Unfortunately this wasn't for a fun occasion, but even in our deepest grief, Desert Star was top notch the whole time! They transported our family to our fathers funeral, burial, and back home. For 5 hours, the price was very reasonable. The big black bus was so comfortable, there were cold waters and sodas, and the tv had a bunch of options for streaming. We were so excited and touched to see how beautifully they decorated the ride for us, pink sweethearts! Desert star was amazing with coordinating the time and multiple pick up spots to ensure a genuine surprise. We took the limo/party bus down to Beverly Hills for a fantastic dinner. A big thank you to our driver who got us there safely and on time for our reservations and who also allowed a few pit stops along the way. The Sprinter fits 10 adults comfortably and is a great option for tall people like my husband & I. It was also nice not having to crouch down to get into a lower vehicle. I rented a limo for my boys for their high school prom and Ezra was very professional and polite! The rate was reasonable and he said this was the last limo available because of all the proms. This was 3 weeks before prom. The driver he sent that evening was very professional and polite as well! And he was at our house exactly at 5pm as requested, as the boys were excited for their first limo ride on this special occasion. The driver (I wish I could remember his name) offered the kids several places he could take them for pictures. And he offered to take the group pictures! Awesome guy! The kids had a great time in the limo as it was stocked with soda, water, and sparkling cider with glasses for toasting and there School color balloons! Definitely recommend this limo service! So we decided to surprise our team for our yearly Christmas party by having a stretch Hummer pick them up and whisk them away to Medieval Times. We picked Desert Star after doing a lot of looking around. Their price was one of the best we got and my husband actually went down and looked at the vehicle before committing which they were more than happy to let him do. This was just the beginning of how accommodating they were willing to be. First off, the limo was in great shape. Not a scratch inside or out, clean, everything worked from the CD player to the lights to the TV and the bar was stocked with vodka, rum, sodas and water. We were permitted to bring appetizers on board and on top of that we asked if we could have a custom door magnet printed up so people would know there was a Christmas party taking place inside which they allowed, no questions asked. They said there was a maximum of 17 people but we had a whole back row that was empty. The thing is HUGE. Mike, our driver was awesome! Lets be honest. Your limo driver is not just your "driver". He's your host. He had to find a bathroom for us midway to the venue and he totally worked it out. He made a Starbucks stop too. Then, this poor guy ended up baby sitting one of our party who had a little too much to drink while everybody else went to dinner. He was like "It's cool. I've been doing this 11 years. I've seen everything. Go have fun!" He had a commitment to make sure that our team had fun and our event went well for us. The limo was probably the best part of the whole night. We were in the car for over two hours each way and you don't even notice you're driving. Really, the party started as soon as we stepped inside. Worth every penny. Gave Mike a 25% tip. read more

Renting from them was the best! It made the night for my sister surprise bachelorette party I through her! You could only pick to drinks to have out of vodka, rum, Gen, whiskey, and scotch I think And they had glass wear and sodas You could bring more drinks as well. No food allowed. Also there's a 200.00 fine if you throw up but they give you baggies so your covered! There's crazy lights and you could listen to the music they have or plug your phone into the aux cord. It was so nice knowing we didn't have to worry about driving and all our guest were together and safe! Find another driver service this one is not reliable. There is not many in our area and they had good reviews online. I guess they must have friends that don't mind lying to give them 5 stars that they don't deserve. We tried them 2x so this is not just a one time bad experience. The first time they got my wife and 3 children to lax 30 minutes before their flight boarded. The driver could'nt be bothered to help my wife with any of the bags, by herself with 3 kids all 10 and under. So she had to run through the airport and barely made her flight. We paid for both ways over $700 trip that time and when she landed back in lax to be picked up and brought back home the driver had her waiting for 45 minutes with our 3 kids and all their bags at departure. Now I was very hesitant to re-book, but again few options and I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I just had a ride for myself down to airport booked and had to reschedule my flight due to family emergency. I called that night and spoke to owner, he told me to call back in the morning to reschedule. No mention of this being an issue. I called back and spoke to a woman who informed me that they would not be refunding, or transferring any of that prepaid trip I had to reschedule and I would have to pay for a whole new trip at this point. I inquired if there was a transfer fee, I could pay to not just lose my whole prepaid trip. She said no. They were unwilling to work with me at all. So as a fellow business man, it's sad to see a business be so greedy and shady which only hinders future business. I truly hope that under $300 trip was worth never having future business from myself or any family or friends who all travel monthly and require drivers often. Ha! Good luck to you. read more

Desert Star is by far one of the best limo services I have ever used! Our night was dinner and wine tasting at San Antonio winery in LA for my birthday. Our driver was exactly on time, and what a nice surprise to see balloons on the floor and a cute little banner wishing me happy birthday. Although we stuck to wine, it came with 2 large decanters of liquor and sodas and water. We initially booked the limo for 4hours but had so much fun we kept it another 2. Our driver was really cool and took care of whatever we needed, and didn't bat an eyelash about staying out later than anticipated. Definitely my go to limo company from now on!!!!!
