Today was my first visit to Zoftig Eatery and it certainly won't be my last! I really had no idea that there would be so many interesting options here and they all sounded so good! I came here to try their breakfast sandwich, which definitely did not disappoint. I also took home a couple of desserts for later! The service here is really great! The person who helped us when we arrived gave us some great suggestions! I really like the seating here and it feels nice and spacious. The art on the walls adds a nice touch as well! The breakfast sandwich has fried eggs and white cheddar cheese on an English Muffin. First I love the way they fry the eggs. Crispy, but still with a runny yoke. The cheese is melted nicely into this really yummy English muffin that was toasted really nicely. I also added bacon and avocado, which was a delicious touch. It's a very rich, fatty sandwich, so I asked for some hot sauce plus it's served with a side of pickles which helps to cut the richness as well. I took a few desserts home to try later, and I'm glad I did! The gluten free carrot cake is excellent. Very buttery and the texture is amazing. Not very sweet, but that may be what some people like. The gluten free lemon cheesecake had a great flavor and is dense like a NY style cheesecake. Again, also not very sweet, but delicious nonetheless. The Flan was a 10/10 in flavor and sweetness, but a 6/10 in texture. A little too dense for my liking. Overall, I love this place and will be back soon! read more

It had been a few years since my last visit -- long enough that I'd apparently missed an entire menu renaissance. Zoftig has expanded into full-blown Choose Your Own Adventure territory: Build Your Own salads, sandwiches, wraps, and bowls, plus a gluten-free dessert lineup that practically begs you to pretend you're being healthy right up until the very end. I went with the Thai yellow curry over brown rice with chicken, which was the kind of meal that makes you feel like a responsible adult who has their life together. It was delicious! My dining companion's Ahi Poke bowl was equally impressive, and the roasted sweet potato salad was so good it briefly made me question my life choices up to that point. The chicken -- whether in a salad or a bowl -- was tender, flavorful, and absolutely not what I expected from a place with this many kale options. A word to the wise: show up at noon and you will be humbled. This spot is enormously popular with locals and the lunch-break crowd, and the line will remind you that good food attracts a crowd whether you like it or not. Fortunately, the staff is genuinely warm, happy to make recommendations, and will answer your menu questions without making you feel like you're holding up the line -- even when you absolutely are. My Yelp friends wrote such glowing reviews, I had to give this place a try. We stopped in at 2:00 hoping it wouldn't be quite so busy, but guess what... all the tables were full except for two inside (and they have quite a few tables inside!). They do have four tables outside but they were taken as well. You head to the right around the counter to see the posted menu. They take your order and payment and you go sit down with a number. Our food came after a very short wait so if you're needing a quick bite, this is the place. Lots of take-out orders were going out the door too. Korean Burrito - write ups on this item were all so complimentary so we had to order it. And they were indeed accurate. It's a hearty burrito with beef, brown rice, carrot/daikon slivers, and avocado. Such incredible flavors all blended together. It has a bit of a kick, which we loved. Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich (K-Town) - chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They put this chicken sandwich together with some imagination but it works! It also has a bit of a kick. It was a satisfying sandwich that you have to eat quickly because something makes it moist and mine started to fall apart near the end. Everything tasted fresh and flavors are unique and authentic. We would definitely order these two items again, however, they have many other interesting menu items we are excited to try so we'll be torn next time. My wife and I went for lunch today..Ordered two Shrimp Louie's..they were good, but the dressing must have been rationed since we each got one little cup for a salad that size..I ordered a glass of Iced Tea when we ordered..didn't get it when we paid..found a vacant table that had two used glasses and soiled napkins... The staff were all friendly and amazing. The food was delicious. We stopped in because of Guy Fieri, on our way to Washington from Arizona. My husband had the cheeseburger which he said was delicious. I had the grilled corn salad with extra cabbage instead of mixed greens, added grilled chicken. If I could give the breakfast sandwich 10 stars, I would--it's that good. I added bacon and avocado, and I can honestly say I enjoyed every bite. Don't overthink it--just order it. First off, I love Zoftig. Have had many good meals here. But I had a HUGE disappointment the other day that I want to share because it was so unfortunate imho. My favorite dish of theirs the last few months has been the Salt and Pepper Squid Salad, so delicious! It showed on the restaurant menu board as gluten-free which thrilled me because finding gf calamari has been rare. I noticed I didn't feel great the second day but thought it was because I was using the leftover salad dressing and wondered if there was an ingredient that didn't sit well (so I stopped eating the dressing leftovers). Yesterday I went in and saw that the Squid Salad had the gf icon painted over on the menu (sadly only after ordering). I asked and they explained they use wheat flour batter on the squid (like that was obvious and I was asking a dumb question, they weren't the friendliest about it tbh). WHAT??? (I assumed if was a gf flour, like rice, all this time.) How did they not realize that wheat contains gluten??? They have other gf items on their menu so they seemed savvy. (BTW the online menu STILL shows the Squid Salad as gf as of my writing this.) I'm so bummed that they don't use a gf flour OR that they didn't realize this at the time they created the new menu item months ago and advertised it as gluten-free. What happened??? I'm very fortunate I'm only gluten-intolerant and not Celiac and hope no one was seriously adversely affected. I hope I get over it but right now my trust is bruised. read more

AUG2025 We came by a few times due to proximity of where we were at. Service at the counter was always really friendly and helped with any questions that we had. We had gotten different things to try over the course. A tofu banh mi, cheeseburger, breakfast wrap w/ assorted veggies, scramble with assorted veggies, and a lemon cheesecake of course. Everything tasted fresh and I always like the amount of veggies that comes with the breakfast items. One thing we'd come across is items or how it's made getting mixed up on that end. My partner liked the cheeseburger, the grilled onions and brioche bun were a nice touch. I wasn't a fan of the banh mi though. Imbalanced for bites, many of the ingredients were piled into a pocket on the side and lettuce took up the rest of the space. I was hoping for pickling as well but flavorwise nothing really stood out either. Good clean option, will definitely be by again to try out the falafel wrap. read more

Zoftig never disappoints. We'd always chose it for lunch when I worked in the dental office a few years ago. And I still go there to this day. My husband absolutely loves the Korean burrito. The hamburger and fried chicken sandwich are amazing. But the poke bowl. Wow. That poke bowl is the best one I've ever had. Every time I go, I order that because it's so good I don't want to pass it up. Also I went in with my 2yo a few weeks ago for a poke bowl and I ordered her the grilled cheese for kids which was so yummy. We sat I ln there to eat and They also have lots of coloring books and crayons for the kids. It was great!!! Love everything about this place. Almost forgot to rave about the desserts and pastry's. I just made my third visit to the ironically named restaurant. (Ironic in that it's menu is healthy and I have yet to see a Rubenesque patron or staff member.) It is the only sandwich shop in Santa Rosa in which I feel compelled to eat. My first visit started through a YELP! search where some reviewers were highly impressed with the Korean BBQ Burrito. From the first bite to the last, I was enraptured. I heartedly agreed with their reviews. Every bite was delicious and the blend of ingredients were perfectly balanced with a hint of sweet and sour from the kimchi, carrot and daikon and very subtle heat from the jalapenos. On the second trip, I brought my wife with me. We had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich which was impressively delicious. It comes with a side of pickles that paired perfectly with the sandwich. The flavor of a pickle can be overbearing, but these weren't. They added another layer kicking the sandwich up a level. We also had the Porchetta sandwich. It was equally as delectable. On our next visit, I was craving the Korean BBQ, plus I had hyped it to my wife, so I had to order it again to let her try it. She loved it. My wife surprised me by ordering the Israeli Sabich Salad. We aren't fans of olives for the same reason I don't usually put pickles on a sandwich; the flavors are usually overbearing and can easily overtake the flavors of a dish. However in this case, Zoftig's olives like their pickles, have a much mellower flavor than their counterparts and lifted the salad rather than ruining it as olives do. The salad was delightful. I highly recommend Zoftig. As I write, I am craving their food and I know I will visit the restaurant again when in town. read more

Shrimp taco was ordered for me and is one of the worst things I've ever eaten. Tastes like the chef lost a bet and on a dare had to create a shrimp taco with ingredients no one has ever once considered mixing with shrimp--or tacos. The mere existence of this abomination on the menu alone is proof that the owners of this establishment have never once had a taste of shrimp in their life. My mom and I split a salad and sandwich. I had the fresh squeezed lemonade which is an instant win in my book when lemonade tastes that fresh at a restaurant. The Eatery was adorable inside, and we enjoyed reading our books for a bit at our table. Inviting & warm! The lady who took our order at the counter was very sweet. We both loved the turkey sandwich! Went here today to grab food for a Dr office. I got the corn salad, add chicken. The salad was great (per usual from this place!) however the chicken that I added was disgusting!! It was thoroughly cooked, but really yucky! Like rubbery, I had to toss all of it out except for a couple bites. But this is very unusual for this place, as it normally 5 stars! I was back in Santa Rosa and had to check off Zoftig Eatery from the Triple D list. We usually order what Guy Fieri had on his show to validate his seal of approval. In this case, we ordered the Korean BBQ Burrito and the Maccabi Bowl; then added the Poke' Bowl & the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich (K-Town Style). Everything was so good that we literally "cleaned" our plates! Guy F. was spot on those two dishes, that Maccabi Bowl was the bomb (you don't even have to be vegetarian to not enjoy this dish)! What I love about Zoftig Eatery is how fresh the vegetables are in their dishes and the variety of fusions on their menu. Spacious place, friendly staff, lots of parking too. Found this place as my family and I are traveling north for a vacation. This was a cute spot that had fresh healthier options for a quick meal to eat. The cashier was super chill and nice, which i always appreciate when I'm going out to eat. I ended up trying their mushroom and tofu banh mi which was fresh and had a nice balance to it. They also carried different cookies and cakes, which we ended up getting 2 of their cakes - the carrots cake and lemon tiramisu. In my opinion, they both tasted very smooth and not overly sugary. If you like falafel you need to try the Maccabi bowl. It's one of my favorites! The falafel is nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It's great when you want something light. A truly excellent weekday eatery with something for every taste. We've enjoyed their hearty breakfast sandwiches and absolutely love the specialty turkey sandwich for lunch. They also offer catering services, and I've been begging my work to get Zoftig for us! It's tucked into a small shopping center on Montgomery and Second St by Memorial Hospital.
