Camps pizza is an Atlanta secret! Amazing large gourmet pizza.
Brooke H.

Life hack! This pizza is wonderful and is bogo on uber eats! Highly recommend. Easily delivered to your door. Ice storm today and didn't want to go out. I had half mushroom and half meatball (for my husband). Perfection and super inexpensive.

We went to Camps on a spontaneous date night. I knew it was a pizza/pasta place and was impressed by the menu upon arriving. We enjoyed a fig & mushroom pizza (from the September specials), a GOAT pizza (regular menu), and a glass or two of wine. The side salad was really nice. The fig pizza too. The GOAT pizza needed to be salted. And no complaints about the wine. Solid 4*. I would go again and try something else the next time.

Our visit to Camps unfortunately left a lot to be desired. My girlfriend and I visited for dinner and left disappointed. The inside of the restaurant does have a good ambiance, but the service was lackluster. The waitress seemed uninterested and bored when she talked to us and took our order, which didn't make for a great experience. The food was hit and miss. In total we had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer, and then split the fish and chips, smash burger, and Caesar salad. We both enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and the burger was solid as well. We both found the fish and chips to be very bland and the Caesar salad had a really off-putting taste, so neither of us ate it. Overall, Camps wasn't exactly what we were looking for that night, it may have just been a bad night for the kitchen and crew, but given our experience I don't think either of us are planning on returning.

What a cozy, homey spot this place turned out to be! It's hidden behind a shopping center and adjacent to a cantina (which we'll be checking out soon as well), & not very visible from the main roads nearby. Unassuming from the outside, it's like walking into a country store that's dressed up for a dance on the inside. The barn facade and seating sets up nicely for families in the booths, cozy corners and convo in the bar, and open spaces for larger groups. We wanted to sit outside in the beautiful patio overlooking the water, but it had just rained and the tables and chairs were all still wet. We were still able to sit near the window. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was phenomenal! She was welcoming, friendly, efficient, attentive, and really accommodating. When I asked to adjust one of the specials, she had no problem asking the chef and made it happen. ALL our food was DELICIOUS! From the Brussel sprouts and melt-in-your-mouth Garlic knots, to the salmon plate and deconstructed Hot Chicken Sandwich, to the peach cobbler "bite." I didn't want the bread in the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, so that was I asked to have served with a house salad instead... holy cow it was amazing!! The salmon dish looked small but was a perfect serving and tasted just as amazing. My only surprise was how tiny the peach cobbler was, so I'm calling it "a cobbler bite"! Still, we can't wait to come back here to try more menu items!

We have been wanting to eat here for a long time and we finally went a couple of weeks ago. I loved their outdoor seating area. It's really big and dog friendly, which is nice! Our server was super nice and checked on us frequently. The menu is large and looked really good. I wanted to love this place because it's so close to where we live, but we sadly didn't enjoy our food. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was okay. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken, which comes with Alfredo pasta, and I did not care for the chicken at all (though it was a large portion!). The pasta was good. My husband ordered the French dip.

8" The Roost Pizza

The search is over! I have found the best pizza in Marietta! My husband and I met for dinner at Camp'a Kitchen and Bar. I was undecided on what to order until I looked at the specials for July. The Roost pizza called out to me loud and clear! It has chicken, caramelized onion, spinach, pizza cheese, parmesan and olive oil. I ordered a small (8 inches) and side salad. I sent my compliments to the kitchen for such a delicious pizza. I was so thrilled there were pizza leftovers, which I enjoyed for lunch the next day. The Roost is being offered throughout July. If I have a chance, I'll be back for another round...the pizza was that good!

Wow... we've been in a couple of times and I have failed to leave a review. Last night was amazing. We had great drinks from the $12 summer menu, the Brussel sprouts appetizer, and entree of Caesar salad and the pasta. Our server Tari (hopefully I am close on the spelling) was very attentive and engaging. I would love to have her be our serve the next time.

E X P E R I E N C E we made a reservation for 4 for Easter Sunday for 6pm. we were immediately greeted and sat. there were only a few other tables occupied in the restaurant. we sat on the patio and it was so nice. the weather was optimal with a bit of wind. the tables were clean. seeing the little pond was quite enjoyable. TIP: PATIO IS DOG FRIENDLY :):):):):) when we left, every employee that we passed, greeted us, which was a nice touch- just to say bye. F O O D calamari: well fried. crispy. light. meaty. love! definitely a staple Brussels: love. lightly oiled and beautifully crispy. not soggy or mushy. bee me up scotty: definitely a crowd favorite for a reason. light sweet honey drizzle to balance the heaviness from the cheese and the meaty toppings. the pizza crust is chewy but not grossly dough-y. it has a nice crunch to the crust wings: meh. very average. nothing special. the wings were a decent size tiramisu: different to what youd expect from your average tiramisu. it's more pudding in texture. the breading is very soggy. I don't like it but my friends did. it's not as strong in the coffee flavor either 3 fountain drinks P A R K I N G plenty of parking. the plaza is not very busy. large parking spots too S E R V I C E Tari was amazing- friendly and relaxed. she was quick to review the menu with us and mention that the menu changes often. shes prompt with what we asked for (straws, drinks) and was accessible in case we needed anything. attentive. timely. easy to approach. 5 star service. Dined here for Mother's Day with the family. I saw an on FB for the buffet on the patio and immediately made a reservation. We wanted something off the beaten path with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. This fit the ask! The buffet was $25 that included brunch favorites like pastries, croissants, chicken salad, hash browns, scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, fried chicken tenders, waffles, bacon, chicken sausage, shrimp & Gouda grits, biscuits and gravy, French toast, Canadian ham, bagel & lox, fruit and warm cinnamon buns. Non-alcoholic beverages were included. They had breakfast cocktails like mimosas, Bloody Mary's and more. The only thing I dinged them on was nothing green on the buffet. Mixed greens, spinach, cucumbers, green tomatoes, beans or kale - nada. That was a let down since I'm eating low carb these days! Overall, loved the service and variety of the food. There's something for everyone. We'll be back to try the regular menu next time.

We've been here a few times and it's great! The bar area has a nice fireplace. The patio is very nice! We love the pie and vine special for a pizza and bottle of wine for $20 (we got a bigger one for $25). I love love the bee me up Scottie pizza! The hot honey and goat cheese just pair so well together. Everything else we've had here has been great.

Wow!!!! Unbelievable

This is literally our new go to!!! Hadn't been here in years but wow.... Incredible food, prices are fantastic and the bar tender is an east Cobb legend. I our weekly rotation. AND.... 00 Italian flour.... If you have a gluten sensitivity .....TRY the pizza!!! You'll LOVE IT!!!

I've come to Camps on two occasions. On the first to dine in and the second to carry order out a pizza order, but we had a couple drinks the second time while we waited. On both occasions it was me and my discriminating girl. Camps made a great impression on us, and is an upscale casual dinning experience with a fun eclectic menu and super friendly hosts and staff. There is a nice lounge area to distress in front of a fire place behind the front and center bar. Surrounding the bar are both booths, tables for seated dinning and a open kitchen with views of the pizzeria which they manage to crank out quickly. My dinning in experience was equally pleasant. My little one got to color on crayons and paper while we dined on very fancy food. My carry out order consisted of a pepperoni pie and a pie hysterically called Momma Eat your Veggies. Both were wonderful. We had a Shirley temple and Spicy skinny margarita while we waited. Yum! I highly recommend Camps. You just can't go wrong either way.

We had planned to eat the pizza there, but when we walked in the place was a lot smaller and dingier than I expected. There was zero ambiance. They had more of a waiting area than a dining area, which was surprising to me. Luckily my friend lives nearby so we just took the pizza to go. While we were waiting, employees came and sat at the table next to us and were putting together pizza boxes. It's just weird, I don't get it. I would either make a legitimate dining area (one not used for side work and much nicer than what is currently in place) or get rid of the tables altogether. They're old and in the way. Turn some music on, clean up the interior. Also the outside of the place is a bit run down. Parking lines so ancient you can't see them- that kind of thing. The pizza was pretty good but not amazing and for $22.75 I need it to be amazing. I like supporting small businesses, but when I can get a better tasting and cheaper pizza at Dominos, that's unfortunately the route I have to go. Especially when the spot has no ambiance. Sadly I will not be back unless they someday reduce prices, add more items to their menu, and create a real dining space.

On the inside it's a quaint dining area with a parlor style, very simple chairs and tables. You've got full view of their pizza oven which is engraved with Vesuvio on the front. Sparsely decorated with vintage and photos reminiscent of Napoli Italy. They host Neapolitan style pizza which includes simple and fresh ingredients and a thin crust making it easy to fold a piece of their pies together to prevent spills. There is a small fridge with drinks on the side. You go up to the counter, grab a menu and tell the cashier/hostess what you want and you pay right at the counter. Tipping is optional. We ordered the margherita and porcillina pies. The first had all the expected toppings. I really liked the taste of the fresh mozzarella and they didn't heavily sauce it so it was a delicate balance. Topped with marzano tomatoes and basil was so delicious. The second was topped with Italian sausage and spicy salami. Just a slow heat that wasn't overpowering which I really liked. The crust on both were very evenly cooked, a wonderful blend of chewy and crispy. I also didn't feel like these pies were heavy. They didn't weigh down your stomach afterwards. I was also eyeing their homemade bruschetta which I think I would try next. The prices here were also quite good, no higher than 16 dollars making an affordable night out. The simplicity and freshness of the food makes it worthwhile to visit and try for yourself!
