This is the most uncommunicative customer service I've ever experienced from a company. My family has been trying to get Ziply Fiber installed since October 2024, but at the end of January 2025 nothing has yet to be installed. We have scheduled and rescheduled at least four times for an installation agent to come to my home, only to have no one show up each time, with absolutely no communication. I have reached out to ziply fiber customer service on at least ten (10) separate occasions to find out the status of the installation technician or why the technician never arrived to my home for the installation. Many times the text customer service agents will say things such as 'rest assured we promise you an tech will be at your home today' , 'the tech must be running late, please try and reach out to us again if they do not arrive two (2) hours after there scheduled appointment time.' When I follow up with Ziply fiber through a phone call after the tech never showed up, they respond with a canned message about how 'engineering needs to look into my line.' If Ziply fiber is unable to come to my home during the time scheduled time frame, it is their responsibility and courtesy to let me know. The customer service that I received from Ziply Fiber is unacceptable. This is sad as I heard good things about their actual service. read more

I have a large no soliciting sign on my front door, plus two no soliciting stickers on my doorbell, plus a no trespassing sign. Ashley came by on her electric scooter to promote the product. I said "No thank you, I have a no solicitation sign right here on my door." Oh, I'm not trying to sell you anything. I just wanted to ask you if you knew you have zipley fiber (whatever) in your neighborhood." I already had an encounter with your workers a few months earlier where they were rude to me. Please tell these Zipley people to cease and desist. They are frustrating. They put in the fiber cables in my neighbor's yard and I was there to hear them say the monthly cost was much more than originally quoted. read more

The WA State Attorney General should be investigating Ziply's deceptive billing practices. We received a Ziply statement dated December 25, 2024 on January 21, 2025, the day payment was due. So we can expect another $13.11 late payment fee. This is the second month in a row that this has occurred. Ziply has also conveniently eliminated a return envelope with the statement. The company is either hopelessly incompetent, or it is deliberately witholding statements to enrich itself with late payment fees, or both. Either way, an investigation and court-ordered correction is needed. read more

I'm on my 3rd location with Ziply and they've been excellent every single time! The cost/value proposition that they offer is excellent! Significantly less cost than Xfinity with significantly higher performance! What else can you ask for? Uptime - I've never had my Ziply service go down, even during a power outage that lasted an entire weekend my fiber service was up and running - kept my wifi online with battery backups. I pay for 1gbps service and I consistently get 1gbps speeds, it never slows down regardless of the time of day I'm using the internet. read more

Ziply has overcharged me multiple times and would not fix it. After the initial promotional year of $20/month the price went up to $45 which I could not afford so I called to cancel service. They offered a discount to $25/month if I continued service so I did, but only received one bill at that amount and then the price went up to $65/month. I called to ask them to change it and was told they were not able to so I asked to end service immediately. I was told I had already paid for the month so service would be disconnected on the 7th of the following month. I then received another bill and charge to my account so I called to ask why and was told that the bill at the end of the month pays for the previous month. My service ended yesterday and I just got a bill for $10 for a partial month of service saying my disconnect was today so I called again and they did say I don't owe it, but what a frustrating experience! read more

Was supposed to have new service installed at my address, went online had everything set up to be done and when the tech arrived he informed us that he couldn't do it because the company had forgot to install the mains down 1/2 of my street. Literally 500 ft from my house. There are only 4 houses in the missed area. Really forgot, my a@#. Then call customer service and they lie to you saying there was to many people on the line and couldnt install at my address. Someone called me to reschedule. Rescheduled for today (that makes almost a week with no internet). They gave me their typical four hour window. Just received a text that they're not coming. Gave me another four hour window for tomorrow. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After 4 experiences of them not showing up during the windows of time they scheduled, why should I believe they will tomorrow? Have switched to Ziply in August 2024 and everything worked until the tree fell down and broke all cables (it was a month after the bomb cyclone). the customer support has been terrible as we have no clue when we can get it fixed, they schedule a technician visit, and no one comes, we contact to check on progress and they cannot figure out whether technician is coming or not and what is going on. they don't care if customer's security system is down due to no internet, if customer is working from home and the internet is crucial for that. they don't offer any back up internet options like hot spots or anything to make up for 2+ weeks outage and cannot even send anyone to actually check what the problem is. the only thing they offered is bill adjustment for the time the service was down Update: we got a call from the technician an hour later after the review and sending the info to the email contact in the reply. 3 hrs later the service has been restored. read more

I have had my landline broken more in the past 2 months than working, i keep putting in repair tickets but there is 2 bad lines at the node i was told by the technician and it cost to much for ziply to fix so my phone will just keep going out, so i either cancel or just keep putting in repair tickets and hope they will fix it someday. I am not a customer. They are now installing Ziply in my neighborhood. A man came to the door last night while my family and i ate dinner to let us know there would be construction going on on our street. My wife had gone to the door to talk to him, and he told her that once the street level install had been done, they would be by the next week to run the line to our house and install the box on the side of the house. She said "no, we are happy with what we have. Don't install anything on our house". He insisted that it was just incase we wanted it later, it was no big deal, we are not being signed up for anything. She again said we don't want anything installed on our house. He didn't take no for an answer until I piped up and said directly "NO! You will not be installing anything on our house!" He said he would make a note of that and quickly left. I do not like being TOLD i am having something installed on my house by a private company that i have done no business with and have not contacted. They'll up their monthly prices then when you have an issue with their hardware you won't be able to get a hold of a customer service agent for over an hour. Then finally they'll set you up with a technician to come out to fix their equipment, the technician will never show up, and youll find out that technician called out sick that day because it's raining. read more

Horrible Customer Service!! Only tried their service for 1 day. It did not provide the Bandwidth I required so I canceled the service after only 1 day (Oct 30). When I canceled (Oct 31) I was informed that because I was inside the monthly billing cycle nothing was due and the equipment will be picked up. I NEVER received a bill. Yesterday (Dec 15) I received a notice for an outstanding balance. When I called today I was notified that my account has already been sent to a Collection Agency. When I request to speak to a customer service representative to complain I was told that because my account has been sent for collection that I could not be connected to anyone. Absolutely ridiculous way to do business. DO NOT TRY THIS PROVIDER!! I was not informed of the limited service available at time of ordering service and obviously their billing department is messed up!! read more

If I could literally give these people a zero I would from the very first time I started with them I had complete and utter annoying interruptions like just spinning spinning spinning on my TV constantly so I would have people out here over and over and over again and I mean at least a good 10 times to fix the problem come to find out they installed my wiring wrong so once I got the wiring fixed it became a little bit better and then I started making payments some of you might know what a u card is through your insurance which I was told that they accept it for almost 6 months I was making a $60 payment to them for them to turn around and tell me that they were going to disconnect me because I haven't made one payment but it took them 6 months to even inform me that I wasn't making payments so then I got behind do they want to take responsibility at all no credit for almost $600 that I then they decided to shut my internet off after constantly telling me that they would not shut it off because they understood that as long as I made a little payment over what was due each month that my internet would be okay yesterday they decided to shut me off on Thanksgiving because I didn't make the rest of the payment of $238 so I made $100 payment yesterday told I would have my internet back on I just had to wait till Friday which I did I waited all day today for a manager to call not a supervisor okay there is a difference no call I just got off the phone with them it wasn't even a manager it was a supervisor and it is a big difference and at the end of this back and forth back and forth and so much stress with these people they are not going to turn my internet back on yesterday if they would have just said hey if you finish the 138.00 will get you back on but that was never said so I waited all day with no internet being a single mom of three kids in this house already stressful enough because it's the Thanksgiving holiday you know and in the end of all of this they're not turning me back on I went shopping for Christmas presents with the little bit of money that I had if I would have just paid it yesterday they would have had my internet back on today but they didn't tell me that so now they're just 100% disconnecting me so pretty much if you want to ever think about going to ziply fiber I'm going to tell you right now do not ever ever ever ever ever I am not a person to do Yelps this is my first Yelp review I've ever done in my entire life I don't even know if I'm doing it right to be honest but here we are making my first job review because of how much stress and irritation simply fiber has added to my life is just insane read more

Ziply is faster than Comcast/Xfinity, in my case. I chose their slowest speed and it beat them easily. Install took under an hour, and was very simple. Best of all, my current system is still there in case I need to switch to it. I can keep that till I'm sure I'm satisfied, though I have to pay xfinity to do that. The first year of Ziply I get my 100/100 mb service (for roku, email, facebook, basic internet) for 10$ a month the first 3 months, then 20$ a month to end of year, at which time is goes up to 50$. But currently I'm paying 66$ a month with xfinity. Roku is my biggest bandwidth app, and it only uses about 10 mb. Ok so far it is very solid and definity faster than my old system. They told me they would give me 300/300 free for the first few months just to show me what they could do. It does make a difference in overall speed of the computer, even booting it up is faster. I haven't seen any slowdowns or herky-jerky pictures, nothing to complain about at all. Ziply uses your old landline connection, or at least they did for me. They found it, tested it and gave me some wire to run, since my computer was about 25 feet from the only phone jack, but they left me 2 pieces of wire and a splicer so it all worked out fine, I just ran it under the carpet, and you don't see it. That only took me about 30 minutes to set up the free Ziply modem and connect it to my router, plug in the modem and done. DONE. It just worked. I have my old gear sitting right next to it, not connected to the router, and I've been using it most of the day, while making coffee, going in and out of the house, came home and it's still running quietly and unobtrusively, almost like it's not there. My wifi works fine, both Roku's are humming away, even they are faster, too. I give this 5 star and would give 6 if I could. Bob Luhrs read more

We have Ziply Fiber for internet and phone. We had it switched over to fiber at the end of August of 2024 from DSL. Since then we have had 2 service interruptions which have let to no phone or internet. This last occurrence started on 10/10/24 when we lost phone and internet, checked with Ziply and they said there was an outage but there wasn't when no one else around had service still. Told to wait and see if the outage was fixed, never was. Got ahold of Ziply again to schedule a service call since all the troubleshooting couldn't resolve the issue. Got a service appointment on 10/14/24 for 1-5pm window and no one arrived, Tech then called around 6:30pm to let me know he wouldn't be able to come since he was out in Beaverton and we are in gaston. He would try to come out the following day to check things out. He did arrive by 5:20pm on 10/15/24. Upon inspecting the pole that the fiber was coming off of to our house, he informed us that Ziply took our port and gave it to our neighbor and now we don't have a port available for our phone/internet. We would need to have another one added by Ziply with a bucket truck. Called Ziply to speak to a supervisor to escalate things to get things resolved. They informed me they emailed someone in the offline department and I should hear from them within 24hrs. I still have not heard from anyone regarding coming out today to get things checked out or fixed as they stated it would be. We live in a rural area with no cell service and need to have a landline or internet. I have a child who I need to be able to communicate with others or her in the case of an emergency. I spoke with supervisor Kacey ID # 811194 from Ziply and haven't heard a word from her either. CAS-190241-M3D8K9.  Had the ticket remain open and another tech came out in 10/7/24 and determined another drop needed to be done with the engineering department. They stated it could take a week or weeks to get anything done, no one for reference to call or anything. I was told I would know eventually if or when I had service when it happened. What a joke! I filed a complaint with the utilities commission and haven't heard a word from Ziply on anything else.  As of 10/18/24 I have been able to reach out to another local Ziply employee who has done work out at our house before when it was originally changed over to fiber from DSL. He is looking into things with his supervisor to see how we can get another drop put in with the engineering department. read more

Worst internet service I have ever dealt with.. have the second level which is more expensive than what I had through xfinity and only 4 devices use it .. two I phones a laptop and a Roku fire stick.. billing keeps going up without warning and constantly having lagging and buffering issues when even just 3 items are using it.. this is such a rip off and the only reason I signed up was cuz it cape pre installed in my new build apartment but will be going back to xfinity after this next billing cycle cuz I'm sick of this. Very happy overall with the value proposition, only writing a review to warn people that this is *not* a tier-1 service, meaning if your internet needs are critical this is not the service for you. We had someone staying with us who was in hospice. We do not have cell service, so we rely on the internet for critical communication (phone calls and messages). In the year we have had the service, it only went out once, but when it did we were put in the queue and told it would take a couple of days to roll a truck (even though I explained the situation). They did come out and fix it as promised (equipment failure upstream of us) and it would have just been an inconvenience other than the situation at the time. If your situation is such that any downtime is critical, this is not the service for you (if you just want to watch "Ted Lasso" and play Skyrim, it rocks). *** Updating in reply to Ziply's reply. I think what they mean is that the timing doesn't depend on the "reason" for the outage, but rather the number of users impacted. I asked for clarification, but have not yet received a response. In most cases, they won't know the reason for the outage until they do a truck roll (once they have done basic verification that the on-prem equipment is operating correctly). In my case, I was told it was a bad jumper cable in their upstream equipment. read more

I would have given them 5 stars because the service and price are excellent and here's the but: 1. It took 8 months to get the permit to lay the fiber. Admittedly that could all be an issue with the government entities but since I live in a very populated area I believe other's got service much more quickly, I'm reserving final judgement on this aspect. 2. And I had to be persistent about the type of service I wanted (true fiber to the premises). The technicians are incredibly wonderful and empowered to satisfy the customer! They employ both "onshore" and "offshore" customer service employees and to date, I've not found offshore employees of any entity to be satisfactory but have predominantly found onshore ones to be excellent. read more

We only went with Ziply Fiber for our internet and landline because Xfinity/Comcast was going to have to pull cable to our new residence, which would have taken possibly a month, and Ziply was already "cabled" to the home. We've never been all that impressed with Ziply's service over the past two years (quite a few internet interruptions), but didn't have a big problem with them until November 2024, when their billing department was outsourced to a third party. (We pay Ziply $10 per month for a paper bill & its processing.) When I called their Customer "Care" number about not receiving our November 2024 paper bill, we were advised that the third-party provider just didn't mail it, and that Ziply apologized for that, but that Ziply was going to charge a late fee anyway for missing our Due Date by one day. Three phone calls later to Ziply's Customer "Care" department, we're still not receiving a paper bill and forced to get our statement via the internet and pay by phone --but still having to pay $10 for a paper bill + processing. So, as we stated in our last phone conversation with Ziply, we're fed up with them and are going to go back to Xfinity. We placed our order with Xfinity yesterday afternoon for internet + landline with paper billing. This morning we received a phone call from a Ziply representative who actually ranted about the fact that we chose to keep our landline phone number when we transfer to Xfinity, which apparently causes major problems for Ziply. After going back and forth with this rep for 15 minutes, we told her we were ending the phone call and didn't care what Ziply does with our service -- we just want to get rid of them. read more

I do not appreciate the equipment being used by Ziply digging up my lawn next to the road as they install the underground cable. Furthermore, they will not fix the horrible ground that they messed up. In response to your comment that it will be repaired: When you dug a hole with a tractor, and you parked the tractor for the afternoon on my property not near the hole you dug, the grass near the road was ripped out. The hole was not even there. That's not courteous at all. If you repair it, plant new grass. I'll do it myself, because frankly if this is how Ziply operates, I don't know if I want to change from Comcast. read more

internet service was good until it wasn't, which was always key times of the day. They seem to be sending some sort of reset signal to my router which disconnects it and requires a reboot. I tried 3 different routers thinking my hardware was the problem. In addition to this, contacting and using support? forget it. I had reported the same issue 3 times and asked for a support ticket to be generated so I wouldn't have to have the same conversation again when it reoccurred. No one would, and when I would call, there would be no record of the problem. When I decided to cancel, I tried the online chat. I requested it canceled to the first attendant, and then she hung up and another picked up. So i requested again. She wouldn't respond at all. So I tried calling their 866 number to cancel and got "voice assistance in your area is not available". What? So back to online chat I go. The 3rd person actually managed to cancel my account. The other thing, They will sign you up at a price, and that price will creep up without any notice at all. So, when it was a good value to begin with, the pricing soon outran the return. I actually just switched to T-Mobile. I get near the same bandwidth at under 1/2 of the cost. So long Ziply! read more

Unfortunately I cannot leave less than 1 star. The customer service is horrible, and the way I was treat was deplorable. I had this installed less than 48 hours ago and within the first 24 hours, the fiber internet goes out. I contact their tech support who run through a barrage of tier 1 simple support that takes over an hour ( is it turned on? etc. ) after getting through all of this, they tell me that they cant have anyone out until the next day because the techs only work till 5pm. While i understand the day shift, they don't even have after hours support, leaving customers stranded until the next day without connectivity. While this is all good for someone surfing the net ( not really), I work from home and rely on a stable connection in order to do so. This left me unable to do my job. The customer service could only tell me " well, that's just how it is" and the managers did no better. They promised to have a tech out at 8am sharp the next day and that did not happen. They have wasted 48 hours of my time and my ability to work and have done absolutely NOTHING but tell me to basically "Suck it up - we will get to you when we feel like it" What a horrible way to treat new customer. I am currently awaiting my 4th visit to install Ziply Fiber. I just received a text stating they will be late. It is only one hour into the four hour window. We are getting ready to cancel the entire order. The execution since ordering has been a complete debacle. The contractor does not communicate with Ziply. They are NOT customer service oriented. This is their fourth visit to our house and it is not complete. They drilled into the wrong room I am told be the actually Ziply rep. That has yet to be fixed. Ziply has huge issues with being able to do accurate billing. I have spent hours on the phone with them to correct their mistakes - one mistake was that $20+$12=$50. And then they don't correct my invoice, they give a credit that creates a new random invoice amount. I wanted to like them and use their network, but between their questionable sales force that makes promises of prices that are NOT communicated to the main office and the repeated billing issues, I am heading back to Comcast, unfortunately. read more

Service is inconsistent, loss of service daily, and almost impossible to get someone who can speak English on the phone. Last time they sent someone out to fix it the person had to use google translate to speak to me and I found out it was his first week on the job and he was supposed yo have a trainer with him but they had split the jobs up because their workload was so big and they were behind. Guy had no clue what to do and spent most of the time on the phone with a translator who was speaking back and forth with someone at the home office to walk him through the job. Their service never connected, in spite of calls to their truly useless customer support. So, we canceled service and went back to Xfinity who gave us an even better deal - that work! The first appointment I had tried to set up was removed without my notice even though they showed on their side that it was removed. The second appointment started ok. However, the technician told me one thing about them contacting me to help further due to broken cables and the customer service company said another. Zipley was supposed to contact me before continuing so I could make the decision to continue on or not and THEY DIDN'T CONTACT ME. They just sent companies out to mark the underground utilities without telling me. For this to be a communications company, they really sucked at communicating with their customer. read more
