This is a motor lodge, so obviously I'm rating it as such, not putting it on the level of a resort. For a motor lodge, this place is great. Beds comfortable and room really clean, redone. Showers right away warm, good pressure. Quiet, good wall insulation. Parking is ample. The included breakfast is at Porter's and it's great! Not your basic free breakfast at a hotel. This is a delicious breakfast that many people wait in line for to pay for. The pool and hot tub are meh, ok, needed to be skimmed. It's great to be right in Springdale to walk to eat and shop. The attached gift shop is a wonderful store. Thing is, somehow, the area surrounding Zion is very expensive. read more

The room was just okay. Very mediocre but, it had a great view. This not so good review is mostly to Porters but, Porter's is with Bumbleberry Inn and that were your breakfast vouchers are for. I would not recommend Porters. The wait staff wasn't the most pleasant and the food was disappointing to say the least! Went for breakfast first day...omelet was not throughly cooked but, potatoes were good. Second day for breakfast NO COFFEE!! They stated we could go next door (their coffee shop) and buy one?!? Asked for ice tea 3x's and got ice water. Also, got a breakfast sandwich and threw it up 3 hrs later plus explosive diarrhea!! Not, my favorite moment in life! read more

We stayed here one night during our visit to Zion and enjoyed the visit. Check in went fine (the staff person who checked us in was not very personable) and we then moved our car to a spot closer to our room in a different building. The room itself was just fine. By staying there, we also got a ticket to breakfast (not a buffet), which is at Porter's restaurant at the front of the property (see my review on their yelp page for that). What a great place to stay in Springdale! My son and I stayed for 4 nights and had a blast. Really friendly service at the front, and they have mail service and beverages in the lobby, as well as DVD rentals. And they have a bottle filling station as well! The room we got had 2 queen beds and a great view of the rock formations. Protip: try to get into the 300 building. There's also a little patio outside the room with some chairs to enjoy the sunset and watch the animals on the property. It's a very peaceful place! Also, you can feed the animals if you'd like - there are signs telling you what they all like to eat. My son and I had a blast feeding them! In the room itself, I really appreciated the minifridge and microwave. The beds were comfy enough, and the pillows were various sizes and fluffy-ness. Water got hot pretty quick, even in winter. The one downer is the paper thin walls and ceiling. We could hear people all around us, even in rooms that were not adjacent to ours. Conversations were definitely not private. People going up the stairs had thunderous footsteps. We brought a sound machine and it helped a bit, but those walls...! Perhaps some sound-dampening drywall might help. We didn't get a chance to try the complimentary breakfast at Porter's - if only they opened a little earlier. Oh, I also really like how they have a well-stocked gift shop and bakery on the property! We definitely enjoyed the stay and will be back the next time we're in the area! My son will make sure of it, if only to just feed the animals! read more

We had a truly great experience here. Room: spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Beds were firm and pillows were either too fluffy or too flat- it was so weird! The dvd player was great to be able to borrow dvds from the lobby. Loved this. Noise: very poorly insulated room. Could hear people upstairs and in the hall all the time. They offer a sound machine which maybe helped a little. Service: crazy friendly helpful people! They were really nice to my kids and chatty but not too chatty. Fun: the hot tub is tiny but we were thrilled it was open. The animals out back are a real treat and it is nice that they let you feed them with guidance on what they can eat. Breakfast: at Porters on the main street. Ask when they open and get there 5-10 before to be seated right away and not have to wait! Take a little cash for a tip- the service was fantastic. The staff at the Bumbleberry Inn were kind and courteous. Gave us meal vouchers for free breakfast at Porter's for each morning. I wished we had booked a longer stay in Springdale. We didn't want to leave. There are some small goats, ducks, mini pony in the property behind the hotel. They let you pet them. Convenient location to get to restaurants to eat dinner. The grocery store is nearby if you want to pick up snacks or sandwiches for a hike. The shuttle stops right in front of the property to take you into Zion National Park. Quiet inn perfectly located in Springdale, about a mile from the park entrance. Rooms are clean and comfortable, hot tub is great after a day of hiking, and the breakfast at Porter's is a nice way to start the day. But what makes this place unforgettable is the petting zoo in the back! Goats, a mini pony, aggressive turkeys, shy sheep, noisy ducks, and chickens will gladly nibble on grapes and carrots. If you're lucky, you might even see the beautiful young deer who come by at night. read more

There's a stop right outside the inn. Plus, you're in the heart of the cute Springdale town. You can easily get to dinner by foot or car. 2. Breakfast: They partner with Porter's which is at the edge of the property. It's no breakfast to sleep on. You get coffee, a choice between multiple entrees and friendly service. It's way better than any continental other hotels are doing. We enjoyed waking up walking over and relaxing for a second before going into the park to adventure. 3. Personal Patios: We absolutely loved this! We sat on our patio area everyday with a beer & chips for happy hour. The inn has mountain views that won't disappoint. 4. Staff: They were the sweetest bunch! We talked to them daily about the area, where we were from, our stay, etc. They really are there to help you have the best stay. 5. Extras: There's animals you can go see in the back! Movies you can rent at the front... every room has a dvd player. We thought this was so nostalgic and cool. Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The staff was warm, welcoming and at our service whenever we had questions. The property is situated near the entrance of Zion National Park and surrounded by a breathtaking landscape of orange and pink rocks formations. Our room showcased the beautiful view and was a very quiet area which afforded us peaceful sleep each night of our stay. There was also a neighbouring animal farm where kids/families can visit and feed the animals. That was a winner for our son! We loved the convenience of having a restaurant, bakery, store and the bus stop (to bring us to Zion park entrance) within walking distance from our room. The daily free breakfast (from Porter's restaurant) which was included with our reservation, was clutch! We were celebrating a mile stone anniversary during our stay and upon arrival we found that the staff had left a handwritten card and small gift of bumbleberry jam in our room to congratulate us. DO NOT STAY HERE!! We have only been here for one night and we regret not spending the extra money to stay somewhere else in Springdale. We still have 4 nights and regret booking this hotel. Upon arrival the sheets had a stain on them and the bathroom was dirty with hair on the walls and floor. The room was hot and the thermostat was set to 75. We turned it down, but you cannot turn it below 68 (we both woke up sweating in the middle of the night). It was late and we were tired from our time change so we went to bed and had requested housekeeping in the morning. The walls are paper thin. While trying to sleep you could hear the conversations from the room next door. They were not shouting or being loud, but you could still hear them. There is a q-tip near the bed and we did not use any. We had a permit to start hiking Angel's Landing before 9 AM and I asked the desk if there was a grab and go option for breakfast since we wanted to leave earlier than 7 (when breakfast opens). He said no. Ok fine, we didn't get our breakfast. We came back after visiting the park around 3 to find the room had still not been serviced. I asked if it was going to be and the man at the desk said no the maids had left for the day. He handed me a stack of towels and I asked if there was anybody who could change the sheets and he said no. A young woman (not a maid) was behind the desk and volunteered. I asked if he could make sure housekeeping would come tomorrow and the response was "well I'm not here in the morning so I can't", so they have no way to leave a note for the morning staff?... We wanted to relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking but the hot tub is closed. Not only is the hot tub closed but if you want to sit by the pool you have to listen to the jackhammer work on the hot tub. I'm not sure why he arrived at 4:00 and wasn't doing this while everyone was at the park. Better customer service would go a long way. read more

We stayed @ Bumbleberry Inn for 3 nights on our recent trip to Zion National Park (ZNP). Bumbleberry Inn is literally located just outside ZNP surrounded by mountains in Springdale UT, in fact we drove through ZNP to get to the Blumberry Inn, Springdale UT. What could be more perfect than being literally walking distance to the park entrance. There are many amenities besides the close proximity to the park & the absolutely gorgeous surroundings. There is a shuttle bus at the street right in front of BI. Breakfast is also included for guests, but not you normal buffet breakfast. BI has an arrangement w/Oscar's (restaurant) across the street. A voucher is issued each day that needs to be picked up after 3pm. This voucher needs to be presented to the server when ordering. The voucher includes any of the breakfast items & a drink. The only thing remaining is to leave a tip for the server. For me this is a WIN, WIN, WIN for the guest, Blumberry Inn & Oscars (restaurant). By this I mean the guest gets to eat a different breakfast w/a drink, something different instead of the same buffet/breakfast everyday. Blumberry Inn (via Oscar's) provides an excellent breakfast wo/having to provide staffing for preparing meals, serving & cleaning up. They also don't have to have a dedicated dining area for the breakfast area & last but not least Oscars gets the guests from BI while providing much better quality food than your typical hotel buffet. The Bumbleberry Inn was such a delightful stay. We had a problem with our reservation at another hotel in Springdale and I called around and the customer service at Bumbleberry was superb. At 4:45 on a Friday they were able to get a a room for 3 nights. Check in was very easy and the lobby, common areas, grounds and rooms were clean and well maintained. Behind the the Inn is a Private Farm "Grandpa Smith's Farm", but the allow you to visit the Animals and even give them a little snack if you'd like. You get breakfast vouchers for Porters which is right by the Inn, and a great place to grab breakfast before heading into Zion. The Springdale Shuttle stop #5 is right there and convenient to take it to the park. You can also take a 25 min walk into Zion. This was a great stay! read more

overall was a great stay for us. everything was biking distance to all the hiking trails and located in center of the town. cons: walls and ceilings are not ideal. all night the neighbors above sounded like they were dropping bowling balls out their bed onto the floors, or if they were performing WWE wrestling moves, it was LOUD. kept us up till midnight and then they wake up bright and early at 6am with stomping and u can even hear the toilet seat slam up, wild. every step is noticeable. I think this is the only downside to the this place, that's why it will receive a 3 star. 3 because it was very aggravating hearing kids run around at midnight and slamming stuff. pros: breakfast and we were located at the poolside with the view. cool beans. read more

We stayed at Bumbleberry Inn last year and again this year. The rooms were clean and quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The night we were there we were invited to attend a free showing of the movie, Elf, at the gift shop/restaurant/theater right next door to the hotel, which was a lot of fun (popcorn included!). Highly recommended. They have a pool which wasn't open at the time we were there in December but the hot tub was open. The best thing is the free breakfast at the restaurant next door! read more

My love & I recently stayed at the Bumbleberry Inn & we must say we really enjoyed our visit. The staff was very friendly. The view from our room was stupendous & the complimentary breakfast from Oscar's Cafe was Ahhhhhmazing. Now being quite honest I was stuck between rating this place a 3 or a 4, but decided on a 4 because the price we paid for 2 nights wasn't too much compared to other places we were considering & the fact that it's so close to Zion National Park (literally the shuttle pick up is outside the property) made us decide to book here. The bed itself is comfortable enough, but the frame is a total nuisance. I wish I would've taken a picture to show how high up the frame of the bed went up on the sides. We felt like we were boxed in, but it wasn't too bad. I appreciate the rustic vibe, but definitely need to do some room remodeling. Now if you're coming to try their bumbleberry pie I have some bad news...no pies available until potentially next year. I was looking forward on trying a slice, but was bummed out to hear that their kitchen burned down. There's some construction going on here to rebuild the kitchen from what I was told. Overall we really liked our stay. The staff was amazing I wish all staff would be as friendly. We loved the views, the pool & jacuzzi were nice, & the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. This was the perfect little hotel for us while we visited Zion National Park. We arrived late so they left check-in instructions on the door for us when we arrived which felt a little weird but throughout our stay in Springdale we realized it is a very trusting town which i'm assuming means it is pretty safe. The room was great. It was cute and had a clean bed, and clean bathroom. One night the people above us were pretty noisy but it they quieted down after 9:30pm so it wasnt a big concern. We checked out the hot tub one night which was very enjoyable. The front desk people were friendly and there was a farm on the backside of the hotel which had the cutest animals!! The best perk was that they give you breakfast vouchers to use at Oscar's Cafe across the street. This saved us quite a bit of money on food and the food was great! I would definitely stay here again. I was a little bummed I did not get to try their world famous bumbleberry pie but hopefully they get their restaurant and bakery re-built soon so we can try it next time we are in town! read more

Family-owned and operated motel at Shuttle Stop 5 just outside of the park - you can take the shuttle into the park, or just walk. We did both depending on our mood. The rooms were clean and spacious with a microwave and fridge. There were several cafes and restaurants, and a small grocery store within walking distance. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable and each bed seemed to have 4 different pillows of differing firmness so everyone got one they liked. CONS: They provide a white noise machine for a reason - the walls and floors are thin so you can hear the people in the next room and all the footsteps. We are very early risers and like to get out to our adventures early - the biggest con for us was the in-room coffee was terrible so we had to go get it across the street (super expensive), and there is no on-site breakfast. Instead you get a voucher for a restaurant across the parking lot - the food was good but they don't open until 7. If you are not in line outside before 7 you won't get a table. Waiting, ordering, waiting for your meal, etc was too much for us so we only used the vouchers one day. read more

This hotel surpassed my expectations! Not only do you feel like you are IN Zion national park we actually had to drive through Zion to get to the hotel! The views were amazing, the room was nice and the beds were comfortable. We went swimming in the pool while it was still warm outside and enjoyed the jacuzzi when it got a little colder. You were walking distance to so many shops for souvenirs and we loved walking around. There was a pizza restaurant and ice cream shop where we ate. We then enjoyed the sunset from our patio at the hotel. There was a cute house behind us that had some animals on the property that we could go see which was one of the best parts! In the lobby they have snacks and drinks you can purchase. When we come back we will definitely stay here again!! read more

We accidentally booked the room on the wrong date and luckily, because it was low season, Ellery at the front desk was kind enough to help us sort everything out. The staff was super friendly and informative, the room and building was very clean, and woke up to a breathtaking view of the mountains as well as donkeys, goats and sheep in the back! The Inn is in a very good location, surrounded by many restaurants and is very close to the entrance of Zion national park. The room was very affordable and they even provided breakfast vouchers to Oscars cafe which is just across the street. Although the shuttles were not in service at the time of our stay, there is a shuttle stop at the entrance. Will definitely stay here again! read more

Beautiful views, wonderful and kind staff, and great food. Although we had some issues. We booked one night in November and added another night in April. The person on the phone looked up our existing reservation and verbally agreed to honor our November night rate ($216 for 3 adults and 1 child) for the added night. We never received a confirmation email to confirm the second night stay or agreed upon rate. When we got there, they did NOT honor our agreement. In fact, the rate was $267 for only 2 adults (not adding on extra adults). The total ended up coming to roughly $320 including tax. Furthermore, we just checked out today and the current nightly base rate for 2 people is only $188- an $80 difference. We are a disappointed because we believe we communicated well with the hotel and then were taken for a cash grab once we were checked in and our options for switching hotels were limited. We would have appreciated more transparency when we modified our reservation in April so we could have reconsidered our lodging options and take advantage of the free cancellation party in order to accommodate to our budgetary needs. On top of all this, our first room had poop on the bathroom floor. We understand that things get missed when cleaning and the hotel was apologetic and prompt in switching out rooms. However, given the inconvenience and health concerns upon arrival, we would have hoped that hotel management would have been more compensatory when dealing with the billing issues. In the end the hotel staff was fantastic, professional, and helpful. However, it was disheartening that hotel management seemed to go great lengths to justify the overcharges instead of trying to work with us by considering our concerns. read more

With Covid cancelling most planned vacations this year, I was in the same boat as many others and needed to use up my PTO days. An outdoors, national parks trip made the most sense to maintain social distancing and Zion was my first stop! Bumbleberry Inn popped up as an affordable option for a 3 night stay. I have to admit, the free breakfast is what caught my attention. I originally thought that breakfast was only included once during my stay, but we actually get free breakfast for every night of our stay! The breakfast also isn't just a continental breakfast, but from a diner that serves up great hardy meals before a long day of outdoor hikes. The rooms here are spacious and clean, much better than many motels that I've stayed at. It's also centrally located in Springdale, close to great restaurants, and has an amazing view of the mountains. I would highly recommend staying here during a visit to Zion! read more

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Bumbleberry. It had beautiful views all around. It was very conveniently located close to great restaurants and the shuttle that takes you to the ZNP entrance. It was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator, which was nice. There was access to some farm animals behind the hotel which was fun and the pool and hot tub was enjoyable. I would recommend improving the following: 1. Invest in higher quality bedding 2. Improve the voucher system. Picking up vouchers every night for the next morning isn't necessarily convenient. It would also be beneficial to have access to an earlier breakfast for those that like to hike early, which is important for such a busy park 3. It's a bit noisy outside the rooms, possibly wood construction with not much insulated flooring and no elevator, so every time someone goes up or down the stairs, it was a bit loud.
