We bring friends and family here every chance we get. They are still making changes to improve the wheelchair accommodations but they are so open to our needs and always strive to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They have breakfast every morning with full hot breakfast when they are near capacity (which has been more often than not lately).

However, the Desert Pearl is well-deserving of a positive review. I first discovered this place 26 years ago, and I estimate that I have stayed here 20 times over the years. Over 26 years, never once have I been disappointed. I have recommended this place countless times to my family and friends. For starters, the rooms have a rustic modern style with expansive balconies or patios that include Adirondack chairs for relaxing while taking in the views of the red mountains, which are right in front of you. When awaking in the morning, simply roll up the shades, and you can enjoy the sunrise on the mountains while in bed or while having a cup of coffee on the loveseat in the seating area. The kitchenette is a nice addition, especially on hiking days. You can make yourself a simple breakfast prior to your morning hike(s). On lazier days, the addition of the restaurant was a major upgrade within the past few years. One request for management: The coffeemakers could use an upgrade to full-sized models with additional coffee mugs also stocked. However, I will note the availability of a small drawer-type dishwasher that is also included in the kitchenette. Location: The DPI is conveniently located in Springdale with a shuttle stop right in front of the hotel. There are many restaurant, shopping, and art/photo galleries located easily within walking distance. The entrance to Zion National Park is just a short shuttle ride (1mile) to the visitor's center or short car ride to the entrance to the park. I appreciate management's ability to maintain the beauty of the rooms and grounds over the years. The pool and spa are always in great shape. Electric vehicle parking spots have also been added. One future upgrade request: I like the bathroom design with separate sink/closet area and separate shower/toilet area. The pocket sliding doors are also a nice space-saving feature. However, I would like to see a shower makeover to a larger, more modern walk-in design rather than a tub and shower curtain (I do appreciate the curved curtain rod to gain space.) design. Overall, I rate this 5-stars. The Desert Pearl is truly one of my favorite hotels of all time. I look forward to my next visit!

Getting to stargazer 2 was easy but possibly challenging for those with mobility challenges in regards to stairs. The jacuzzi and fire pit were so fun. Oh and the smores kit was such a nice touch as well as the welcome basket. We travel a lot and this place has it dialed in. Truly. Cold waters in the fridge upon arrival - ahhhh. So what would I add - a wellness spa for massages, on site morning yoga, sound bathing, etc.... I might add a very modern pool or one that incorporates nature. All done with contemporary Scandinavian furniture which minimizes clutter and convenient controls for lighting, ventilation and automatic shades. - Employees: Helpful. While it wasn't a buffet, you could order as much as you'd like. Much of it was homemade and I especially liked the "Overnight Oats". There's also a charming little café near the check-in area that added to the overall experience. The views of Utah at sunset were absolutely breathtaking, and the stargazing at night was incredible. The only thing worth noting is that our last night was quite windy, and the yurt was a bit noisy from the wind. But, hey, it's all part of being out in the beautiful wilderness--Mother Nature's soundtrack, if you will!

A full-size bunk bed and King bed worked out perfectly. The sink and mirror were in the common area, while the shower and toilet were enclosed. Other amenities included a small fridge, microwave, heater/AC, front patio with rocking chairs, smores kit, and fabulous linens. Very clean and well designed for glamping! We love to visit Zion National Park often and will definitely stay at Zion Wildflower Resort in the future!!
