My girlfriend and I went to try La Strada for the first time and really enjoyed our visit. We had passed it many times but decided to stop by and loved the ambiance. It has the feel of a small home style restaurant, which is further helped be the army of wait staff. There were tons of waiters and waitresses constantly checking in on everyone which ensured a stellar visit for each customer. The food was pretty solid, although if I returned I'd want to try something different. After the delicious, complimentary garlic bread we opted for the gorgonzola salad and the soup of the day, a chicken and vegetable soup. We both enjoyed our starters. For our mains, we went with the specials, a chicken, sausage, mushroom, and bell pepper pasta, and a lamb shank over risotto. The pasta had a ton of flavor and was very tasty, while the lamb shank was a little dry and the risotto wasn't exactly what I expected and left something to be desired. We split a creme brûlée dessert and really enjoyed that as well. The highlight of our visit was our server Michael. He was super attentive, very helpful in guiding us through the menu and the specials, and even brought us a delicious chocolate mousse upon hearing that it was our first time visiting. An old tried and true classic in East Cobb! We had dinner at La Strada this evening. Our waiter was wonderful. Polite, friendly, on pointe, not intrusive. The dining room is tasteful and not loud. I had the chicken sorrentino and my husband had the blackened chicken salad. Our food came out quickly and was good. There is a reason La Strada has been in business for as long as I can remember. It is a consistently good neighborhood restaurant. I wish we had more restaurants of this quality in East Cobb. read more

I have had this restaurant on my to-dine list for months and we finally found time in the family calendar to try it out. For starters, I love that this was a locally owned spot and the food was very good. The ambience actually gives me better vibes than the food itself. (I'm a real sucker for restaurants that aren't chains) It's a very quaint and small-ish restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our server got peppered with questions and didn't steer us off course. We tried the calamari, had both the Caesar salad and the vinaigrette with Gorgonzola (with the delicious garlic bread). For mains we had a crab ravioli, chicken parm, and stuffed chicken parm. Portions are generous and we brought home leftovers for lunch. The food is very traditional, Americanized Italian food. It's very good, but I will be honest and say it's not the best we have experienced at the price point in the same area. Will I go back - yes. My wife and I had a movie night this past Saturday 5/31/2025. We decided to call La Strada and see if we could get a table and we were successful. Our waiter that night was Mike C and right from the start he took excellent care of us and provide stellar information about the specials and the wine we ordered. The food came pretty fast and was over the top delicious. We have been there before; but this was just a great experience. We look forward to the next visit. I'm a little surprised that I have never reviewed La Strada before, it maybe that its because when my wife and I started going there, the internet wasn't yet as robust as it is today. Seriously my wife threw a surprise birthday party for my 40th birthday at La Strada and I turned 72 on my last one. We don't go very often maybe twice a year but have never had a bad meal or bad service. The menu is reliable as is the food quality. It is like putting on your favorite sweater , just makes you feel comfortable when you walk in. I have tried most of the menu and really its all good . If you are looking for a comfortable and cozy setting and good food served in an efficient and friendly style check it out. Oh and its also very reasonably priced. read more

Our favorite family-owned Italian restaurant is La Strada. The gorgonzola vinaigrette house salad, warm sliced loaf of bread and chopped black olives to start with are so delicious. Although I love the Chicken Francese and Piccata, my favorite entree has become the Chicken Alfredo. Everything is so fresh and tender. Last visit our server was Michael C and he was excellent! We live in Sandy Springs and have many good Italian restaurants closer to us to pick from but the longer drive to La Strada is always worth it. BTW, the bartender makes a great drink too. read more

We have driven by this establishment several times. I have noticed over that on the weekends, the parking lot is packed. We decided tonight was the night to try it. Walking in, the bar greets one with the walls and nooks decorated with family items and pictures. The floor is wooden planked It is quite small and the bar takes up a significant amount of square footage. The waitstaff were bubbly, interactive, and knowledgeable. Water was refilled and plates removed in a timely fashion. Our salads were fresh. As requested, the Caesar salad was not dripping in dressing. The entrees came out hot and as ordered. Tortellini and manicotti. As we were dining the area inside the door filled with patrons waiting to dine. I will say that there were several empty tables while we were there. I applaud the management for not seating every table and straining staff. I felt sorry for the hostess stand as it filled and filled with more and more people. My one note of feedback would be that instead of changing out the tablecloths , there was a piece of paper put on the table. The piece of paper was too wide for the table top so each time I lifted my arm, my sweater sleeve got caught on said paper causing the items on the table to move... It has been a while since we dined at La Strada, the food and service was as good as we remembered. The server brought a sample of the wine special for us to taste and it was an excellent compliment to the menu selections. The Bruschetta was an nice addition to the beginning of our meal. My wife had the Eggplant Parm and the dish was done to perfection. The marinara, cheese and eggplant were done in a texture that complemented each component of the dish. I had t he Soft Shell Crab, the presentation and ingredients of the dish were unique. Definitely one of the best Soft Shell presentations I have had. If the crab flag is flying it is definitely worth the experience.
