This could have easily been resolved when we checked in but instead they cancelled my reservation and gave our room away. We were stuck without a hotel room in a busy tourist town on a Friday night. Their management never returned my request to resolve the issue. Do not stay here if you reservation room rate is lower than same day booking rate. They will pull the rug right out from underneath you. read more

I had the pleasure of staying at the SpringHill Suites Springdale during my visit to Zion National Park, and I can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable and convenient hotel stays I've had in a long time! Location: The location is absolutely perfect. Nestled just outside the entrance to Zion National Park, it's only a short drive to the park's main attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the stunning landscapes. Plus, Springdale itself is a charming town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance of the hotel. Check-in & Service: The check-in process was smooth and quick. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They gave us helpful recommendations for local dining and trail options, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was always available and ready to assist with any questions, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Room & Comfort: The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed in a suite, which had a comfortable king-size bed, a pull-out sofa, a large work desk, and a mini-fridge, microwave, and sink area. The room also had a great-sized bathroom with a big walk-in shower -- perfect after a day of hiking! What stood out to me was the quietness of the room -- even though it was fully booked, we were never disturbed by outside noise. After traveling all day, we arrived to find our room still not ready despite waiting an hour after standard check-in, along with several other frustrated guests. Though the rooms were spacious and had a great view/location, they weren't very clean (dusty vent, rusted fixtures, gnats on the ceiling) or well maintained (bathroom door handle fell off, reading lamp hanging by wires). From the outset, our stay was awful due to extremely poor customer service. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated long before any comfort or convenience could matter. At check-in, the night-shift staff came across as rude and unhelpful. When we reported a problem with the TV, he offered no immediate solution beyond saying maintenance would come in the morning, and there was no offer to switch rooms or provide a workable workaround. The call was eventually hung up, leaving the issue unresolved. When we confronted him in person, he repeated the same message and even told my husband that he did not like his attitude, which came across as unprofessional and unaccommodating. We escalated to the on-site manager, Trish, who was equally rude and unprofessional, seemingly siding with the staff member rather than addressing our concerns. This lack of accountability contributed to a sense of being dismissed rather than helped. Additionally, we were charged a $150 pet fee for two nights, which we believe was charged twice across two separate consecutive reservations. We called the front desk, and the staff promised she would discuss the reversal with the manager. When it wasn't reversed four days later, I was told the manager was never informed. I spoke to Trish who stated that the fee was per pet and would not be removed, despite our understanding that it should apply per stay and per pet. This rigid stance felt unfair and inconsistent with our experience. Despite noting these issues, no satisfactory resolution was achieved during our stay. Even though my husband is an employee, the treatment we received did not reflect the standards we expect from a SpringHill Suites property. The lack of flexibility and accountability was disappointing. We only stay at Marriott properties, and this is the worst stay I have ever had. They ruined our weekend getaway, and we would never stay here again. read more

Awful experience . Pool is not operational . Staff both upon check in and again when speaking with the manager were terrible . Rude, short , and unwilling to even lister . Shower leaked all over our room and the floor below . Sheets in both beds were dirty as if house keeping just made the bed up from the previous guest . The bright spot was. The Maintenance man was the one bright spot . Very nice man who was down to earth and kind. I can't rave about this hotel enough. This might be the first hotel where everything was as advertised. The pictures they show you of your rooms when you're booking are exactly what to expect. The check in was quick and super friendly. This was the first hotel in the past year out of six that brought the pack and play requested quickly. The hotel was clean and the views were extraordinary. The pool was clean and perfect and the steps are wide enough for a one year old to play in. And you can see the cliffs from the pool. We saw deer walking back to our room. The whole place is nicely designed, super comfortable and very clean. The breakfast included made sure everything was fresh and I could always see workers around the hotel managing and cleaning constantly, either making sure pool hotels were stocked or even the lobby was clean. The hotel is close enough to shuttle to the park too and one stop away from a bunch of restaurants in Springdale. This hotel is very family friendly and I think the best one out of so many hotels we've stayed in with our toddler, including the room design and service. read more

SpringHill Suites is located down the street from the entrance to Zion National Park. If you haven't been to Springdale before or in a while, they are growing the area constantly with new hotels and lodging. They have a few new restaurants in the area too. This location is beautiful with all of the mountains in the background. They have a large swimming pool on site, a patio area with a fireplace, and the complimentary breakfast is actually pretty good! The lobby area has plenty of seating since that is where the breakfast area is too. They have a little room off to the side with a pool table and up on the second floor of the main building is a gym with all of your basic equipment. The rooms are spacious and on the larger side which is why it's called a suite. One area has a TV, couch, table and a patio area. There's a small walkway towards the bedroom that has a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and Keurig machine. When you enter the bedroom they have the beds, another TV, walk in closet, and a spacious bathroom. Overall, I thought SpringHill Suites was a great place to stay for our trip. The accommodations were nice and the warm breakfast in the morning was a great way to start off the day before hiking in Zion! read more

For start to finish this place was great. There was one hiccup during our stay but the staffs attentiveness over shadowed any issues that arose. I made the reservation online and was able to check in on my app. You can even get a digital key if needed. However it's important you stop at the front desk so you can get your parking voucher. As well they will get you information about the area from stores that are open to the hiking trails at Zion. I have been to Zion in the summer but thought it would be a wonderful idea to visit for the winter and let me tell you it's a game changer. Since we stayed during the week the hotel was not crowded or busy. They have a great breakfast buffet that serves warm options along side many other breakfast treats. The view, in the lobby and your room are stunning. Waking up looking out the window or sipping a warm cup of coffee with the views of Zion park are heavenly! All rooms come equipped with a mini fridge and microwave which is perfect since so many restaurants in the area are closed for the season. One of the days during our stay we got back to our room and the door would not lock. It turned out the battery was dead in the door and it needed to be replaced. My phone didn't have service in the area and we needed to use to ladies room urgently said had to walk all the way to the front of the hotel talk to the concierge to get the door issue resolved. It was fixed very quickly and they called to let me know. I will definitely stay here again the next time we visit zion. Oh and bonus points it's dog friendly! A nice couple had their Great Dane, so we look forward to bring our Dane next time. read more

After a stunning drive to Zion, we were welcomed and our room was in a second building, adjacent to the Lobby and main area. We'd had a late breakfast, and after a short walk through the town, we so enjoyed our simple wine & cheese dinner on a patio alcove outside with an incredible view. We found and walked along a short walking path off the main road before heading back. Our room was quiet and comfortable: we could easily adjust the temperature and the bed was good. The complementary breakfast was simple but tasty - with plenty of tables for all the diners. After walking 3 trails, that afternoon we had hot showers, then walked across the quiet street for a nice meal at the Dolivia before again walking the quiet trail through the property. Some small, nitpicky details: Breakfast is included, tasty overall, and well-stocked, but gets repetitive after a few days (perhaps adding bacon as a meat option and more veggie options that aren't breads or oatmeal). Very bread-oriented (English muffins, bagels, tea scones, waffles, and oatmeal make up 3/4 of the options). They did have yogurts (Add Greek style, please!) and carton milks (think public school) The jacuzzi had an inconsistent temperature. The pool was cool or cold but not freezing. Beautiful hotel nestled in front of a majestic zion. Love the modern unique design that efficiently uses the space and makes it feel bigger. We (three ladies) stayed here during our weekend jaunt to Zion and Bryce Canyon and it was a pretty nice stay, all things considered. My friend was able to score a rather awesome deal (she booked initially and rebooked again a couple of weeks later for a 30% discount), after repeatedly checking back on rates during our intended weekend stay so I would suggest doing that if you intend to stay here. It's obviously very conveniently located near Zion park and a handful of small cafes, restaurants, and food stores. I typically stay at IHG hotels due to my rewards credit card, but this place has me thinking maybe I should switch over to Marriott? For completely ridiculous reasons - they offer oat milk and blueberry compote as part of the morning buffet! Okay, and because this hotel had a more luxe feel than the Holiday Inns, I've stayed at, but it is probably not representative of all Marriott hotels. The fitness center was also pretty nice, as far as hotel fitness centers go - all the equipment was in great shape. The hotel had a hot tub that some of the other guests took advantage of during our rather frigid time spent in the area. There's also a nice fire pit situation right outside of the dining area, and the front desk offers beer for purchase, should you want to chillax and just gaze out at the incredible mountainous views from the hotel. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds, and although it had an odd layout, it worked out for us. It felt rather clean and well maintained. HOWEVER, as with most hotels, be forewarned that the walls are pretty paper thin. There was an absolutely hysterical baby or toddler screaming and crying for over 30 minutes in the room next to us (I think?), and it felt like the toddler was right in the room with us. Given that it was 11PM, my friend did call the front desk to inform them, and it looks like a couple of our other neighbors had already called but the inhabitants of that hotel room weren't responsive to the front desk's calls. Anyway, that's a risk that comes with all hotel stays and just depends on the luck of the draw! read more

My first impression when walking in my room was shock. It was not only clean and tastefully decorated but the room was huge and spacious. We had the double queen bed room with a pull out couch. It could have easily slept 6. The hotel had all the luxury items like continental breakfast, wifi, pool, hot tub and cable. I was particularly impressed with breakfast which had some more thoughtful options that most hotels. It's also in close proximity to Zion and we scored an off season rate. The refuse was single stream. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to all the nearby restaurants & we walked about a mile to get to the Zion canyon visitor's center. We recently stayed at this Marriott and it was not a pleasant experience. The first night we dealt with the most rude front desk staff. Then in the morning, we woke up to a cockroach in our tub. Disgusting. When I brought up our concerns to the manager, Jodi she simply apologized for her employees behavior. And regarding the cockroach, her response was "well, we are in the desert" so I guess it's acceptable for the facility to have cockroaches on their second floor because "they're in the desert" HA! I loved my stay at Springhill in January 2022. The hotel was clean and modern. I was really just drawn to the main entrance which has a beautiful view of the mountains. I highly recommend if you're looking for a dog friendly location. There is a park less than half a mile away where you can take the pooches if you want them to run around for a bit. Tv has netflix installed where you can sign in with your account and watch your fave shows. Views from the room were stunning! Daily breakfast was good. Sausages, eggs, fresh fruits, oatmeal and variety of bread and spread were what was available during our stay. Coffee and hot cocoa available all day! Restaurants are within walking distance. It's located not far to the entrance of Zion national park. The hotel looked amazing, it's all decorated for the holidays and is absolutely beautiful. This Springhill Suites hits all the right notes for a hotel: clean, efficient, hassle free, large rooms, awesome pool, great views, free breakfast. What more could you ask for? I can't really think of much. The suites in this brand of hotel can accomodate a family of 5 or 6 which can be pretty hard to find. The suite we had included two queen beds in a bedroom, a hallway with a small refrigerator and sink, as well as another room with a TV and a trundle bed with a couch. Everything was clean, modern, and felt new. The pool here has an awesome view in of the red mountains of Zion in two directions. During the sunset, one mountain casts a shadow on the other and it can be quite spectacular to watch, relax, and enjoy. There is also a jacuzzi that can fit about 10 people. It's a nice place to chill after a long day of hiking and exploration. The staff was courteous and nice, ready to help when we needed it. There was plenty of parking and the location was easy to find. Five stars. Among the better hotel stays my family has had recently! read more

This was a fantastic surprising modern hotel find to come across that is situated in a pretty good location just off the main busy drag, stocked very attentive service employees at the front to help out. I was not aware of the Springhill Suites line despite using Marriott hotels quite frequently, and I would classify this place as a very upscale Courtyard-type Marriott (but with regular modern rooms and full breakfasts). The pool is great with a water feature nearby, and was very nice to cool down in from the 100 degree heat. The big positives are: 1. The View and its Location are really awesome! Easy parking lot access from the wrap-around lots. BUT you should try to get a room facing the back of the building as there are better views of the gorgeous rock canyon walls on that side (even from first floor rooms). 2. Location is great--nearby is a fancy Italian spot, and in front of the hotel (sorta) is the tram that you NEED TO TAKE if going to the Zion Valley as NO CARS are allowed there for visiting. You can walk just a few blocks to the way-too-crowded Pizza joint, coffee shop, ice cream shop, grocery market and Zion Visitor Center/Rental shop. 3. Modern rooms with ~11-ft ceilings. TVs though are located in a weird spot of the rooms with no couch directly in front. MICROWAVES, Mini fridges and Keurig machines are in each room. There is a small area to buy snacks/drinks/misc., and a cool pool table in the front area. 4. Front desk people are super friendly and helpful. Big shout-out to Ondra whom helped me with a Marriott points problem that corporate couldn't resolve. 5. Complementary hot breakfasts with eggs, sausage and waffles (plus all the drinks, breads, cereals that are typically found). Reminds me of Embassy Suites breakfasts. Not the best breakfast--but hey, they are free! 6. Pool is just a short walk from the rooms and is outdoors. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. If I had to say anything negative it would be about the bathroom. The toilet is not separate from the rest of the bathroom and the barn door to the bathroom is really heavy and doesn't open or close easily. The hotel is doing a great job under Covid restrictions. Breakfast is still being served as heated prepackaged foods. I appreciate that it is still a hot breakfast. They had breakfast sandwiches and burritos but also cereal and fruit. The coffee is good. You can beat the views of Zion from the back hotel patio. Overall, a very nice place to stay. read more
