Checked out this spot after working out. It's a grab and go with tables outside to eat. Service was quick and efficient. They offer a selection of burritos and biscuits and beverages. I had the mamas burrito with brisket that comes with additional salsa on the side. It was flavorful and well balanced. To drink I opted for an iced chai and it was not overly sweet (which is my preference low sugar) and refreshing. If you're out for a walk or a run in the marina area check them out.
We came on a Sunday around 1pm and it was pretty busy. The inside is very small with only the register and the kitchen. All the seats and tables provided are outside. Luckily we were able to grab a table as soon as some other people were leaving but I saw some eating in their car. It is a perfect lunch spot though if you live around the area. We got the chicken Caesar wrap alongside their strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was refreshing not overly sweet or tart. The paprika chips were also okay, the paprika not adding much flavor to your basic potato chips. The star of the show is definitely the wrap. The caesar salad was fresh in there and well seasoned with the dressing and the tortilla tasted fresh. The chicken was also very good on it but I wished they added more of it as I was only getting it here and there. Overall if you are around the area and want something light I would come try this place. I will return to try their breakfast burritos!

Been following them for a long time and was stoked to finally drop in. I got the special breakfast burrito, chicken caesar wrap and a cold brew with banana foam. The bb was fine. 'chorizo' looks like ground beef and tasted like chili. Ended up picking the meat out and everything else inside was pretty solid. The crispy tater tots are money. The caesar wrap was good but nothing special. Some more chicken and tortilla sear would've helped. If I was nearby, craving a wrap, and no line - I'd give this another shot or try the tikka. Cold brew just tasted like dirty water. The chips with the wrap were my favorite part
After seeing how viral Mama's became, I knew I eventually needed to make my way there to try out the Caesar wrap. | vibe | Arrived early around 10:30am on a Saturday and it was already a line. I would say it took about 20ish minutes to order and maybe another 20 minutes to receive our order. It was definitely a wait, but waiting with friends made time pass quickly. It's a very casual place with a few tables on the sidewalk. After receiving our order, we decided to walk to a park to enjoy our food. | food | Chicken caesar wrap (3.5/5): maybe it's bc we didn't eat it right away, but I thought it was just ok. I am a caesar salad lover so I thought the dressing ratio was perfect, but I didn't think it was worth the wait. Breakfast burrito (4/5): with the added brisket, phew! Solid bfast burrito. | tl;dr | Overall, I think the wait was a major factor for me. I think it is nice if you live in the area and come in an off day, but weekends are rough and I did not think the food was worth the wait.
My friend and I stopped by for lunch and ordered the chopped chicken ceasar salad wraps. It was my first time trying one, and it was delish! The wrap was pretty big and packed with fresh Caesar salad and chicken. Everything tasted fresh and it had the right amount of seasoning and dressing. I also really liked that it came with a side of chips! Our food came out within a reasonable amount of time, and there were outdoor tables available for seating. It was a bit windy when we visited, so we had to keep an eye on our food and napkins, but other than that, we had a great lunch. The wraps were so big that we even had leftovers to enjoy later!
Tried something new-- the breakfast sandwhich. It was really yummy (especially the bread) but not as good as the burrito imo. Line moves fast and orders are served pretty quick. Love this causal brunch spot!
I've been interested in trying Mama's Luncheonette, especially for the Chopped Chicken Caesar Wrap. There was a small line and the place was busy, but it didn't take too long to receive our order. The Chicken Caesar Wrap was stuffed and made for a filling meal. It was sliced in half, which I appreciated because one half was already plenty of food. It also comes with chips, which made for some added crunch on the side. Overall, I thought the wrap was delicious and the flavors were good, it definitely would be a good choice for brunch or lunch in the city.
EDIT: this is for the Marin location Vibes are cute and diner-eque. My husband and I ordered the famous breakfast burrito with brisket. The service was quick and friendly. The food itself was good but nothing amazing. I liked that the burrito is filling. My issues were: 1. The brisket was almost flavorless, it just gets lost in the burrito which isn't what I was expecting. But I guess the $3 add on should have been a sign. 2. The burrito has a salsa in it that was spicier than I was mentally prepared for. I KNOW I have a low tolerance for spice though so this is 100% personal 3. The juices were just okay.

I enjoyed the combo of the scrambled eggs, avocado and brisket which reminded me of a really nice beef jerky. I do wish the tater tots were a bit crispier but overall it was a nice grab and go option. The burrito itself is mild and the beef and smoked salsa added a nice kick if you want something spicier. The line can be long, especially on weekends, but it's worth the wait and it moves quickly!
Been wanting to try their famous ceasar chicken wrap. Really enjoyed it. Nothing too special really, but the ceasar itself is tasty. Refreshing meal for lunch time. Downside is there's only a few chairs. Very small inside. Good place to get food to go. Parking can also be bery hard.
I rate it an 8/10 or in this case, 4/5 stars because it's not "omg amazing" but it isn't "mid average" either. I didn't like the potato chips that were paired with the wrap tho. Kinda bland. I came for one thing and one thing only. The Caesar salad wrap. My friend and I needed to find a quick bite to eat or bring to the Giants game. We ended up wanting try this spot out after seeing high reviews on social media. The place itself is super tiny so you have to wait out in line to be called inside to order. 3.4 stars. I recently saw Mama's listed on some influencer's best chicken caesar wraps in SF. I have never had a chicken caesar wrap before but wanted to start my time with them off strong. I dropped by Mama's for weekend lunch and there was a line out the building, which becomes less impressive when you realize the shop itself is just a counter that leads directly into the kitchen. The line moved fairly quickly and I could see the staff inside working as a well-oiled chicken caesar wrapping machine. There are a few tables outside but my friend and I made do on some of the chairs. It was HARD to balance a wrap, the box with chips, and a drink. I started with the carrot, orange, ginger juice. I loved tasting a hint of warmth from the ginger, and the juice was well-balanced otherwise, between the tart orange and sweet carrot. For $18 you get a chicken caesar wrap and paprika fries. The wrap is a pretty decent size and the chicken is quite tender and flavorful. The caesar dressing and parm are funky and the lettuce is crisp. Turns out I don't like caesar salad as much as I'd thought, so I probably would not get this again, but I can appreciate that this was a solid wrap. Would have liked the lettuce chopped smaller, for better mouthfeel and easier eating. The chips were unfortunately so gross to me. They were quite hard and thick, and coated on both sides with a second skin of paprika. Now I consider myself a paprika lover, but even I don't like it to this extent. The chips just tasted very bitter to me, with an unpalatable texture from the sheer amount of powder on each chip. Overall my lunch at Mama's was rather whelming. I think I would be interested in trying some of their other wraps or breakfast items, but I would avoid the chips in the future.
Chicken caesar wrap! I saw so many TikToks about this place and I finally got the chance to try it! I came on a Friday around 11 am and there were a few street parking available in front of the store. There are a few tables in front of their store so you can enjoy it fresh off the grill. We ordered the chicken caesar salad wrap and the total came out to be ~$20. Food: Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap (8.2/10): The caesar wrap was honestly a good size. The salad was sauced down perfectly to the point where it wasn't dripping everywhere or needed extra sauce. The lettuce was still crunchy after a 20 minute drive! The caesar dressing was very garlicky (not complaining)! I also really enjoyed the chips that it came with!

Overhyped on TikTok. The Caesar wrap is exactly what you would think it tastes like, just a salad wrapped in a tortilla. It came with chips, and while they looked heavily seasoned they somehow were very bland. Nothing special, and it came out to be $20 after tax. I also tried the lamb wrap and while the lamb was tender, the arugula was insanely bitter. I'm not sure what kind of arugula they put in there, but it was as bitter as bitter melon! The white sauce also had no taste, and it tasted like straight heavy cream. Kind of disappointed by the taste and the price of the wraps. There are also barely any tables outside so if you come when it's busy, it'll be hard to find a table to sit. The staff were quick and friendly though and it's a great area to be in. read more
Super tasty and fast service. Every piece of lettuce in that wrap was coated in sauce, but it was still refreshing. There is also a good amount of chicken in the wrap, and it comes with chips or fries (with extra charge). The tortilla it was wrapped in was also good, not the kind that sticks to the roof of your mouth. There were a few tables outside to sit, it was more of a window to order rather than a restaurant, but I would definitely come back. read more

Finally avoided the crowds and got to Mamas. I went during a weekday after the lunch rush, so my wait was less than 15 mins. I got the tikka wrap, one of the most unique wraps I ever had. The butter chicken dipping sauce took it to another level. So are the lines worth it? That's debatable. But I will say that at Mamas, you'll get one of the most innovative wraps in SF. read more
I was nearby and just remembered Mamas was good the first time I tried it a year ago. I got their famous chicken wrap, but honestly I don't get the crazy hype haha. It was ok, a salad in a wrap, dressing was good but not amazing! I think last time it was the breakfast burrito that I liked more! Great staff! read more
My favorite Caesar salad wrap I've ever had. The dressing had almost a slight spicy tang to it. The chicken was crispy and there was a boat load of parm - just how I like it. Huge portions - perfect to share with a friend. read more
I heard about this spot before because it was trending on tiktok but let me tell you... it's worth it. The eggs were perfect consistency and everything inside it was just MWAH! The only thing is the burrito is smaller so don't expect it to be humongous!! But worth it! read more
Delicious chicken caesar salad wrap, this was a super filling meal! I also loved the side of potato chips that came with it. The store is pretty small, you wait in a line outside to go inside to order, and there is no seating inside. Even outside, there is very limited space to eat which is a bit inconvenient, though there are some nice parks/spots nearby. read more

Best breakfast burrito I have ever tried. Do yourself a favor and add the $3 brisket. The wet eggs and avocado combo and the crispy edges of tortilla were very delicious. You can probably the orange cream coffee though, it wasn't bad but the burrito was pretty rich already so maybe a soda or something more light would've balanced the early morning meal! Definitely would introduce this spot to friends. read more

After seeing a ton of social media posts on IG/TikTok about "Mama's Luncheonette", I just had to give this wildly popular San Francisco Halal brunch/lunch spot a try. Located on Buchanan St. and adjacent to Union St. in the heart of the Marina District, this place has been serving delicious breakfast & lunch options ever since mid-2024. The menu is very limited but I always say that simpler is better; especially with better consistency. However, they are only open Wednesday through Friday from 9am-2:30pm, weekends from 8:30am-2:30pm, and closed Monday/Tuesday. I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 2/14/2026 at around 1:00pm. I will say that when arriving here, especially on the weekends to expect a long wait in line. Keep in mind that this place has no indoor seating as the interior layout only has space for a few customers to place their order. However, they do have a few outdoor tables you can sit at (which is what I did during my visit). I would just prepare yourself taking your food to-go and with relaxing spots such as Fort Mason & Marina Greens, this can truly be the perfect vibe when the weather is on your side. As I mentioned earlier, the menu is quite limited but very effective. Breakfast options consist of breakfast burritos while lunch options include a few different wraps. They also carry at least half a dozen refreshing drinks to pair up well with your food. Since I was craving a wrap, I went with their #1 top seller, their "Chopped Caesar Salad Wrap". This wraps consists of lemon pepper crushed chicken, chopped lettuce, fresh croutons, homemade Caesar dressing, and a dusting of parmesan cheese. Every wrap also comes with a side of smoked paprika chips. Even though this place was crazy busy, total time of when I paid to when I received my food took about 7 minutes. Everything came in a convenient to-go paper box. I will say that the wrap is quite generous and even enough to feed two people for a light snack. As for the taste, it was absolutely delicious with a ton of chicken embedded in the wrap. The cheese and Caesar dressing really hit the spot as this is one of the better wraps I've tried. I also wanted to add that the portability factor make this wrap a great option when you're on the go and I see why this place hits the spot for a lot of people. The only reason why this isn't a five-star rating was the price is a bit higher than some of the major competition as $18 can be a bit steep for someone wanting a quick meal. All in all, "Mama's Luncheonette" is a spot I definitely recommend if you haven't been. San Francisco has and continues to be a focal point for some of the best food in the country. And this place is no exception. Service here was great while my wrap exceeded my expectations. With an effective limited menu, excellent Halal food options, and an overall pleasant experience, I am giving this small business an above average four star rating. read more

I've been wanting to try Mama's Luncheonette ever since hearing so many great reviews about their Caesar wrap. My partner and I stopped by on Valentine's Day around 11:20am. There was a line but it moved fairly quick. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap, while my partner ordered the Mama's burrito with turkey bacon. I really enjoyed the Caesar wrap, the portion of chicken was generous, the sauce was flavorful, and it felt light overall. The only downside was the croutons were a bit soggy. If they were crispy, it would've been a 10/10. The Mama's burrito was also yummy. They weren't stingy either the turkey bacon. Everything paired well together, and the sauce made it even better. I'd definitely come back again. There weren't many tables out front, so we ate on the side, which wasn't an issue at all. The service was friendly and fast too! read more
Came here to try their Chicken Caesar wrap! There's only street parking, but we were lucky to find a parking spot right in front! It's a small little shop that only has outside seating. The outdoor seating is a small table and 2 chairs, so not a good place for groups. The chicken Caesar wrap was good and came with so much filling. My husband and I shared one wrap and it filled us up. The chips that came with it was very good and crunchy too! read more
The amount of times I have ALWAYS wanted to come out here to try this and I finally did! I'm so happy I was able to finally try this place with how delicious it was and how simple it is to order here! Parking this day was an absolute nightmare with how much rain was pouring down. There isn't much parking on the street this place is on because of the driveways for each home. The downside here is there is not seating inside or out. However the food here is absolutely worth getting. The way these wraps look on TikTok are absolutely insane and live up to the hype! 10/10 perfection! read more

Had to come check out this lunch spot by the Marina after all the hype it's been getting! My vegetarian friend loved her cauliflower wrap (their vegetarian options are limited but they usually have at least one on the lunch menu). My chicken caesar wrap was delicious! If you like Caesar salad then you'll definitely enjoy this wrap, it was the perfect amount of dressing and the flavor was on point. Definitely get the fries on the side and they also have fun drinks. Parking sucks here but if you're able to get a spot and come during their hours it's worth the visit. read more
Hearing all the raves about how good this place was, I had to try it myself. It was easy to find, but the location is small so don't expect to have your family going in to order. Service was great, the person who took our order made sure to double check with us that our order was right and offered us water cups. Love that! We got the Caesar Salad Wrap ($18) and Tater Tots ($5). Lowkey, I enjoyed it but we spent 40 mins at the psychic down the street, so the food was a bit cold when I got the chance to actually eat it. Being in SF, I fear the price is what you'd expect, so it wasn't shocking when the total came out. I fear this place does deserve the attention, but at the same time, it's just another place that sells a caesar salad wrap. I wasn't a huge fan of the paprika chips that came with it. I'd definitely come back to try their breakfast sandwiches! Service was friendly, no seatings available. Mama's Luncheonette was a great find! I tried the chicken Caesar wrap and honestly, it was the best Caesar wrap I've had in a while, super flavorful, well-balanced, and really saucy. I do think I would've loved a bit more crunch in it, but overall it was still very, very good. I do wish I had timed my visit differently because I've heard amazing things about their breakfast wrap and lamb wrap and would've loved to try those too. Just a heads up: they don't make any grilled wraps until after noon, and the breakfast wrap is only available until noon so plan accordingly! Definitely a spot I want to come back to and explore more of the menu. Staff was very friendly! It's a small spot so plan for pick up and maybe eating at a park or they have a few tables in front of the spot. read more

Me and my bf tried this food spot today. It's like a hole in the wall food spot where you just order your food then they will take it out to you. There's a couple of tables and chairs outside by the side of the street. We ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Tater Tots and Strawberry Lemonade. The wrap was good, there was plenty of sauce in the wrap that it did not taste dry. The tater tots pretty good as well, it comes with some seasoning on it which made it better. Ok. I've been to mamas before and got the chicken Caesar wrap. If that was the only experience I had here I would have rated this 3 stars. The wraps on lavash are the way to go. I don't know why people come here for their chicken Caesar and breakfast burritos because the chicken tikka wrap was incredible ! It had pickled veggies and a great tikka masala sauce on the side. The veggies were fresh and the masala was actually good? It was not too creamy and not too tomato forward. I would buy the curry. Portion was really good, we split one wrap. Came on a Sunday morning around 10am and there was no line. Immediately after I order, a long line started to form. Ordering was quick and easy. I was told it would take 10 minutes for my order but it really only took 5 minutes. The inside is only for ordering, so you have to wait outside. There are some tables and seats available. I got the mama's with the brisket. It was pretty good! I would say adding the brisket makes it come out to a $18 burrito. I do think it tasted pretty good but for the portion and price, it does make it on the slightly pricier side. You can order without the brisket, but I think it would make the burrito taste incomplete. I still would come back though to try their wraps! read more

I was in the area, and decided to finally give Mama's Luncheonette a try after having it on my need to try list, and was a bit disappointed. We got here at 2 on a Sunday (30 minutes before they close), and there was a long line out the door. The line took about 15 minutes for us to order, and we decided on sharing the chicken caesar wrap. It took another 15ish minutes to get our wraps, and we were able to snag one of their outdoor tables to eat them at. The chicken caesar wrap was nothing out of the ordinary. It had a strong citrus flavor that I really enjoyed, but other than that was a bit disappointed. The chicken portion was extremely light, and had minimal pieces in the wrap. The chips were great though, and paired really well with the wrap! I wouldn't go out of my way to get this, but it's a good option if you're looking for a lighter bite. Average breakfast burrito, does not stand out. To be honest, Safeway has a better breakfast burrito. Went around 10:15AM weekend and there was a line, and about 20 minutes for order. When we got order around 10:40AM, there was no line. Order 2 breakfast burrito, one with brisket ($17) and one with no meat ($14). The store is very small, only a couple outside tables. The brisket was dry and there was not a lot of it. The burrito mostly consisted of just eggs, small bits of tater tots and avocado. The salsa definitely has a kick, pretty fresh ingredients there. Not much flavor in the burrito even with the salsa. read more
