Crispy Blue Soft Shell Crab Salt And Pepper Soft Shell Crab

Came on a whim, no reservation or anything so I sat in the main part of the restaurant. I was early, came right at opening, and they were still setting up, so it took a while for service. Server seemed a bit flustered but no big deal. Fish was great and the soft shell crab is very flavorful. I could tell that sitting at the bar was the way to go from overhearing conversations. Nice find and reasonable prices.

Experience at the bar was amazing Food was impeccable. Never had such an amazing time eating seafood before. Changed my mind on how icky uni used to be and how amazing it tastes when prepared just right. Taken on a mouth watering and mouth orgasmic ride. So many courses I tapped out before the end Will definitely be back to make it through the entire course. Thank you!!

Omakase

Unreal experience! Did omakase with another couple and it was incredible. Sat at chef Roger's table I believe there are 8 spots and it was such an intimate experience. Some of the best quality fish I have ever had. The hand roll was to die for as well as the salmon and toro. Can't wait to go back and experience it again!

Make a reservation at the bar and let chef Roger take care of the menu, an unbelievable sushi experience. Can't recommend it enough.

This place is authentic and provides excellent quality fish. They have daily specials with unique fish options that vary daily. Friendly staff and nice spot with Japanese decorated interiors.

My go-to casual sushi spot in a neighborhood with many solid choices. Dinner here is no-frills, well-priced, and fresh. The service is quick, and we were given a small bowl of complimentary edamame. On my recent visit, we ordered the following (~$60 without tip): - Agedashi tofu - SO good, light and crispy - Best handrolls (off-menu) - must order, delicious softshell crab & spicy tuna - Caterpillar roll - Romeo & Juliet roll

Wow, incredible dining experience ! Make sure you sit with Roger at the back sushi bar ! He is funny & knowledgeable and makes the most incredible dishes ! He just brings out plate after plate out, you don't event have to bother to order ! Each plate was aesthetically pleasing & mouth-watering good. His selection of fish were delicious , ended with a great dessert. Nice selection of sake too ! 20/10 recommend ! Will definitely be back.

It was a bit spicy. The beet poke was an interesting combination - I'm impressed they were able to capture the essence of poke! The spicy sauce pizza was good - you can't tell it's vegan at all. The restaurant was very cozy and intimate. The staff were all really friendly! The food came out pretty quickly.

This is a really beautiful, upscale vegan option in San Francisco near Fort Mason. I took my mother…read morefor Mother's Day. I realized I had not added seating accommodation to my reservation and tried to call, but no one answered. When we arrived, the hostess told us we would not be able to sit in any of the currently empty booths because reservations were coming in later. We were seated at a table off the dining space near the kitchen, my mom was a little too chilly and the booth didn't have enough neck support. I expressed to the host that though I was sorry I had forgotten to add accommodation, that this was just not the way to handle the problem. I was able to speak to the manager, who had been outside taking orders and was clearly working very hard that day. (Her name is quite uncommon so I'm just going to call her M, but I really appreciate your help!) She asked me what my concern was, and I told her, at which point she asked me to wait nearby while she figured out if she could rearrange some tables for us. The bartender was incredibly kind and served me while I waited, and distracted me from imminent tears by sharing intricate details about each drink he was making. I learned do they have a myriad of health oriented cocktails, with ingredients like turmeric, ginger, and aloe liqueur. The manager returned and said that she had already seated my mother in a new space and escorted me to the table, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the meal. At the beginning of the menu, they list the ingredients that are currently in season, and at the back of the menu, there is a color wheel, telling you the benefits of the colors of food. (Purple foods can assist with memory and brain function!). We ordered the asparagus, which was in season, spicy cucumber, and the Aji grill for two. The tofu that came with the grill for two was my favorite thing that we ate. I think you can judge a vegan / vegetarian restaurant by their treatment of tofu. Perfectly seasoned with a crispy outside and I would come back just for this. The cauliflower steak was also pretty tasty. The cocktails are excellent, we tried the BLACKPINK and my mother tried the espressotini and we were really happy with both. I don't know how popular their bar scene is, but I imagine it would be a nice way to meet other vegan and vegetarian folks over light bites. Our waiter Daniel made sure to give us the Mother's Day special dessert the restaurant had created, which was an avocado Grenache with fresh berries. If the experience had started with less stress, this review would be five stars, but I'm very grateful to the staff for doing what they could to correct it and ensure that we had a great Mother's Day! I would love to visit again and update my review :)

Rooster & Rice is a chain with multiple locations serving up Khao Mun Gai (or Thai style chicken…read morerice), but my most recent order with them really fell flat. I ordered "The Original" with jasmine chicken rice, extra cilantro, cucumber, chicken skin (love that those are free add-ons), and an egg, and while the bowl was fine, all of the flavors felt like they could've been amped up several notches as everything leaned pretty bland and one note. I even swapped in the ginger scallion sauce, usually my favorite with Hainanese chicken, but it still fell flat and didn't bring the dish together the way I'd hoped. The dark meat was okay, if under-seasoned, but the breast meat was honestly pretty rough as it was extremely dry to the point where I was chasing each bite with water just to get it down. I added the chicken spring rolls as well, which were poorly wrapped and fell apart after a single bite, and they used the same overcooked white meat, making them basically inedible. If this is the standard for their white meat, I really think they should either stick to dark meat or make it clear that dark meat is an option without an upcharge. That said, my order was ready right when I expected it to be, pickup was smooth, and the staff were very nice and friendly, which keeps this from dropping lower in rating as I'm likewise hoping this was just an off night.

Wasn't too busy on a Friday for lunch. Order came out Quick. Chicken was moist, the ginger sauce…read morepairs well with the rice and chicken.

That's just crazy to me considering it's farro and quinoa with some Caesar dressing and a couple pieces of reheated breaded chicken. That can be made in bulk cost for likely $10-15 so you are paying a serious premium here. Considering they do a lot of volume it's a rip off. I would give 5 stars if chicken or protein came INCLUDED in the salad/grain bowl, but as it stands you're better off heating up your own frozen chicken cutlets at home after buying their salad/bowl. You'll save like $12 after tax. I'm not usually one to comment about the price of things like this, but genuinely this is nearly double the price of Sweetgreen or MIXT for virtually the same product.
