    Outdoors, patio

What a lovely restaurant! The indoor/outdoor and patio area is beautiful. Our service was friendly and quick. Great drink menu. The pasta was great. I appreciated how I felt good after eating; often after eating pasta I feel sick, but I felt good after which means the ingredients were of good quality.

We had a large group and we came for wine Wednesday. We were able to enjoy the lovely fall weather on the patio. I love our server- she was so attentive and took care of us! We ordered many bottles of wine and apps to share! All the wines we got was nice and even better at 50%! My favorite app is the burrata toast! But the Brussels, meatball sampler were all good. I got the Diavola pizza and love the firewood grill style with lovely chewy crust and just enough spice and cheese. Everything was fabulous! The parking is easy in the deck! Just make sure you pay and park on the second level- where the entrance to Grana is! I will be back for another wine Wednesday and happy hour!

Beautiful restaurant and great service. The food is your basic chain type Italian food.

    Fried mozzarella

We went on a fairly quiet Sunday evening with a reservation and were seated immediately on the rooftop patio. The patio is perfect for when the weather is more mild, but it is uncovered so likely not the best choice for a hot summer day. For an appetizer, we ordered the fried mozzarella ($15), which came quickly. This was good, not particularly a standout but consistent as far as fried mozzarella goes. My husband got the eggplant Parmesan ($18) and I got the paccheri genovese ($28), which is a pasta with short rib. It is not noted on the menu that the eggplant Parmesan does not include pasta, so I do think that should ideally be mentioned. For dessert we got the make your own cannoli, which is a fun idea and creates a memorable experience. We weren't blown away by the food but everything was consistently good, and I would love to return to try the meatballs and pizza next.

    Pizza: Figgy

We had such a great dinner at Grana! We started with the meatball flight and calamari, and both were awesome. The portions were perfect for sharing with our group of five, and every meatball had its own flavor and personality, all of them were so good. We ordered two pizzas, the Figgy and the Diavola. Both had amazing flavor, but the Figgy totally surprised me, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, and it ended up being my favorite of the night. For my entrée, I got the rigatoni, and honestly, it's one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had at a restaurant. Everything tasted super fresh and made with care. The only thing that stood out was how long it took for things to come out, it was pretty slow (over 50 minute wait) even though there weren't many tables (probably less than 5 tables seated), but once the food arrived, it was totally worth it. They do validate parking for up to two hours, you'll want to put in your parking once we get inside the restaurant, they'll have the code at the check in desk. The deck is super easy to get to and the restaurant is connected to it. Overall, the food was incredible, the vibe was relaxed, and I'll definitely be back to try more!

They have outdoor dining which seems to have a great atmosphere but it was way too hot to dine outside. We typically love bars but this one was dark and uninviting. No thank you. We sat to the left as you enter the front door. Missing atmosphere-- wouldn't choose to sit here again. Service was impeccable. I couldn't decide what I wanted for a glass of wine and they offered to bring me glasses to sample. I love this-- I saw them offer same service to another table close by. We split the Caesar and they were kind enough to diving between two bowls. The only other place that does this for us is Cibo e Beve. The focaccia was wonderful with large flakes of salt on top and went great with their olive oil. We are truly picky Caesar eaters and this one had freshly shaved Parmesan and obvious homemade croutons. Pasta was fabulous for both of us. Would we dine here again? Definitely not the bar and probably not the dining room, but would come back to dine outdoors. Carrie was our waitress and she was fantastic.

Small touches, like accommodating shared dishes and offering tasting samples before ordering, made the visit feel more personalized. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and everything arrived at a comfortable pace. The outdoor seating looked especially inviting and seems like the best place to enjoy the atmosphere. The indoor dining area, however, felt a bit lacking in character, and the bar wasn't as welcoming as expected. Even so, the quality of the food and service makes this a place I'd gladly visit again.

So I wanted to try something different. I've been in this area many times and I never stopped in…read morehere, really, will not for food. What does that have to give it a go. I was not mad at all! So coming here you're going to have to worry about parking but there's a lot right next door. I think it's like $10 to park but you can also find other lots and if you could find street parking, that'd be great. Remember this is a residential area outside of this little district so you got to be careful where you park at. This place is pretty cool because it has a large space for seating, a really large bar, and plenty of outdoor seats as well. The dining room area is very large and the bar is pretty big but the outside area to me takes the cake. They have chairs and loungers and a fire pit, I think. It's really clutch if it's a really nice day out. The last time I went outside at the bar and ordered a couple of bites. The bartender was super cool, polite, no issue with the service. Garlic knots - so these came and I wasn't actually expecting them but they were good. Here, the last time I was there I wasn't offering any garlic knots so I didn't know that they gave these as an appetizer bread. They came with a good sauce and they were very buttery and glazed with butter and cheese. They weren't as pull-apart tender as I would have liked but they still had a really good flavor to them. Calamari - I ordered the calamari as well. I've actually had it before and it was really good so I went back for it. It comes with a really good marinara sauce that has plenty of chunks of tomato in it. The calamari itself is very good and savory and it comes plentiful. You may not even necessarily eat the sauce because it's pretty seasoned. Cheese sticks - I guess I wouldn't call these cheese sticks because they're more like triangles lol but they are really good. Deep-fried cheese triangles, they didn't miss. It had the typical issues you have when you fry something but at the same time they were good and had a really good cheese pull. I would definitely order these again. They came only in three but they were very nice sized. Overall I had a good experience. Again this is not my first time going but I would actually go back and try food because honestly I've only tried appetizers. I haven't actually tried dinner lol but I've had a really good experience every time I've been.

My husband and I tried Ipps for a mid-day lunch during his lunch break. They weren't busy at all,…read moreso we expected the food and drinks to come out well, but unfortunately, they didn't. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was actually better from the trainee than from the woman who said she was training her. The food was just okay. My Grey Goose martini didn't taste like Grey Goose. It tasted like a different, cheaper vodka and went down very rough, even though Grey Goose is usually smooth. The drink was supposed to be sweet and fruity, but it didn't taste good at all. It had an odd, old taste to it. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was just okay and didn't really stand out. I've been to Italian restaurants where the pasta tasted extremely fresh and the sauce tasted homemade. I love Italian food, but this spot just wasn't it. My husband didn't like his food either and didn't eat it. He told the waitress who was training that the sauce was a bit overwhelming for the dish. She didn't seem concerned. She told him she was sorry he didn't like it and walked away. She didn't ask if he would like to try something else or offer any other solution. The waitress who was doing the training was very short and acted as if she didn't care throughout most of our meal. We are not in a hurry to go back, especially after feeling like we wasted our time and money.

Well, get the word out, this place doesn't need to a secret! It was outstanding from top to bottom! Upon arriving we were warmly greeted by Chris, and then taken great care of by our server, Ryleigh. She was wonderful to guide us through our meal and all of her selections were delicious. We started off with the calamari, then had the crab soup and house salad. In addition, I didn't care for the ten layer lasagne as there was way too much dough and barely any sauce. More sauce would've helped some but still too much dough. I'd say five layers would provide a similar presentation as the slices do look lovely and the same can be achieved with less layering and more filling and sauce. I will eat in next time to get a better feel for the ambiance! And try something else! I have always loved Crust's menu so I'm sure I'll like more things here too.
