We did an internet search for shuttle services in LA and only Zippy seemed to get consistently good reviews. I called Zippy and Ken returned my call, as promised, within 30 minutes. We booked Zippy for several trips during our visit to LA, including drop offs and pick ups at a private residence, airport, hotel, and pier. We even had to make a last minute change when our flight was moved up and Ken couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. The change resulted in the change of one pick up and the addition of another to our itenerary. He did it all for us at no charge because the flight change was out of our control. In addition, I was texted the drivers' name, cell number, and van number so I would have the information when we landed. As it turned out I didn't need it because the driver called us! We were still on the tarmac when he called and said 'I see your plane has landed.' Wow! What service that is. We called him back as soon as we had claimed our luggage and he pulled right up and loaded us in. Zippy was always on time or slightly EARLY and was very accommodating and respectful of one guest's disability. We found Zippy to be affordable and the service and reliability was well-worth every penny. Ken, George, and Claudio were wonderful and really made our trip (part business and part vacation) absolutely worry free. We enjoyed the freeway conversation as George and Claudio told stories about the city and pointed out sites and places along the way. I would absolutely contact Zippy again without hesitation and have recommended them to family and friends living in the LA area should they or other visitors need reliable, friendly, and affordable shuttle service. Thanks, Ken! :) read more

I called Zippy Shuttle service's 800 number to arrange for transportation from the LA Airport to the Sheraton Hotel in Ontario and received a call back in about 15 minutes. The gentleman that called me back (Ken) was very helpful and courteous. He gave me pricing information for his service and even suggested alternatives should I decide that I wanted to try a less expensive ride (wow... not many would be kind enough to do that!). In the end I decided to pay the $18 difference to use Zippy for an exclusive ride to my destination. On the day of my travel, and much to my dismay, I ran into weather delays and then mechanical problems. I called Zippy after missing each of my 3 different connecting flights and each time Ken called me back within 10 minutes. Each time he was very reassuring and when I FINALLY reached the LA airport (6 hours later than originally scheduled) and called him to let him know I had arrived, he was there within about 5 minutes to pick me up. I am so thankful that there is a service available like Zippy Shuttle and would not even consider using anyone else should I ever find myself needing transportation in LA again. read more

We booked ZIppy to take us from LAX to our hotel close to Universal City a couple of weeks before we arrived in the US from the UK. He replied very quickly to my original email and quoted $130 for the round trip. There were 3 of us plus luggage. This is a bit more expensive than the airport shuttle services but we were concerned about their reliability and as it was our first time in LA we want one thing less to worry about. I rang on arrival at LAX and the Zippy van arrived within 5 minutes. A word of warning this isn't your standard airport shuttle service, this is a mini tour in itself and was brilliant. When we told him it was our first trip to LA rather than use the clogged up freeway he took us on the city streets and gave us a very interesting tour of the city sites on route to the hotel. He did exactly the same on the way back and both trips flew by. The first thing he did when we got in the bus was offer ice cold water on both trips and arrived bang on time to pick us up at the hotel or our return to LAX. I would certainly recommend Zippy and was pleased we used his service. Thanks Zippy read more

My family and I used zippy shuttle from 5/8/15 to 5/17/15 for our disney vacation . We had a party of 9 and needed a booster seat for one of our children which they gladly provided. All of our phone calls and emails were answered immediately.( We called other places and was always dealing with an automated teller) not here. The prices we were given was the least expensive out of all. If you need to be driven around I would highly recommend them. Our driver was Ming ,he was there 15 minutes early every time. Even when we were getting out of the parks at closing time and was a little late to the pick up point. He always greeted us with a smile. 1. LAX to Anaheim 2. Anaheim to seaworld 3. Seaworld to Anaheim 4. Anahiem to Universal studios 5. Universal studios to Anaheim 6. Anaheim to Bass Pro (Rancho Cucamonga) 7. Bass Pro to Anaheim 8. Anaheim to LAX Everything went well, from the first pick up till our last drop off. If you are dreading the drive and rush hour traffic this is the service you want. We will be using Zippy Shuttle again. Aloha, from Hana,HI read more

After reading many positive reviews for Zippy Shuttle, I emailed them for a quote. We are a family of 5, I was looking for a private shuttle from LAX to Burbank roundtrip. I received a very prompt email response. I am very picky and definitely did my research prior to booking Zippy Shuttle. Many of the other shuttle companies have very mixed reviews. After we arrived at LAX and retrieved our luggage, I called Zippy Shuttle to confirm we were ready to be picked up. Ken (the owner) arrived in less than 2 minutes. He was so friendly and actually apologized for our 2 minute wait!!! He greeted us and helped us load our luggage into his van. His van was very clean, he even offered us bottled water. Our ride was very pleasant, we talked with Ken the entire trip. Our return trip back to LAX was just as pleasant. Ken is prompt with pickup, his service is definitely #1. Ken is very friendly, I would definitely recommend Zippy Shuttle to everyone!!! read more

We used Zippy Shuttle to go to and from LAX in November. The cost is a little more than what you would pay for a competitor but it is worth the personal attention you will receive (if you happen to get Ken as your driver). On our way to the airport, we had a different driver (I don't remember what his name was). He was prompt in calling us to let us know he was going to be late, because it was raining that day and there had been an accident. Amazingly, he still got us to the airport on time. On our way back, we were picked up by Ken who was very friendly. It was a great relief not to have to drive around the airport searching for other passengers when all we wanted to do was go home. It was like having a private one-on-one service and for that, I'd gladly pay a bit extra. I would definitely use Zippy Shuttle again. read more

It is rare these days to find the exceptional customer service provided to us by Zipple Shuttle. We hired Zippy for our wedding and reception, to shuttle our guests from the restaurant, where the reception would be held, to the wedding ceremony in our little community and back to the restaurant. Our guests were so appreciative that this service was provided, and they did not have to search for guest parking spaces which is very limited in our community. Our guests who took advantage of Zippy Shuttle were just as impressed with Ken and the friendly, professional, top notch service as we were. In fact, we asked Ken to join us at the reception, which he did. We can't speak highly enough for Ken and Zippy Shuttle. We wouldn't recommend anyone else. Our Family just went to Disneyland for a family Reunion we had 29 people to move from LAX to our Hotel and then back again. Ken made our experience completely painless and easy. We had 13 Adults, 13 Children over 2 and 3 infants 2 and younger. We had three different flight times coming and going and a item left behind that Zippy quickly brought back before we checked in for our flight home. We were extremely impressed. We will recommend Zippy and anyone who asks and definitely use them again if we're in that area. We also had great conversation in Kens van both trips. read more

Ken's quotes were prompt and clear and the 2 services provided (1. Santa Monica to Anaheim & 2. Anaheim to LAX) were provided by professional and timely drivers. Boosters were provided and included in the cost (as was gratuity - thank goodness, tipping is hard work when you're not used to it). The 5th star is awarded as we were ready for our second transit 1/2 hour early and the driver was in the area so he came straight around so we didn't have to wait on the footpath with 2 tired kids after a Disney day. Thanks Ken (and drivers). Highly recommend! read more

We were looking for an alternate (to the 2 we knew) Shuttle Service and decided to try Zippy. We were delighted to get an immediate response to our inquiry and they lived up to everything they promised. They arrived ahead of the scheduled pick-up time, delivered us to our destination in less time than we had expected and the driver, San, was a delight to be with. We called the office when our ship returned, were told that they would pick us up in 10 to 15 minutes and arrived in 12. We definitely will use Zippy again. read more

After researching a half dozen shuttle services for the Port of L.A. we were impressed with the overall reviews we read for Zippy Shuttle so we booked it for our NCL cruise that we took. He was very reasonable (for a group of 8 like we were), very professional, punctual (he arrived early both times), and a very honest and sincere person. He was also very entertaining so the time on the 405 flew by in both directions. We would DEFINITELY use him again and HIGHLY recommend his service! read more

Such great service! One of the main reasons we booked with Zippy Shuttle was that we were traveling with a larger group and with twin girls that needed car seats and we did not want to have to hull the big heavy seats for our trip to Disneyland. Our driver was great, always on time and very friendly. He even offered to let us stop to pick-up lunch at In-N-Out after he heard us mention that we were craving some. We will definitely book again and recommend to family and friends. read more

i too was abandoned by a "red" shuttle company. A nice man suggested I called the "red" toll fee number. I did and I was encountered by a rude dispatcher that didn't offer any help. I returned to the shuttle stop. The nice guy must have known how "red" treats their customers because he happily came to my rescue. That's how I met Claudio and zippy shuttle. NIce people,& fair rates. I have to fly to NYC tomorrow and guess who I called... Not Red. Get Zippy with it ! read more

Definitely use Zippy. I called Zippy based on Yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did. My daughter's first time traveling alone and I was very nervous. Ken was the greatest! He made sure she was all set before leaving her at LAX. He even helped her get organized and get her bags inside.Great communications. He is very professional and easy to contact and a great value. I can't say enough. After such a great experience I wouldn't use anyone else! Exceptional service! read more

We used Zippy shuttle for our Anaheim to Las Vegas trip, and it was excellent. Ken was just about the nicest person we have ever met. He was very helpful, courteous, and was always ready to go out of his way for us. I highly recommend Zippy Shuttle. They respond to e-mails right away and they really give you your money's worth. We are sure to contact them if ever we will be needing transportation services again. read more

I found "Zippy Shuttle" on the internet, as we recently flew to L.A. from Tampa for a cruise. I made all the arrangements on the phone with Kenny (the owner) and couldn't have been happier with the wonderful service, congenial manner and courteous service. Zippy's prices are the best and their service and reliablity is beyond compare. I highly recommend them to everyone. Sincerely, Judi Zimmerman read more

Zippy Shuttle is the BEST! Ken, the owner, called my cell phone to confirm that I had arrived, met me at the luggage pick up area and helped carry my bags to his van which was parked nearby. He is very friendly and helpful. His van is very clean and looks new. I will definitely use Zippy Shuttle again when the next time I come to Burbank / LA. Jamie read more

Ken was pleasant and helpful as can be. I texted him that our flight was going to arrive a half hour early from Maui, and he was there early and picked us up in a few minutes on the curb. We had a very pleasant chat during the drive from LAX to the OC. He is also a good driver! 5 Stars. We will use him again and again. read more

Zippy Shuttle accomodated our group of 18 from LAX to the cruise port in San Pedro and back. The service simply could not have been better--faster, cheaper, friendlier. You won't regret choosing Zippy. read more
