Gnocchi and Broccoli Bake
Ariel C.

I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. The service was okay. We did have to wait a bit for our drinks (water and sweet tea), so by the time they came, our garlic rolls weren't as warm as when we received them. One of my friends is allergic to garlic and they brought her her own plain rolls, which was awesome. I appreciated how many items on the menu don't come with meat. I ordered the gnocchi and broccoli bake and it was SO good. It was a huge plate of gnocchi (two meals) with lots of broccoli! The sauce was so yummy and garlicky. It was pretty rich but for a once in a while treat was so satisfying. We did think it was kind of weird that the menu didn't have ingredients listed for the different pizzas. The waiter listed them all when we asked but that seems kind of silly. One friend ordered a calzone and seemed to like it although there was a lot of dough without filling. The other ordered the alfredo pasta with chicken and broccoli added and really enjoyed it. I definitely want to go back!

Went to try Bambinelli's tonight for dinner, our first time here. Oh what a disappointment except for our server Jack who was very pleasant and attentive. Let's start with the atmosphere; there was none. No personality at all, just very plain and boring. We were not surprised how empty the place was. We were craving something Italian and wanted to try someplace we hadn't been to before. Big mistake coming here. My wife and I agreed it was the worst meal we've had so far in 2024, already August. The garlic knots looked great and we're served warm, but where was the garlic? These had barely any garlic flavor and were a disappointment. My wife got eggplant parm and I got the lasagne; I typically love lasagne. The eggplant looked good and had promise until my wife took a bite. The sauce was nice and chunky, but was very sour and extremely salty and watery and couldn't stick to the spaghetti. We got a tiny dish of Alfredo sauce to cut down on the tartness some in addition to adding sugar, but didn't help enough, especially with the saltiness. I was hoping to love the lasagne that also looked good with loads of melted cheese. But too bad the sauce here was also sour and salty. Though nicely stuffed with ground meat, ricotta, and melted cheese, the lasagne noodles also seemed melted as they were overcooked. This lasagne had the consistency of mush, and that's not a compliment! Too bad the owner didn't stop in to get our feedback. We headed home after paying our bill, and heated up some leftovers from our refrigerator to enjoy. Suffice it to say, trying new places can be fun, but Bambillini's will not be coming back on our list to spend our hard earned money at with so many other good Italian dining options available.

My husband has been to this restaurant before and wanted to take me. The food was good and service was also good. We got a small pizza, chicken parmigiana, and spaghetti with meatballs The food came out fast and delicious. We will go back.

Horrible customer service. The employees literally look over at the customers that come into the restaurant and don't say anything. They Don't greet or acknowledge. I came in to pick up my order and stood there for a while. Another customer came in after me and asked if I've been helped yet and mentioned that she came earlier in the day and waited over 20 minutes. It is ridiculous, I won't be returning.

Going to give this place a solid three stars. What they do, they do mediocre. Everything tasted decent but nothing stellar. The garlic knots look like they would be pretty incredible, but they're really like a discount Ipps. However, the fact that you basically get as much of it as you want is a bread lover's paradise. Wine prices by the bottle were pretty decent, but the meals themselves near or more than $20. Serving sizes are enough to feed two though! The inhouse Italian sausage was a nice touch. Maybe a pizza with it next time would be the right combination. I really liked the fact that even for a Friday night, the place was super slow and nearly empty. Most of the traffic was in take-out orders. Jasmine, our server, had a big personality and was really a lot of fun.

Close by pizza delivery that was pretty good. In our never ending quest for our "goto pizza" place we were told about a location that is very close to us. Bambinelli's is a smallish location boasting pizza and other Italian staples. We have done delivery and take out but have not been inside yet. The pizza was pretty good but the pick up experience was a bit lacking. They direct you around to the side of the building where they have a small drive through style window that you have to walk up too. The area around the widow is tight And all of their pickup services use this spot as well. So there is a "crowd" at the window. It isn't horrible but it is a bit "messy". The pizza has a great crust... that crust that is crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside. The thin style is thin but not too thin... it supports the toppings. The selection of toppings are not as wide as it could be... I couldn't get artichoke... but they did have green olives and they are not stingy with the toppings. The sauce is tasty... could use a bit more umpf but at least it is not sweet. Not our "goto" place... but one that we will order from again for sure.

I absolutely love the Italian food at Bambinelli's! The chicken parm is always my favorite and the garlic rolls cannot be matched. The service at this location was also top-notch.

I had a small pizza half anchovies and half bacon. The pizza was delicious. I liked the anchovies side best. Great pizza.

We had planned to eat the pizza there, but when we walked in the place was a lot smaller and dingier than I expected. There was zero ambiance. They had more of a waiting area than a dining area, which was surprising to me. Luckily my friend lives nearby so we just took the pizza to go. While we were waiting, employees came and sat at the table next to us and were putting together pizza boxes. It's just weird, I don't get it. I would either make a legitimate dining area (one not used for side work and much nicer than what is currently in place) or get rid of the tables altogether. They're old and in the way. Turn some music on, clean up the interior. Also the outside of the place is a bit run down. Parking lines so ancient you can't see them- that kind of thing. The pizza was pretty good but not amazing and for $22.75 I need it to be amazing. I like supporting small businesses, but when I can get a better tasting and cheaper pizza at Dominos, that's unfortunately the route I have to go. Especially when the spot has no ambiance. Sadly I will not be back unless they someday reduce prices, add more items to their menu, and create a real dining space.

Hubby and I are early birds, so no surprise that we were the only ones there upon arrival around 4ish. We sat down and started to look over the menu. There was only one guy working and whether intentionally or not, he definitely gave off a vibe that felt like he was annoyed we had come in, which wasn't a great first impression. He never gave us napkins or utensils, so hubby got up and got some for us after the garlic bread we ordered as a starter arrived. The garlic bread was literally just toast with some garlic spread slathered on. It wasn't great, and we would not order it again. Aside from that, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and hubby got his weird Hawaiian concoction that I will never understand the appeal of. My pepperoni pizza was amazing. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni distribution were spot on, and the best part is that the bottom was perfectly crispy but not burned. Hubby's was good too, though he is less appreciative of the crisp factor than I am, though to be fair, he is not really much of a pizza fan to begin with and was just humoring my date night pick. After our pizza was brought to the table, other employees had started to arrive. Salty dude disappeared and a much nicer lady took over for him by bringing us drink refills and later closing out our tab. We will not be returning for date night, but the pizza was definitely good enough for a repeat visit. I will most likely just order as carryout during lunchtime instead, though. I wasn't really a fan of the vibe for dining in, particularly due to the salty guy who we seemed to annoy at the beginning, but I think the pizza was definitely worth coming back for.

We came here for dinner and did the Yurt experience, something available during the holiday season…read more They book three groups a night, one at 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm. The yurt was located on the restaurants patio, and was decorated for Christmas. There were lights and a wreath on the inside, as well as blankets in case it got chilly. There was a flap as the door that looked like it closed, but ever did because waiters were frequently entering. I thought that there would be multiple yurts, but we were the only one. From where I sat, I was in the direct line of vision of another guest outside of the yurt, eating on the patio, which was a little awkward. It was not as private as it seemed. We came for the 6pm time slot, and the guests who were there at 4pm were taking a while so we weren't sat until around 6:30pm. We got lucky with the weather and it wasn't cold, but I could see that being a point of concern very quickly. As previously mentioned, they do provide blankets. We started with the Charcuterie board, and it was exceptional. It says on the menu that it feeds two, but I think it could feed three if you're not starving. There was one cheese that was in a coating of what seemed to be nuts, and that was the star of the show. For the entree, I got the Cacio e Pepe with chicken. The pasta was creamy and very cheesy (!) and there was substantial amount of chicken. I got full about half way through, and took the rest to-go. Although there were some hiccups, this was an enjoyable, novelty dinner, and I would recommend.
