A solid 2-Star hotel centrally located in Springdale, UT. Only 1.5 miles away from the Zion National Park Visitor Center and it's dog friendly. We really enjoyed our 1-night stay. The lobby was inviting, customer service at the front desk was great, the bed was comfy, bed linens were surprisingly nice, beautiful view, and the main grocery store "Sol Foods" was just across the street (closes at 11pm). Clean sheets, fluffy pillows, and a substantial comforter - heavy enough to keep me warm when the A/C was running. Great room rate! We arrived 4 hours prior to the 3pm check-in time, so I inquired about getting our room early; Nothing was available. They did offer to start the check-in process, so all we had to do at 3pm was get our room key. Meanwhile, we ended up leaving our car in the spacious lot and used the free Springdale shuttle to get us to the Zion shuttle (headed to The Narrows). It was less than a 5-min walk to Stop 5 near Bumbleberry Inn. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were topped off in the shower dispenser. Flat screen tv, mini fridge, and microwave were available in our room with 2 Queen beds. The few things that could be improved upon are more lighting in the bedroom area and stronger water pressure for the shower head. The morning after, the complimentary "continental" breakfast included yogurt, apple, granola bar, muffin, bagel & cream cheese. Perfect for the road! Would definitely return the next time we find ourselves in beautiful Zion!

Stayed here overnight for a quick weekend get away. We had a 2 queen room. Rooms were large and clean - ours had tile floor which I liked. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of parking. We were on the top floor in the back building, room was quite and the view was amazing. Location can't be beat, walking distance to Sol market, gas station, and restaurants and a few minutes from the park. Only complaint is Sunday morning we called down to the front desk 3x and even stoped in and there as no one there??

When picking a place for me and my friends to stay while in Zion, we wanted a place that felt local and less like a hotel. This lodge was perfect and really set the mood for staying in zion. It's small compared to other neighboring hotels, but it was perfect for our stay. The views outside the lodge were beautiful, especially when the moon was out over the mountains. The lobby was very nicely decorated and the lady that checked us in was very nice. The room was like any typical hotel room. Two beds, TV, fridge, microwave, etc. They had a really nice mirror in the bathroom! They have complimentary breakfast from 6:30AM - 9:30AM. It's just like your typical continental breakfast with nothing special. They have a waffle maker, assortment of teas, coffees, and juices. They had 3 types of cereals, some fruit, yogurt, and pastries. And they had scrambled eggs and sausage patties. The dining area for breakfast is also nicely decorated with comfortable chairs and a TV for viewing. This place was also fairly cheap compared to well-known hotels nearby. I would stay here again!

The stay was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had and gave great recommendations to make our visit at Zion NP as good as it could be. They're located pretty close to all the shops in Springdale and only a few minutes from the park gate.

I was threatened that if I were to show these photos, that they would keep our money instead of compensating us.

TL;DR: FOUND BEDBUGS AND TOLD MANAGEMENT. MANAGEMENT THREATENED NOT REFUND US FOR A ROOM WITH BEDBUGS IF WE POSTED A REVIEW. CALLED COPS ON US AFTER WE CALLED HER OUT FOR PREDATORY PRACTICES. Places get BEDBUGS, I get it, but what upset me was their response to the incident. We were laughed at in disbelief by the management when we made the claim that we found bedbugs in our room. When we went to physically show the front desk staff the BEDBUGS, he was unable to help us due to the fact that management refuses to give any sort of authority to the staff. Even overheard him explaining to the manager that a patron had found BEDBUGS, only to be asked, "and where did they find them?" to which he incredulously replied, "in their room..." With all of our clothing likely infested, we had to double bag all of our items and couldnt stay in our rooms so we were told to wait in the lobby. We waited for close to 4 HOURS AFTER HAVING FOUND THESE BEDBUGS for management to show up. Later we found that the delay was due to the manager on duty having been on a Jeep tour(what?). The blonde portly woman who was manager severely lacked customer service skills and first impression upon seeing the BEDBUGS, lamented to us how expensive it would now be to heat-treat the rooms. How was this my problem? We wanted to sanitize our clothes in a hot wash and asked for some spare clothing in the mean time, but were given none and instead offered a closet we could sit naked in while our clothes washed...No thank you? how would I get to the clothes after?? She was incredibly stubborn and refused to budge on any compromise. The cherry on top was her threatening to not refund me for my room charge if I were to post a review of the place. I didn't even care to post anything but that was all the motivation I needed to change my mind. I immediately called her out on that predatory tactic and she CALLED THE COPS ON ME. Luckily, the police were much more understanding and helped facilitate a refund, but beware you may not be so lucky. That sick woman has likely threatened many patrons already with this kind of extortion. DONT LET THIS BE YOU.

Phone is inoperable and not connected to anything. They said they will call the room to address our complaints

Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Checked in to a dirty room with people's belongings left in there. Our shower didn't work at all and when we asked the front desk about it, they promised it would be fixed by the time we got back that evening. When we got back, we still did not have a working shower and they said that nobody will be coming to fix it. They wouldn't let us switch rooms, and said that we won't be refunded our remaining stay if we decided to leave. Management has still refused to respond to the situation or even apologize considering we paid hundreds of dollars PER NIGHT to not be able to shower after hiking all weekend. Could have been resolved so easily, but instead stuck with a super frustrating outcome.

Beautiful views, next to Zion national park, and excellent customer service. The manager was so helpful and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommending this place to all my family and friends.

One of the most beautiful and conveniently closest hotels to the entrance of Zion…read more I've stayed here twice now, and there's a specific room type I keep coming back to: the Riverside Grand View Bedroom Suite. At 500 sq. ft, it feels spacious and serene, with a sitting area over looking the river below, blackout drapes, soaking tub, seperate walk-in shower, pillow-top mattress, workplace, and a 55" TV that my man really appreciates. But the best part is the large private balcony with seating and a direct view of The Watchman, one of Zion's most iconic peaks. Sunrises and sunsets from here are epic. Your stay includes, wifi, parking, year-round access to the outdoor pools and hot tubs, fire pits, fitness center, bathrobes and slippers, ac/heat, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and fresh coffee each morning near the lobby. On-site you'll also find a restaurant by the name of Anthera, and a spa, both of which I recommend. With 53 rooms, the property doesn't feel like just another standard hotel. What truly sets it apart though, is what lies just behind it, the lush riverside gardens. Ending your day sitting by the river, listening to the water move past as your thoughts quiet and your whole body softens. In the morning expect to see a lot of deer grazing in the grass areas. It's genuinely spellbinding. If the restaurant on property doesn't interest you there are other walkable options nearby and this property does not allow pets. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The property is stunning, beautifully landscaped gardens, peaceful riverside views, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. Our room had breathtaking views of the red cliffs. The pool and hot tub area are fantastic, especially after a long day of hiking. You really can't beat the location, it's just minutes from the park entrance, so it's easy to walk or take the shuttle. Everything about our stay was top-notch. We can't wait to come back.

Denise Wood, the General Manager has assembled a staff that rivals any high priced resort. The staff went out of its way to ensure our comfort, especially at the front desk who helped with our early check-in. Our room was modern, spacious, quiet and clean. The beds were remarkably comfortable. We loved the family oriented staff, pool, bingo, fire pit and daily breakfast which offered a variety of tasty options. The proximity to the entrance of Zion Natl. Park was also super convenient. We will definitely return next year!

First impressions…read morewere great - we were checked in at the front desk by the charismatic "Mr. Rock n Roll" who got us all squared away and asked if we needed any recommendations for anything in the area, provided us a map dotted with local eateries and general directions to and around the Park. Our room was on the ground floor with two queen beds, a beautiful view across the parking lot of the red rocks and easy access to and from the parking lot (which was much appreciated since it was super cold and started to flurry overnight and into the next day). The room itself was spacious and clean, the fridge worked really well (almost TOO well - it froze our drinks!), everything was well stocked. We utilized the jacuzzi one evening despite it being in the 30s, which was clean and relaxing after a long day of travel and hiking around. The only drawback we experienced during our stay was regarding the breakfast situations during the two mornings we were there. Apparently there was an emergency floor repair in the kitchen which meant they were unable to access it to prepare the continental spread that Hampton Inn is so well-known for. Instead, each morning there were stacks of brown takeaway boxes pre-filled with different food selections, which were displayed at the front of the dining room, but the boxes were not clearly marked so people were having to open them to examine the contents of each box. The staff members were absolutely not to blame - they were running around the dining room constantly, checking on guests and seeing what they could bring out from the back to ensure everyone had what they wanted and needed. For kids, they were running back and finding cold cereal, juices, etc. If there was a vegetarian, they were finding options (i.e. frozen potato and egg breakfast burritos) for them, too. They had brought in extra microwaves to accommodate everyone having to warm their own food. I heard a few guests grumbling but the staff remained warm and friendly. One staff member in particular, Annette, deserves special recognition. She was answering everyone's questions, letting them know the repair was unfortunately expected to take 3 weeks, and that they were only 2 days into their new "routine" so they only expected it to get better and run smoother as they got into their rhythm. When our 6-year-old decided she didn't like anything on offer one of the mornings and was getting antsy, Annette walked her over to the front desk and let her pick out a coloring book to keep her occupied while mom and dad finished their breakfasts. Thank you, Annette, for helping us keep our sanity! Overall, you just can't beat the value for the price, the proximity to the Park and everything else there is to see in Springdale and Zion. We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely stay again.

Located a 3 minute drive from Zion National Park or a short, free shuttle ride to the park (stop #4…read more- stop across the street to the park). You could get on the shuttle stop to the left of the hotel to go further down the main street if you didn't want to walk. At check-in, they gave us a big sheet of helpful information showing us the town and the park shuttle stops. Springdale is very convenient, you can walk to several other restaurants and stores from the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious quiet and had a wonderful balcony with two chairs and a table to sit and admire the incredible mountain view. The room has a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, a really nice Keurig coffee maker (modern, made coffee quickly), generic Keurig coffee cups, and a couch with a large open area and a separate TV (another by the bed). There was a long bench which was nice for my husband's bigger suitcase and a luggage rack. The bathroom was compact. My knee was about 2" from the open door. There was enough sink counter space. When you shower, make sure the doors are positioned so the one by the shower head closes completely touches the wall. My husband had the other one which didn't touch the wall, and the water flowed between the doors and was flooding the floor. We declined daily housekeeping with our Do Not Disturb sign, and Housekeeping put a plastic bin of bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and a new roll of toilet paper by our door. First hotel where I have ever seen this! As a woman who feels anxiety when there is no spare toilet paper and the one on the wall is getting small, this was greatly appreciated! There are several units of rooms, so you have to walk outside for breakfast. We were in room 231, B unit on the corner. Stairs on one side and an elevator on the other side of the building. Behind it is the pool and hot tub. The water felt really cool in April, and the hot tub more warm than hot. A family with small kids was playing in it. Pool is open 7 am - 10 pm. There are outdoor firepits and a laundry building (24 hrs). The breakfast had scrambled eggs, one type of breakfast meat, and hash brown potatoes that were heavily peppered. The first morning, they were mostly black with pepper. That was the main drawback for me. Breakfast is 6 am - 10 am. Maintenance came after 1 pm the next day, like I requested to address water that had been trickling out of our shower. He tightened the shower head and showed not to tighten the turn-off knob too much (which I also had found out the previous night). Very nice person. End of April 2026, we paid $316/night or $362.48 with taxes/night. I had never paid over $1,000 at a Best Western before, but the room and staff were very good, and shuttle and park convenience were perfect.
