was priced well; the dish we wanted to try (scallops) was out of stock. While I see the place has been around for a while, a few suggestions - Our table's top was totally busted. Not the usual put a wedge to fix a crooked table, but the table itself was broken. Our server apologized and we were immediately offered a seat at the bar. We didn't want to sit at the bar - we reserved a table - so we decided to stick it out. Apparently the table has been broken for a while too. Fix it, replace it, or get rid of it. Service was good, but food delivery was ridiculously fast. We ordered and had our appetizers in a couple minutes - that is good. Our entrees came out, no joke, a couple minutes later. Again our server apologized, but we each had just had a couple bites of the appetizers and now the table was covered in plates. First time for us, but if you order - order your appetizers and after you are almost finished or finished, order your entrees. This was not enjoyable and we felt rushed and the table was small (and broken). We consolidated plates to make room, but only the server was clearing tables. She was serving most of the place herself, but there were a couple other people walking around just talking to people. It is a small place with small tables - everyone should help and grab empty plates, bottles, glasses as they walk around. I had to ask someone to clear the stack of plates and empty bottle we had on the table for 15 minutes. Our server was just flat out working most of the tables on her own. Last thing is a pet peeve and annoying- credit card surcharge. Build it into your price - almost no one pays cash, so come on. Once I saw the odd numbers on the check I realized what it was and asked to confirm. It is 4% and I'm willing to pay, but nowhere on your menu, website or the check itself (that I could find) does it say there is a surcharge. To me, just an easy way to keep your credit card fee without having to say, for example, a bottle of beer is $6.75 or $7 instead of $6. Not a killer - food was good - but just annoying. We will try again, but reserve a different table and bring cash. :-)

Heard a lot of great things about this place. minimal parking but the food was worth it! i got to try the house salad with balsamic dressing. They tossed it really well because every single piece had dressing on it. Sour and sweet. the *Piccantina Pizza* was pretty good as well. very fresh ingredients and locally sourced if I'm not mistaken. baked quickly in their pizza oven in plain sight. Staff was great. we broke a plate but they acted like we we not a menace. kudos to yall. Thanks!

The Etna pizza is honestly the best pizza I have ever had. Their dough is unmatched, technically perfect. Never disappoints

We had planned to eat the pizza there, but when we walked in the place was a lot smaller and dingier than I expected. There was zero ambiance. They had more of a waiting area than a dining area, which was surprising to me. Luckily my friend lives nearby so we just took the pizza to go. While we were waiting, employees came and sat at the table next to us and were putting together pizza boxes. It's just weird, I don't get it. I would either make a legitimate dining area (one not used for side work and much nicer than what is currently in place) or get rid of the tables altogether. They're old and in the way. Turn some music on, clean up the interior. Also the outside of the place is a bit run down. Parking lines so ancient you can't see them- that kind of thing. The pizza was pretty good but not amazing and for $22.75 I need it to be amazing. I like supporting small businesses, but when I can get a better tasting and cheaper pizza at Dominos, that's unfortunately the route I have to go. Especially when the spot has no ambiance. Sadly I will not be back unless they someday reduce prices, add more items to their menu, and create a real dining space.

Hubby and I are early birds, so no surprise that we were the only ones there upon arrival around 4ish. We sat down and started to look over the menu. There was only one guy working and whether intentionally or not, he definitely gave off a vibe that felt like he was annoyed we had come in, which wasn't a great first impression. He never gave us napkins or utensils, so hubby got up and got some for us after the garlic bread we ordered as a starter arrived. The garlic bread was literally just toast with some garlic spread slathered on. It wasn't great, and we would not order it again. Aside from that, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and hubby got his weird Hawaiian concoction that I will never understand the appeal of. My pepperoni pizza was amazing. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni distribution were spot on, and the best part is that the bottom was perfectly crispy but not burned. Hubby's was good too, though he is less appreciative of the crisp factor than I am, though to be fair, he is not really much of a pizza fan to begin with and was just humoring my date night pick. After our pizza was brought to the table, other employees had started to arrive. Salty dude disappeared and a much nicer lady took over for him by bringing us drink refills and later closing out our tab. We will not be returning for date night, but the pizza was definitely good enough for a repeat visit. I will most likely just order as carryout during lunchtime instead, though. I wasn't really a fan of the vibe for dining in, particularly due to the salty guy who we seemed to annoy at the beginning, but I think the pizza was definitely worth coming back for.

The peach Bellini and espresso martini were made really well. The espresso martini had a perfect foam that was just the right thickness and they do not use an insane amount of Baileys, which was a plus for me. We got the margarita pizza add spicy, Italian sausage and the hot honey char pizza as well as the meatballs. Everything had wonderful flavoring, everything was cooked to perfection in the food came out at the perfect temperature. Everything was priced appropriately. For my half of the bill I had the hot honey jar, pizza, and the espresso martini. My total was like $29 or something like that. Our waitress was awesome! She was super relaxed, very helpful, and was great to have a small conversation with. The yurt was located on the restaurants patio, and was decorated for Christmas. There were lights and a wreath on the inside, as well as blankets in case it got chilly. There was a flap as the door that looked like it closed, but ever did because waiters were frequently entering. I thought that there would be multiple yurts, but we were the only one. From where I sat, I was in the direct line of vision of another guest outside of the yurt, eating on the patio, which was a little awkward. It was not as private as it seemed. We came for the 6pm time slot, and the guests who were there at 4pm were taking a while so we weren't sat until around 6:30pm. We got lucky with the weather and it wasn't cold, but I could see that being a point of concern very quickly. As previously mentioned, they do provide blankets. We started with the Charcuterie board, and it was exceptional. It says on the menu that it feeds two, but I think it could feed three if you're not starving. There was one cheese that was in a coating of what seemed to be nuts, and that was the star of the show. For the entree, I got the Cacio e Pepe with chicken. The pasta was creamy and very cheesy (!) and there was substantial amount of chicken. I got full about half way through, and took the rest to-go. Although there were some hiccups, this was an enjoyable, novelty dinner, and I would recommend.
