Breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado
Ashley M.

If I could give the breakfast sandwich 10 stars, I would--it's that good. I added bacon and avocado, and I can honestly say I enjoyed every bite. Don't overthink it--just order it. I also had an Americano, which was equally delicious. It was a light, smooth blend with no bitterness. There's plenty of indoor seating, and although it was my first time here, it felt like I knew everyone at the counter. Super chill vibe--I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Korean burrito as a bowl

Zoftig is one of my favorite places to get takeout! They have fast service and their food is delicious. My favorites are the Korean burrito as a bowl and the karaage chicken bowl. These two have asian flavors with pickled veggies and a Generous portion of meat. I definitely recommend!

Tofu banh mi

AUG2025 We came by a few times due to proximity of where we were at. Service at the counter was always really friendly and helped with any questions that we had. We had gotten different things to try over the course. A tofu banh mi, cheeseburger, breakfast wrap w/ assorted veggies, scramble with assorted veggies, and a lemon cheesecake of course. Everything tasted fresh and I always like the amount of veggies that comes with the breakfast items. One thing we'd come across is items or how it's made getting mixed up on that end. My partner liked the cheeseburger, the grilled onions and brioche bun were a nice touch. I wasn't a fan of the banh mi though. Imbalanced for bites, many of the ingredients were piled into a pocket on the side and lettuce took up the rest of the space. I was hoping for pickling as well but flavorwise nothing really stood out either. Good clean option, will definitely be by again to try out the falafel wrap.

The best!

Zoftig never disappoints. We'd always chose it for lunch when I worked in the dental office a few years ago. And I still go there to this day. My husband absolutely loves the Korean burrito. The hamburger and fried chicken sandwich are amazing. But the poke bowl. Wow. That poke bowl is the best one I've ever had. Every time I go, I order that because it's so good I don't want to pass it up. Also I went in with my 2yo a few weeks ago for a poke bowl and I ordered her the grilled cheese for kids which was so yummy. We sat I ln there to eat and They also have lots of coloring books and crayons for the kids. It was great!!! Love everything about this place. Almost forgot to rave about the desserts and pastry's. The coconut macaroon is absolutely insane. Yummmm. Also last time I went, they had a lemon tiramisu and it was one of the best deserts I've ever had. Don't sleep on Zoftig this place is phenomenal!!!!

My favorite thus far is the K-town (spicy Korean style) fried chicken sandwich and fries. Their fries are really good.

Such a quaint little spot that feels homey and local. To start I ordered the strawberry hibiscus shrub soda and my oh my, I think I've rekindled my obsession with shrub sodas. Perfectly sweet, tarte, and refreshing. We ordered the house focaccia and shishito peppers to start and both nailed the spot. The focaccia was fluffy, flavorful, and not too dense. And the shishitos had a DELISH red sauce that I was scooping up with every bite. I ordered the gnocchi, which came with fresh tomatoes and was cooked to a really nice texture. My friend ordered the salmon dish and although she said it was on the smaller side she was hoping for, the flavors were well worth it. Perfect spot for a date night, and they have an outside patio as well!

This place had always been wildly pretentious and catered to the hipsters, but in the beginning, their food was actually fantastic. My partner received a gift certificate from a colleague, so I thought we'd try again, and came for brunch. My hope was that the place had returned to the portions and quality of when they first opened, which were proportionate to the cost. Unfortunately, it has declined even further since the octopus incident. We ordered the baby pancake and the burger. The portions were spectacularly small for the pricepoint, and everything tasted underwhelming. The baby pancake was more of an over done, miniscule crepe, and the medium rare burger we ordered was well done, dry, and tiny. There is a process of waiting outside and ordering, which is confusing, unwelcoming, and downright strange. There is a reason that no other restaurants do this. Please knock it off. The service was just ok, and no one came to check on us after our mediocre food was served. Fortunately, all this experience cost us was the tip, and time we could have spent eating something substantial and leaving feeling full. Meh. It's time to give up on this place and their overpriced, overhyped, substandard hipster fodder. Two stars because the herbed fries were nice.

From the very beginning, Sammy, the event coordinator, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so helpful in choosing the perfect area for our group and guiding me through the menu options. She was incredibly accommodating and made the entire planning process so easy and stress-free. One of the things that meant so much to me was that Sammy allowed me to drop off all of my decorations ahead of time and even took the time to set everything out for us--including the table decorations and welcome sign. That extra effort truly went above and beyond and made the evening feel so special. Our server, Ben, was fantastic as well. He was attentive to everyone throughout the evening, making sure everyone had their food and drinks and that everything was taken care of. He was also very personable and helped make the night even more enjoyable for our family and guests. Waterhawk was the perfect place for such an important family celebration. The combination of the beautiful setting, wonderful staff, and exceptional service made our son's rehearsal dinner a night we will always remember. The bathrooms are very clean and charmed with audio birds of the rainforest. We ordered spinach dip, wings and a falafel burger with garlic fries well done. My hubby had 2 wings and left the rest of the wings. Patio is pet friendly. Great view. Our waitress was sweet. The food didn't do it for hubby and me.

The waitress was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and cleared up any questions we had. The food is so delicious. We ordered Parmesan cheese and ancho French fries, queso fundido, and chicken bacon pesto pizza. The fries were so crisp and quite seasoned. Will say they are a go to option whenever I come back. It's nice to find places that serve crispy fries like that. Crispy on the outside, nice and soft inside. It was quite a treat. Queso fundido was a great option because we had a hankering for nachos and this definitely filled the cravings. If you're someone that maybe doesn't do onions, just make sure to ask for no onions. Luckily I'm able to do onions, but you never know if someone has a preference. The cheese and chorizo combo was amazing, and the best part it wasn't greasy or fatty from the cheese. It just looked so clean. The star of the show had to be the chicken bacon pesto pizza. I love a good pizza but my favorite are the out of the ordinary toppings and sauces. They had other amazing options but it's not everyday I can try a chicken bacon pesto pizza. This was a homerun and a half. I definitely recommend this pizza to anyone who wants to try an out of the ordinary combo. The pizza was cooked to perfection and it was fluffy. The cheese was all over the place because, I had an amazing cheese pull! If you're one for cheese pulls, this one's got your number. All in all an amazing experience. I'll come back here again

I've been coming to Farmstead over the years and it was one of my favorite recommendations for those visiting St. Helena. I've sent friends, family and out-of-town visitors here, often raving about how good it was. So when I took my immediate family to Farmstead a few weeks ago, I made a reservation, drove over 40+ minutes from the southern part of Napa Valley and genuinely looked forward to returning. Making reservation online was easy, parking is available (although it can feel like a competitive sport once everyone decides to arrive at the same time), the covered outdoor seating remains lovely, the barn transformed to a dining room with its high ceilings is still a beautiful space and the bathrooms were clean. Unfortunately, the food was simply didn't live up to what I remembered. We started with the cheddar biscuits with honey butter. I expected warm, tender biscuits. Instead each of the biscuits were surprisingly, almost as if they've been left in the oven a few minutes too long. The honey butter tried its best to salvage the situation, but was unsuccessful. We also ordered the fried eggplant which skipped right past golden brown and headed directly into "left in the fryer during a staff meeting" territory. For entrees, two of us ordered the steak frites. The cut of the day was a flank steak and we both ordered medium rare. Mine arrive firmly in the medium-well territory. It's disappointing when your steak lands two doneness levels above what you requested. A friend ordered the grass-fed cheeseburger medium. It also came out well beyond that point, dry and crumbly rather than juicy. He was expecting a burger. What showed up as something closer to a semi-palatable hockey puck. The wood-grilled heritage pork chop was probably the strongest dish at the table. At $52, however, we were expecting something memorable. It was fine. Perfectly acceptable. But "perfectly acceptable" isn't exactly the reaction you're hoping for at that price point. Dessert was a small bowl of stracciatella gelato. That's it. No wafer, no cookie, waffle cone shard, no sprig of mint or garnishment to make it feel finished. I can see wanting to accommodate dietary restriction like those who are gluten-free, but it would have been nice to have an optional accompaniment. We kept the drinks simple. Service was fine. Total bill came out to be about $330 for lunch with tip. What stood out wasn't the cost, but the lack of excitement or something being memorable. You're dining at a popular restaurant in Napa Valley, you're going to be paying a premium. At our table, nobody was particularly excited about the meal they had or interested in taking home any leftovers. Maybe it was an off day. Maybe nostalgia elevated my memories beyond reality. Whatever the reason, this experience felt very different from the Farmstead I've enthusiastically recommended over the years. The restaurant was very busy with a steady stream of people coming through the entire time while we were there, so clearly plenty of diners continue to enjoy it. But based on this visit, I don't see myself recommending it the way I once did. I'm just one customer. Still, this was a disappointing return to what had long been one of my favorites in St. Helena.
