MUST try salad place in town! The quality and taste of their salad is exceptional given it's a fast casual chain restaurant. We came to visit from LA and have pretty high standards of salad. In my opinion, MIXT is better than Sweetgreen hands on. The salad feels more fulfilling and has more generous protein portion. They also offer crispy chicken as a protein to go with many salads which is pretty unique and neat. We ordered: - Peachy: Seasonal salad with crispy chicken, peaches, grilled corn, cornbread crumble, pickled red onion and carrots. Tossed with sriracha ranch dressing and maple bbq drizzle. It is one of the most tastiest dressing I have ever had and HIGHLY recommend everyone to give a try. - Crispy cauliflower as a side: The flavor is again fantastic and has that same amazing sriracha ranch dressing on the side. Apparently you can customize your own salad but we didn't bother to try. They have a few stores in LA too and I would definitely come back to MIXT!

Dave's taco bowl is always a huge hit for me. I went right at 11:00am when they just opened and they filled my bowl up! The food was fresh and delicious! I've gone later in the day and my bowl was only half filled so I highly recommend coming earlier in the day. The service was great, very clean inside as well.

At first glance, I was a bit skeptical. My pet peeve with salads is not having enough sauce, and there was just one little container for a deceptively deep bowl of greens. The amount of chicken also seemed lackluster for the price ($19 with tax). But I judged too quickly. As I took a bite, and then another, it was hard to stop. I quickly dug into the salad, savoring the deep and varied and textures and flavor profile. It was so good. Romaine hearts, kale, crispy chicken, cabbage, oranges, spiced candied almonds, snow peas, jicama, spicy sesame seeds, fresh herbs, miso ginger vinaigrette... delicious. Do I still wish it had more sauce? Yes. Do I still wish it came with more chicken? Yes. But would I get it again? Also yes.

Very clean and plenty of table seating available along the window, plus 3 spacious booths and outdoor seating. Orchard, Bachelor, and Harvest are my go-to salads here. I got $12 off my first order today for downloading their app. Convenient location near shopping and cafes. Pricier than Sweetgreen though, so Mixt isn't my first pick of salad shops. Complimentary cucumber water. One clean single-stall unisex bathroom. Friendly staff.

We walked over after finishing a rumble class , which I highly recommend if your tired of the normal gym routine and wanna try something new ! I got the grain bowl with "right rice " which is a protein rich rice made from vegetables . I also added sweet potato , roasted cauliflower , sharp cheddar , grilled onion ,cherry tomatoes , and kale . I got a balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil dressing on the side . My grain bowl was super tasty and I really enjoyed it . I also tried some of the elote bowl with crispy chicken . It was a little on the heavier side, very tasty too though . Great place for a healthy meal !

I pulled out my bread and there was a bite taken out of it. I thought maybe it was a tear but it has teeth marks.

It's served with a side of housemade chips. The rueben was large enough that I was full eating just half and got the rest to go. After finishing my meal, I also got an oat cappuccino for an afternoon pick me up and was happy to have a boost of caffeine. The espresso was surprisingly good for a restaurant coffee bar. Bought my tix online and waited for the day to arrive. I included the offspring and +1 for the event. Got there early and found parking basically in front, a miracle in SF. Doors opened at 5:02 and we were greeted by the chef and staff all dressed in green like the Jolly Giant of commercial fame. The tables were decorated with flowers sprouting from funny shaped radish and turnip "pots". Did I mention that the dinners have been called whimsical......... So it begins. We got two juice pairings and two alcohol pairings and both were really interesting. The local Chardonnay on lees and the martini were winners in the alcohol category whereas celery ginger kombucha and citrus drink were rulers of the nonalcoholic category. Some refills were provided, yeah! First course - Miso celeriac soup with foraged herbs, walnut dill bread with kumquat jelly and chive butter. Rich and tasty soup with great bread though two smaller pieces would have been better than one large to enjoy the spreads. Second course - Lacto-fermented beets, roasted carrot, little jellies with spicy carrot salad and hummus. Everything was unique with interesting flavors and consistencies. Loved the little jellies made with agar and the carrot salad, Wow! Third course - Mushroom and beet pub pie over purple cauliflower béchamel. Amazingly flaky vegan puff pastry, don't know how they did that without butter. Filling was earthy and savory complemented well by the béchamel. Dessert - a selection of citrus based seasonal treats including chocolate, little cake balls, candied kumquats and aquafaba. Not just great for being vegan but actually a triumph. First time trying aquafaba and it really tasted like a light, neutral whipped cream. Big fan of the candied kumquats too. They even stuck a candle in the birthday girl's bowl and led the obligatory serenade. Overall a fun experience that reflects Alex Lauritzen's passion for vegetable based cuisine, taking it fully to the fine dining level but doing it with joy and whimsy. Staff and service were attentive. This was the eighth mushroom with dinners occurring once a month. They may also do pop up a La carte service but I'm not sure. Check the Insta @the mushroomsf for deets. We left pleasantly full so no post-Michelin pizza

Savor is an all-vegetarian, but mostly vegan, Yemeni restaurant. Everything is either vegan or is labeled as a 'vegan option' if there is dairy. , Here's what I tried: -Split pea soup: comes with every order (at least during lunch). I love a good split pea soup, and they're hard to find vegan out in the wild, so I really enjoyed this. -Artichoke Shawarma: Artichoke is soft but meaty. Hummus tastes fresh and homemade. Lots of flavor and zestiness throughout! -Mujadara: Forbidden rice and lentils topped with tofu, veggies, and tahini sauce. They use Hodo tofu, which is a great quality tofu. The rice is so soft and has a great texture to bite into. It's a mix of hot ingredients and cold ingredients, making this an adventurous plate for your taste buds! -Wild mushroom knafeh: My favorite dish I tried! Savory mushrooms with the sweet cream and crunchy top. I honestly didn't know what I was eating, but I could not stop until it was gone! -Dessert was recommended to us by the owner - a sweet coconut cream pastry. Again, I wasn't too sure what I was eating, but this dessert was a delectable bite from beginning to end. We really enjoyed our time and thank Mo for the wonderful recommendations, service, and above all, the delicious food! We will be back!

When we arrived, the hostess told us we would not be able to sit in any of the currently empty booths because reservations were coming in later. We were seated at a table off the dining space near the kitchen, my mom was a little too chilly and the booth didn't have enough neck support. I expressed to the host that though I was sorry I had forgotten to add accommodation, that this was just not the way to handle the problem. I was able to speak to the manager, who had been outside taking orders and was clearly working very hard that day. (Her name is quite uncommon so I'm just going to call her M, but I really appreciate your help!) She asked me what my concern was, and I told her, at which point she asked me to wait nearby while she figured out if she could rearrange some tables for us. The bartender was incredibly kind and served me while I waited, and distracted me from imminent tears by sharing intricate details about each drink he was making. I learned do they have a myriad of health oriented cocktails, with ingredients like turmeric, ginger, and aloe liqueur. The manager returned and said that she had already seated my mother in a new space and escorted me to the table, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the meal. At the beginning of the menu, they list the ingredients that are currently in season, and at the back of the menu, there is a color wheel, telling you the benefits of the colors of food. (Purple foods can assist with memory and brain function!). We ordered the asparagus, which was in season, spicy cucumber, and the Aji grill for two. The tofu that came with the grill for two was my favorite thing that we ate. I think you can judge a vegan / vegetarian restaurant by their treatment of tofu. Perfectly seasoned with a crispy outside and I would come back just for this. The cauliflower steak was also pretty tasty. The cocktails are excellent, we tried the BLACKPINK and my mother tried the espressotini and we were really happy with both. I don't know how popular their bar scene is, but I imagine it would be a nice way to meet other vegan and vegetarian folks over light bites. Our waiter Daniel made sure to give us the Mother's Day special dessert the restaurant had created, which was an avocado Grenache with fresh berries. If the experience had started with less stress, this review would be five stars, but I'm very grateful to the staff for doing what they could to correct it and ensure that we had a great Mother's Day! I would love to visit again and update my review :)
