I had the pleasure of staying at the SpringHill Suites Springdale during my visit to Zion National Park, and I can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable and convenient hotel stays I've had in a long time! Location: The location is absolutely perfect. Nestled just outside the entrance to Zion National Park, it's only a short drive to the park's main attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the stunning landscapes. Plus, Springdale itself is a charming town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance of the hotel. Check-in & Service: The check-in process was smooth and quick. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They gave us helpful recommendations for local dining and trail options, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was always available and ready to assist with any questions, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Room & Comfort: The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed in a suite, which had a comfortable king-size bed, a pull-out sofa, a large work desk, and a mini-fridge, microwave, and sink area. The room also had a great-sized bathroom with a big walk-in shower -- perfect after a day of hiking! What stood out to me was the quietness of the room -- even though it was fully booked, we were never disturbed by outside noise. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were soft, making it easy to get a good night's rest after long days exploring Zion. Amenities: Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. There was a great variety of hot and cold options, from scrambled eggs and sausage to yogurt, fruit, and pastries. The breakfast area was clean, and there was plenty of seating available. Pool & Hot Tub: The outdoor pool was a nice touch, and after a day of hiking, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The pool area was clean and well-maintained with plenty of chairs to lounge in while enjoying the beautiful mountain views. Fitness Center: The hotel also had a fitness center, which was well-equipped for a hotel gym, offering a few cardio machines and weights for a quick workout. Shuttle Service: They also provide a free shuttle service to Zion National Park, which is incredibly convenient if you want to avoid the hassle of finding parking at the park. The shuttle service runs frequently, making it super easy to get into the park without dealing with parking fees. Cleanliness: The hotel was exceptionally clean. The common areas were always tidy, and the rooms were well-kept with fresh towels and linens each day. Housekeeping did a great job maintaining the space, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Overall Experience: Our stay at SpringHill Suites Springdale was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel's location, service, amenities, and comfort made it the perfect home base for exploring Zion National Park. Whether you're here for a short stay or a longer visit, this hotel provides everything you need to relax and recharge after a day of outdoor adventures. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to Zion -- it's a great value, and the quality of service and accommodations truly made our trip special. Highly recommend!

By far the most disorganized and rude front desk experience I've ever had. After traveling all day, we arrived to find our room still not ready despite waiting an hour after standard check-in, along with several other frustrated guests. Staff blamed being short-staffed, but were rude and dismissive throughout. Though the rooms were spacious and had a great view/location, they weren't very clean (dusty vent, rusted fixtures, gnats on the ceiling) or well maintained (bathroom door handle fell off, reading lamp hanging by wires). Great location, but not worth the cost or hassle until management and staffing improve.

Easy check in and great location. The room was spacious and very clean! Within walking distance to many places. The pool area was great and the breakfast was very good!

I can't rave about this hotel enough. This might be the first hotel where everything was as advertised. The pictures they show you of your rooms when you're booking are exactly what to expect. The check in was quick and super friendly. This was the first hotel in the past year out of six that brought the pack and play requested quickly. The hotel was clean and the views were extraordinary. The pool was clean and perfect and the steps are wide enough for a one year old to play in. And you can see the cliffs from the pool. We saw deer walking back to our room. The whole place is nicely designed, super comfortable and very clean. The breakfast included made sure everything was fresh and I could always see workers around the hotel managing and cleaning constantly, either making sure pool hotels were stocked or even the lobby was clean. The hotel is close enough to shuttle to the park too and one stop away from a bunch of restaurants in Springdale. This hotel is very family friendly and I think the best one out of so many hotels we've stayed in with our toddler, including the room design and service.

What a beautiful setting for a hotel! There is a shuttle stop into Zion right at the end of the driveway to the hotel. There are several good restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. The pool and hot tub were not only enjoyable but also therapeutic after long hikes in Zion. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Sunrise from the continental breakfast, beyond beautiful.

I have enjoyed my stay here. It was very close to the visitor center, where the shuttles picked up. The location is great to all food places, some places are walkable but it's summer so it's HOT. Pool was refreshing, breakfast was yummy, I have no complaints. It's dog friendly, and our dog had a great time.

The Marriott does it again... this hotel is just fabulous with amazing jaw dropping views of the surrounding mountains of Zion. The hotel appears relatively new. The lobby is stunning with massive windows opening out onto a heated patio (gas fire) and an outdoor pool area. The lobby is very spacious and clean. Our room was perfect with beautiful rooms, modern decor and of course a prime view of the mountains. The staff are super helpful & kind. We had a great breakfast with hot and cold items on a buffet style bar. Perfect for what we needed. It's an ideal location to the Main Street of Springdale with shuttle access to Zion across the street.

    Wow! View from lobby

Very nice and clean hotel close to Zion National Park is exactly what we were looking for. Just 1 mile from the park to be exact. Our double queen room had a large bathroom, small living room, TV, large closet for your gear, and desk. It also had a beautiful view. Breakfast is included and the buffet is pretty good with a little of everything one might want for breakfast. The lobby has a pool table if you get bored late at night.

SpringHill Suites is located down the street from the entrance to Zion National Park. If you haven't been to Springdale before or in a while, they are growing the area constantly with new hotels and lodging. They have a few new restaurants in the area too. This location is beautiful with all of the mountains in the background. They have a large swimming pool on site, a patio area with a fireplace, and the complimentary breakfast is actually pretty good! The lobby area has plenty of seating since that is where the breakfast area is too. They have a little room off to the side with a pool table and up on the second floor of the main building is a gym with all of your basic equipment. The rooms are spacious and on the larger side which is why it's called a suite. One area has a TV, couch, table and a patio area. There's a small walkway towards the bedroom that has a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and Keurig machine. When you enter the bedroom they have the beds, another TV, walk in closet, and a spacious bathroom. Overall, I thought SpringHill Suites was a great place to stay for our trip. The accommodations were nice and the warm breakfast in the morning was a great way to start off the day before hiking in Zion!

For start to finish this place was great. There was one hiccup during our stay but the staffs attentiveness over shadowed any issues that arose. I made the reservation online and was able to check in on my app. You can even get a digital key if needed. However it's important you stop at the front desk so you can get your parking voucher. As well they will get you information about the area from stores that are open to the hiking trails at Zion. I have been to Zion in the summer but thought it would be a wonderful idea to visit for the winter and let me tell you it's a game changer. Since we stayed during the week the hotel was not crowded or busy. They have a great breakfast buffet that serves warm options along side many other breakfast treats. The view, in the lobby and your room are stunning. Waking up looking out the window or sipping a warm cup of coffee with the views of Zion park are heavenly! All rooms come equipped with a mini fridge and microwave which is perfect since so many restaurants in the area are closed for the season. One of the days during our stay we got back to our room and the door would not lock. It turned out the battery was dead in the door and it needed to be replaced. My phone didn't have service in the area and we needed to use to ladies room urgently said had to walk all the way to the front of the hotel talk to the concierge to get the door issue resolved. It was fixed very quickly and they called to let me know. I will definitely stay here again the next time we visit zion. Oh and bonus points it's dog friendly! A nice couple had their Great Dane, so we look forward to bring our Dane next time.

Be still my heart! When a place to sleep is as wonderful as the beauty of the locale - well, life is good! After a stunning drive to Zion, we were welcomed and our room was in a second building, adjacent to the Lobby and main area. We'd had a late breakfast, and after a short walk through the town, we so enjoyed our simple wine & cheese dinner on a patio alcove outside with an incredible view. We found and walked along a short walking path off the main road before heading back. Our room was quiet and comfortable: we could easily adjust the temperature and the bed was good. The complementary breakfast was simple but tasty - with plenty of tables for all the diners. After walking 3 trails, that afternoon we had hot showers, then walked across the quiet street for a nice meal at the Dolivia before again walking the quiet trail through the property. This Springhill Suites will be highly recommended to all our traveling friends.

View east towards the pool from a south-facing room.

TLDR: Comfortable rooms with views on either side of the building. Reasonably priced for being about one mile from Zion's entrance. Within walking distance of food and shopping. On-site EV charging (fee applies) is a nice amenity. The small market in the lobby has some essential travel items for convenience. Pretty great. Some small, nitpicky details: Breakfast is included, tasty overall, and well-stocked, but gets repetitive after a few days (perhaps adding bacon as a meat option and more veggie options that aren't breads or oatmeal). Very bread-oriented (English muffins, bagels, tea scones, waffles, and oatmeal make up 3/4 of the options). They did have yogurts (Add Greek style, please!) and carton milks (think public school) The jacuzzi had an inconsistent temperature. The pool was cool or cold but not freezing. Minor fit and finish details in the room showed the property's age or ample usage.

Beautiful hotel nestled in front of a majestic zion. Love the modern unique design that efficiently uses the space and makes it feel bigger. With great furnishing and comfortable beds we loved our stay. Breakfast was yummy with sausages fluffy eggs perfectly cooked waffles and great fresh coffee. The location is further away from the entrance but a really close shuttle to take you there. Pet friendly you do pay $75 but it was worth the beautiful accommodations.

Ask the Community - SpringHill Suites by Marriott Springdale Zion National Park

Is there a shuttle from Marriott to the park?

Springdale runs a shuttle from town to the park, I believe the frequency depends on the season.

Where can we buy beer in Springdale Ut?

The Springhill Suites sells single beers in their pantry. There are also several brew pubs near by.

The hotel looked more like a ski resort with cozy cabins and the views it had to offer from each room were just breathtaking, specially with the sound of the Virgin river running along the entire property added to the magic of this place. The rooms were very clean with every amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were the warmest and friendliest I have recently encountered, catering to our every need as well as giving us useful advice on activities and places to eat and visit. However, the Desert Pearl is well-deserving of a positive review. I first discovered this place 26 years ago, and I estimate that I have stayed here 20 times over the years. Over 26 years, never once have I been disappointed. I have recommended this place countless times to my family and friends. For starters, the rooms have a rustic modern style with expansive balconies or patios that include Adirondack chairs for relaxing while taking in the views of the red mountains, which are right in front of you. When awaking in the morning, simply roll up the shades, and you can enjoy the sunrise on the mountains while in bed or while having a cup of coffee on the loveseat in the seating area. The kitchenette is a nice addition, especially on hiking days. You can make yourself a simple breakfast prior to your morning hike(s). On lazier days, the addition of the restaurant was a major upgrade within the past few years. One request for management: The coffeemakers could use an upgrade to full-sized models with additional coffee mugs also stocked. However, I will note the availability of a small drawer-type dishwasher that is also included in the kitchenette. Location: The DPI is conveniently located in Springdale with a shuttle stop right in front of the hotel. There are many restaurant, shopping, and art/photo galleries located easily within walking distance. The entrance to Zion National Park is just a short shuttle ride (1mile) to the visitor's center or short car ride to the entrance to the park. I appreciate management's ability to maintain the beauty of the rooms and grounds over the years. The pool and spa are always in great shape. Electric vehicle parking spots have also been added. One future upgrade request: I like the bathroom design with separate sink/closet area and separate shower/toilet area. The pocket sliding doors are also a nice space-saving feature. However, I would like to see a shower makeover to a larger, more modern walk-in design rather than a tub and shower curtain (I do appreciate the curved curtain rod to gain space.) design. Overall, I rate this 5-stars. The Desert Pearl is truly one of my favorite hotels of all time. I look forward to my next visit!

Our room was on the ground floor with two queen beds, a beautiful view across the parking lot of the red rocks and easy access to and from the parking lot (which was much appreciated since it was super cold and started to flurry overnight and into the next day). The room itself was spacious and clean, the fridge worked really well (almost TOO well - it froze our drinks!), everything was well stocked. We utilized the jacuzzi one evening despite it being in the 30s, which was clean and relaxing after a long day of travel and hiking around. The only drawback we experienced during our stay was regarding the breakfast situations during the two mornings we were there. Apparently there was an emergency floor repair in the kitchen which meant they were unable to access it to prepare the continental spread that Hampton Inn is so well-known for. Instead, each morning there were stacks of brown takeaway boxes pre-filled with different food selections, which were displayed at the front of the dining room, but the boxes were not clearly marked so people were having to open them to examine the contents of each box. The staff members were absolutely not to blame - they were running around the dining room constantly, checking on guests and seeing what they could bring out from the back to ensure everyone had what they wanted and needed. For kids, they were running back and finding cold cereal, juices, etc. If there was a vegetarian, they were finding options (i.e. frozen potato and egg breakfast burritos) for them, too. They had brought in extra microwaves to accommodate everyone having to warm their own food. I heard a few guests grumbling but the staff remained warm and friendly. One staff member in particular, Annette, deserves special recognition. She was answering everyone's questions, letting them know the repair was unfortunately expected to take 3 weeks, and that they were only 2 days into their new "routine" so they only expected it to get better and run smoother as they got into their rhythm. When our 6-year-old decided she didn't like anything on offer one of the mornings and was getting antsy, Annette walked her over to the front desk and let her pick out a coloring book to keep her occupied while mom and dad finished their breakfasts. Thank you, Annette, for helping us keep our sanity! Overall, you just can't beat the value for the price, the proximity to the Park and everything else there is to see in Springdale and Zion. We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely stay again.

You could get on the shuttle stop to the left of the hotel to go further down the main street if you didn't want to walk. At check-in, they gave us a big sheet of helpful information showing us the town and the park shuttle stops. Springdale is very convenient, you can walk to several other restaurants and stores from the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious quiet and had a wonderful balcony with two chairs and a table to sit and admire the incredible mountain view. The room has a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, a really nice Keurig coffee maker (modern, made coffee quickly), generic Keurig coffee cups, and a couch with a large open area and a separate TV (another by the bed). There was a long bench which was nice for my husband's bigger suitcase and a luggage rack. The bathroom was compact. My knee was about 2" from the open door. There was enough sink counter space. When you shower, make sure the doors are positioned so the one by the shower head closes completely touches the wall. My husband had the other one which didn't touch the wall, and the water flowed between the doors and was flooding the floor. We declined daily housekeeping with our Do Not Disturb sign, and Housekeeping put a plastic bin of bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and a new roll of toilet paper by our door. First hotel where I have ever seen this! As a woman who feels anxiety when there is no spare toilet paper and the one on the wall is getting small, this was greatly appreciated! There are several units of rooms, so you have to walk outside for breakfast. We were in room 231, B unit on the corner. Stairs on one side and an elevator on the other side of the building. Behind it is the pool and hot tub. The water felt really cool in April, and the hot tub more warm than hot. A family with small kids was playing in it. Pool is open 7 am - 10 pm. There are outdoor firepits and a laundry building (24 hrs). The breakfast had scrambled eggs, one type of breakfast meat, and hash brown potatoes that were heavily peppered. The first morning, they were mostly black with pepper. That was the main drawback for me. Breakfast is 6 am - 10 am. Maintenance came after 1 pm the next day, like I requested to address water that had been trickling out of our shower. He tightened the shower head and showed not to tighten the turn-off knob too much (which I also had found out the previous night). Very nice person. End of April 2026, we paid $316/night or $362.48 with taxes/night. I had never paid over $1,000 at a Best Western before, but the room and staff were very good, and shuttle and park convenience were perfect.

The location is perfect, just minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park. Everything was also walkable where we could drink without needing to drive. I also loved having the bar and restaurant downstairs, plus a pool and hot tub to relax in after our long days of hiking. The daily included breakfast was a big bonus and made starting our mornings easy without having to go elsewhere. The room immediately stood out for how clean it was, with high ceilings that made it feel open and spacious. The layout was well thought out, with convenient space for our hiking gear and places to hang everything. Also, the TV was noticeably huge, possibly the largest one I've ever seen in a hotel room! And if you forget anything , such as toothbrush and toothpaste they can provide that to you! Definitely would come back here without hesitation. It's such a beautiful property with an amazing view of Zion right outside our windows.

There are nice fire pits outside with red rock views. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. There are a few restaurants located in the same area. I was surprised that there was a $10 parking fee per day. If you're staying at a hotel, you shouldn't have to pay for parking.
