And I tried to get a credit back from them and they refused to do it now they want me to pay 2200 or I who will go and get a bad credit review, every time i try to contact them. What a joke. I have been with Ziply for decades starting when they came by my house, knocked on my door telling me they are putting in copper fiber and asked if I wanted to be a customer. I signed on for both my land line (yes I still have one) and internet. This post is mainly about my phone. Phone service has been going out periodically the past few months but miraculously had fixed itself within the hour. Last week it stopped working to the point I had to make that frustrating contact to tech support. First call was to Rheme (sp?) this 30 min fiasco included being put on hold for him to reach out to their "network team." After 10 min he disconnected the call and never called back. That took me to Frances (tech support), another waste of time lasting over 30 min. Then tried to reach them through their website which is an extreme joke. Then the 4th attempt was Irish if that was her name. During this challenge my phone line could accept calls but when dialing out got a busy signal. She reached out to tech support who completely shut down my phone so if someone called it just rang and rang and rang. She scheduled tech support to come out next day which I appreciated and they did. The tech guy when opening the box asked me who unplugged one of the plugs and my response after not really knowing what he was talking about was "most likely the previous tech guy" He acted as if I or someone got into their box. Something was wrong with their system from what he said. However what he did was disable copper wire service of which I was grandfathered in and put my phone on internet I believe. NOT what I asked for and he did so WITHOUT my approval. I know Ziply was trying to discontinue copper wire service with their long time customers. Shame on him for not asking me. AFTER ZIPLY CAME OUT JUST NOTICED MY CALLER ID IS NO LONGER WORKING OR THE OTHER FEATURES I HAVE HAD FOR DECADES. I live in rural Washington county and beside satellite Ziply is our only other option for internet. It is absolutely awful. Over the past month our internet has been down as much as is been working. So I just cancelled by account with Ziply. I would guess four years ago they were making a big thing about getting rid of DSL (copper) for fiberoptic. Well, three years ago I did a whole house reno and put in all the cables needed. Yep...three years later, STILL no fiber. I spoke to one of their installers and was told that since my existing phonelines are underground, Ziply didn't want to spend the money in my neighborhood. I spoke to one of their business account people (regarding two business accounts I oversee) and was told where he lives Ziply has the fiber running down the street in front of his house, but even he can't get it. He had to go with Comcast. The final straw was that Ziply increased my bill for phone and internet $30 per month. So...$360 per year. Why? Well, it seems I'm still on their copper and it costs them more. REALLY?! Ziply promised fiber which was supposed to reduce my cost, but because the bean counters don't want to spend the money to provide a service they've been touting for four years, the consumer gets ripped off. I was told that if I wanted to get fiber to my neighborhood I could get a petition going with my neighbors and Ziply would "consider it". I'm sorry...you promise something and fail to follow through, you increase my monthly to accommodate the higher cost of copper lines you failed to upgrade. I was also told by a business rep that their headquarters (in Everett, WA) has minimal customer service reps. Why? People don't want to work (shocker there). So most everything is outsourced to countries where English is the third or fourth language. So, thanks Ziply! You've lost me as a customer because of the poor customer service, the ongoing increase in my phone bill, and the failure to provide promised upgrades with no follow through. I changed my Internet to T-Mobile which so far has been faster and lest costly. read more

After the conversation with their employee (who was very well trained), I realized that I can't afford $60/mo. And suddenly, there are hidden fees, you have to rent the router, you have to pay the installation fee, etc. My real issue is that they are way too aggressive! I'm glad I never signed anything. Even after I tried to opt out, they are still calling me at least once every morning, and coming to knock on my door every day, sometimes more than once, sometimes very aggressively. I'm schizoaffective, with bipolar disorder and PTSD. A knock on the door, when I'm not expecting anyone, sends me into a state of panic. I don't need this crap. This is the same thing I went through several times as a buyer for a large grocery chain. They will push and push and push, even if they lose money in the deal. A Ziply salesman came to our home to talk about their service. He seemed very personable...After he gave me his pitch, I told him we'd definitely look into it and asked if he had any information flier to give me with details, prices etc. He said because we were over 55, he had a great deal for us. He then gave me his card. He said first steps would be that the technicians would come out to see if we even had space for the conduit. He said we didn't need to be home for that and assured us that they would not do anything in terms of digging etc. if we were not home. He did not say this would be an installation. Later that day, I received a text prompting me to set up my Ziply account. I deleted the text without setting up an account. We had not agreed to the service yet. Then, I received another text stating our installation would occur on July 28th. I responded to this text with a request that they cancel the installation. Again, we had not decided to move forward. We followed up with an email to our salesman (Michael Long) letting him know that we were not ready to move forward without reviewing our options. We asked him to provide more information regarding prices, packages etc. He did send us some limited information. We decided to set up the installation for July 8th. However, upon reviewing our existing Internet service...we realized there would be 0 savings if we moved forward. On June 30th, we again emailed Michael with instructions to cancel the new (July 8th) appointment. He did not respond. Shortly after that, I received another text form the technicians who were evidently at our home and already working on getting the conduit dug as per our original appointment date which had evidently not been cancelled. They said they had knocked on our door and there was no answer (we were out of town at the time). I immediately texted back to tell them to cease any and all work! They texted back to verify this, and I again stated we did not want them to proceed. We arrived back in town on July 1st to find our yard littered with flags, painted lines all over the street and yard, and a portion of our lawn dug up. God knows what would have happened if we had not been on top of this. However, one good thing came from all this. We now know that we will not be moving our service to Ziply! read more

Beware of when you cancel you service with Ziply fiber and you are moving residence. There is one final bill you will receive including a $10.00 termination fee with they did not communicate at the time of termination. Ziply does not contact you via email or phone eventhough they have that contact infomation. The will only send you a final bill via USPS and if you have moved you can possibly not receive that bill. If the bill is not paid they will then send it to a collections agency possibly impact you credit and still no communication via phone or text. read more

Second attempt to replace Xfinity. Same problems - their DNS servers are not stable. So if you want to use this service, you must use Google's public DNS servers (8.8.8.8) and (8.8.4.4.) - https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/. The company seems to ignore all the constructive feedback - blaming the customer (me) for issues with connectivity. Another Ziply review Have had service now for a little while. This is the 5th time since my last complaint that service is hard down. The 5th time I have had to spend an hour going from representative to representative. Every time along the way having to slog through the "did you try unplugging it"? "Did you restart your computer?" Now they are sending out a technician who of course only comes during normal working hours for most people. He will find nothing wrong with the service equipment and I will have to wait another day or two for someone who only works day hours to fix whatever hub/node I am on remotely. We had ziply at our old place but our new place isn't in a zone that ziply services so we cancelled our service. When we cancelled we were told that we would get a prorated bill since we missed the billing cycle by one day. We waited and got a bill for the full amount. We called and asked if that was what we owed and were told again that we would get sent a prorated bill. Fast forward two month and five phone calls later, we call again and we are told that we got sent to collections. Before this, we never received a warning that we would be sent to collections if we didn't pay in full by a certain date and were told by ziply to wait and not pay the bills that were sent to us. So ziply gives us the number for collections but collections says they have no record of a bill for us. We call ziply back and the person at ziply tells us that they don't do prorated bills for internet. This is the first time that anyone has said this to us. They gave us a half heart "sorry", they don't try and help us, and they don't try to rectify their mistake. They just say that we have to wait until Monday and maybe collections will have our information by then. I would rather pay more a month for equal or better internet than ever have to use ziply services. In fact, if there was an ultimatum between ziply for internet or no internet, I would chose not to have internet. And I work from home so I'd rather find a new job that doesn't require internet and not be able to have an iota of the lifestyle I have than to ever use ziply again. tldr: do not get ziply unless you're okay will being lied to and sent to collections without notice after being told BY ZIPLY to not pay your bill because multiple ppl at ziply have said to wait because you're being sent a prorated bill. Later to find out that they never intended on sending a prorated bill. read more

I was told that Ziply was better than Comcast Xfinity. I had nothing but trouble from the very beginning. I attempted to take over service at my new home address and immediately after creating an account I was told that my order couldn't be processed. I spent a week of back/forth on the phone to get the previous account disconnected (even though the previous owner had already done that a month before and had email confirmation). I worked with customer service who said they would correct the issue and that I would get a call back the next day to set up service. I got no such call, but I did get repeated calls from the sales department asking me to call to confirm my address. It's clear to me the customer service and sales departments don't talk to each other. I had one failed attempt to resolve with someone from sales who parroted the same issue about a previous account existing. Finally, I spoke to a sales rep who was able to cancel the account, but said I had to wait a full day to set up a new account. We set up the new account and a date for the install. On the day of the install, after calling Ziply to inquire about my install window because 30 minutes were left I finally get a message that the technician was running late. One hour goes by. Two hours go by. The technician never shows and there is no update to the status. I decided I wanted internet immediately, so I went back to my Comcast account and activated new service at my address. Within an hour, I had set up all my old equipment and was using my high-speed internet. So much for Ziply's customer service, which they pride themselves on. read more

Simply has installed cable recently to our development. The workers dug up our yard to install and then proceeded to cut into our water main line. PUD was called to come out and they said that because of where the cut was made it is our responsibility. Supposedly the crew repaired the water line but we were without power flushing toilet for up to 3 hours. PUD was the not even sure if the line was repaired correctly. This needs to be fixed it's affecting two other neighbors as well. Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted on actions of the crew. No one mentioned it to us. My son was the one who notified there is no water in our house. Water has been restored but not sure if again the water main is fixed. Having PUD to check as well as we are having to check making sure that we're not spilling water . We just want this fixed properly not just a patch! The crew could not even speak english. Had to translate via phone . How is this even possible to not have a crew manager on site and no notification to homeowners when damage has been done ! We will be placing a complaint with BBB and notifying social media news media if this is not repaired immediately! read more

Oh, Ziply Fiber, where do I begin with your stellar 11-day performance in my life? I was promised lightning fast, reliable internet by your relentless door-knocking sales team, but what I got was a comedy of errors that cost me time, money, and sanity .It all started with my July 2, 2025, installation appointment, which Ziply Fiber promptly rescheduled to July 3 without so much as a courtesy heads-up. I took time off work because who doesn't love burning vacation hours for no reason? only to watch a technician leave a "temporary" fiber line sprawled across my yard like modern art. Apparently, this masterpiece required a second visit to "properly" install it, so I took another half-day off on July 9. The grand finale? The tech tucked the line under some weed fabric and rocks. Truly groundbreaking work, Ziply, and I'm still wondering why I needed to be home for that. Fast forward to July 11, when I was out of town, and my home network and security system decided to take a vacation too, courtesy of Ziply Fiber's impeccable service. A Sunday night call to support had me unplugging my modem genius advice and being told a tech could grace me with their presence on July 17. I politely declined to wait six days and requested a Monday, July 14, visit. Did I get a follow-up call as promised? Of course not! Instead, I called again, took yet another half-day off work, and waited for a tech between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. At 1:44 PM, I received a delightful text rescheduling me to July 16, followed by a cherry-on-top notification of an area outage. Bravo, Ziply Fiber, for timing that one perfectly. Three half-days off work, $576 in lost wages, and extra expenses later, I realized Ziply Fiber's only reliable feature was its ability to solicit customers. I canceled my service, drove to my previous provider, plugged in their modem, and voilà! had working internet in under an hour. If only Ziply Fiber could match that energy. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere unless you enjoy rescheduled appointments, yard décor cables, and a masterclass in frustration. Hello, First off, I HATE leaving bad eviews or comments. I have Ziply Fiber and am getting ready to go back to Comcast. The first issue was before I even had their service. Their contracted cable / fibre installers tied a winch from my young pear tree to their cable so they could pull the cale along the power lines. This pulled my tree over at an angle and when I asked what they were doing, I had to speak into one of their phones so that it could be translated from english because they didn't speak or understand english. When I called Ziply about it, they guy I talked to said there was nothing Ziply could do about it. After this, I still decided to change to them, Dunno why. Currently, I am paying for higher speeds than my old Comcast plan and I am constantly getting buffering issues. Because there is a hill in the way that causes cell signal issues, my phone is over internet. It is very unreliable. heaven forbid I need 911. I can no longer work from home due to the phone issue and the bad lag and buffering issues. They sent out a tech when I called with this issue August 17 2024, (I have a record of it but they can't find it, I even have the text message tellling me the tech was finished and leaving !!! ) and the tech stated after going through my network and checking my brand new router, that there was nothing wrong inside. I called again last week and they want to send a tech out again to check my system out instead of finding out why their system has no bandwidth or fluctuating bandwidth. They have no techs working on Saturday so if you have an issue, you have to take time off of work, lose pay and still not get the problem fixed. I had to cancel Youtube TV because of the constant freeze ups. They have no problems charging you for this mess but would never compensate you for lack of service. If you are in Oregon, I would seriously refrain from going with a Ziply plan until they get their system fixed out. They need to spend their money fixing the system they have before they consider expanding more. If you work from home, like I did, DO NOT get a Ziply plan right now. And when I switch back to Comcast, I will now have a friggin hole in my wall where they drilled through from outside, for their fibre modem instead of following the coaxial and going under the house. read more

Unfortunately, Ziply is the only provider available for my home and the service has been terrible. I'd switch if I could and would never recommend this company. We live in a very rural area and cell service is not available at the house. We have to use a landline and Ziply is the only one. We've been customers for several years and have had many problems. Sometimes it's no service, sometimes it's static. Most recently, it's been weeks of ghost calls all day and into the night while I'm home trying to run a business and take care of my family. After several unsatisfactory calls to customer service, it continues. I think the local technician is good. My problem is with the company and their approach to customer service. Their advice? Most of the time it's better to email than call these people. If you email them you can just talk into the phone like I'm doing now to send a message and it takes seconds and they get back to you in the next few days. If you call them your looking at 30 to 45 minutes minimum. And the results you get from either are the same. Nothing. I would give them a negative review if I could. They had contractors come onto my property and without permission started jack hammering my driveway. I went out there and stopped them the moment I heard the hammering. I asked why them why they had not asked me first if it was okay to bust up my driveway. They had also broke a telephone line that was buried next to the driveway. I told them to stop. some 20 minutes later I get a call from the contracting company that Ziply contracts with to install lines. He was the very rude and basically threatened that if I didn't let them bust up my driveway and install a box there I wouldn't get service. He didn't even address my main concern which was the communication or lack there of. It would have been more understandable if they had talked to me of what needed to be done and how they would repair the driveway when done. This way I can decide if I thought it was worth it to get Ziply Fiber service. He was basically like it needs to be done so I told them to do it. Zero respect for other peoples property. He had the attitude like he owned my driveway and had the right to do whatever he wanted there. until Ziply can find professional contractors that conduct themselves professionally it will be hard to ever let them on my property again!!!! read more

We have had zippy fiber for an internet source for several years. During that time their rates have nearly doubled! They went from $40 to $74. When I inquired why they were raised I was told it was for upgrades they had to make. During the last few days it has been going in and out. So much for the upgrades around here. I called to report the outages and they set me up for an appointment for a technician to come and fix the problem. They did not show for that appointment. A few years ago I set up an appointment to have it installed at my mother's home in Orofino! They never showed up then either. I tried to get them there 3 different times and they never showed up. A huge tree fell across our road, taking out power, comcast, and Ziply. The wires were on the ground, shredded by the stretching as the tree's immense weight yanked the cables apart. This was Saturday at 3pm. The power company showed up, and called in the highway department to clear the road and remove the tree. The power company then restrung their lines. Comcast then showed up and called their CableCom friends and together, they worked hours to get it up, on Sunday. Ziply said my problem was my telecom gear and I didn't know what I was doing. They'd come out Tuesday, just 4 days later, and if it wasn't really my fault, they wouldn't charge me for the visit. I told them wires were on the ground, and a tree had destroyed their wires. They still didn't care. I called Ziply customer service and told them that people who use their service for phone won't be able to call 911 and this is a serious deal. They just wasted 15 minutes of my time before I could talk to somebody who'd take a report. They said there is no way for them to open an outage. True to their word, the site still reports "NO OUTAGES IN YOUR AREA" and recommends you try troubleshooting your gear. The wires are still on the ground, not on the telephone pole. Years ago, the county mowed down a Frontier box, before ziply bought them, and Frontier said they'd be out in 4 days. They actually came out the same day. Ziply, I assumed, would have improved, but no, they didn't. But they did raise their prices recently. read more

Ziply did not show up for 2 different, confirmed appointments. I gave them a 3rd try, after talking to "customer service" and they did not show up on time. I canceled. Very, very disappointed. The "customer service" line and chat were a joke - in fact, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told "I'm the manager here" - as if they don't report to anyone. I was told "no worries" multiple times - apparently they are not worried about honoring their word or decent customer service. If I could give them less than 1 star on the review, I would. Had service for a little over a year while I lived in Duvall, WA. Internet speeds were usually adequate for my needs but never anywhere close to the giga speeds advertised, and I have routing equipment more than capable of to handle it, as I'm getting it with my current provider with the same equipment. My big issue came when it was time to disconnect. It's been over a full month since ending my service and I'm still waiting for a refund of a full month's charge against my final partial month of service. Every time I talk with a rep they give me an excuse and tell me I have to wait. I wait and get a new excuse on why I have to wait longer. read more

They've come several times but something is always going wrong. Whoever comes always says someone ELSE will have to solve the problem. On November 2nd we had an appointment in a 4 hour window. They never came, they never called. On the phone they basically admitted they shouldn't have recruited us because they weren't ready. I always have to contact them, they don't communicate.
