Great hotel just a couple miles from the Zion National Park entrance. It is also waking distance from al the restaurants, shops and the supermarket in town. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. If I had to say anything negative it would be about the bathroom. The toilet is not separate from the rest of the bathroom and the barn door to the bathroom is really heavy and doesn't open or close easily. The hotel is doing a great job under Covid restrictions. Breakfast is still being served as heated prepackaged foods. I appreciate that it is still a hot breakfast. They had breakfast sandwiches and burritos but also cereal and fruit. The coffee is good. You can beat the views of Zion from the back hotel patio. Overall, a very nice place to stay. read more

We stayed for just one night, a Saturday in early December. It's a beautiful hotel from the outside and even more so inside. The views in the lobby are amazing and it's set up as a place to hang out even when it's not breakfast time - fireplace, pool table, lots of seating. It was a little chilly for the outdoor patio, but they had cafe lights and it would be a perfect spot to hang out in warmer months. The room was large, a HUGE closet, and the sofa bed was actually a trundle. One kid slept on the trundle and we put a sheet on the sofa part for the other and they were both comfortable and happy for their own space. We were tired from a busy day in Zion, but I think we would have slept well here no matter what. Breakfast was typical Marriott fare, including the slowest toasters in the world, but I always make a breakfast sandwich that is enjoyable. The location is great, you could walk to Zion and at the end of the day there are a few restaurants within walking distance. If we're back in Springdale, this is where we'll stay for sure. read more

We had an amazing stay for 3 nights. Lobby was absolutely beautiful, and the views were breathtaking. Jason at the front desk was super nice and accommodating ( we actually booked an extra night) Patty, who took care of the breakfast area, was super nice. There were so many choices, and so clean. They ran out of these sconces that we loved, and the next thing we knew, she brought us out a plate of them. We enjoyed talking to her every morning, and she gave us great recommendations The room was clean. We chose this hotel on a whim. We were going to camp majority of our trip but wanted to pick a hotel for after our hike through the narrows for a shower. We ended up staying long we because of Dory and Denise! We felt so welcomed by Dory before check in and Denise was there after her and I booked a second night. For Covid time, I felt very comfortable staying in the hotel. Breakfast was Covid based as well but it saved us time from going to a restaurant and getting to the shuttle. There's also a shuttle right in front of the hotel super convenient and being in the middle of town we were in walking distance to everything. We were really looking forward to our stay but unfortunately it has been a huge disappointment. As others have reported, we reserved a king suite only to be changed to a room with 2 queens the morning of our arrival. Since my husband and I were in the middle of a weeklong motorcycle trip and this was our "splurge hotel" for 2 nights, I called and spoke with the manager (Jody) and attempted to get changed back to our original confirmed room category. She informed me that they are required by corporate to oversell the hotel and there was nothing she could do about the room change. She admitted that the (king) room category was already sold out when I booked the room a week ago which is why I was charged so much (we paid almost $600/night). This news was like rubbing salt into the wound since a week ago there were lots of options (most for less money) but now there's no vacancy anywhere in Springdale. The double queen room we were changed to would be great for a big family but it's horrible for a couple. It's large but poorly laid out with tons of wasted space. A huge walk in closet and totally separate sitting room with pull out couch was of no value to us and the bedroom was cramped with 2 beds. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. read more

Avoid at all costs and watch out for a room bait and switch. We booked a king and got swapped to two queens and couldn't fix this no matter how hard we tried. The front desk was extremely rude and told me flat out that this is their policy and that it's my fault for not knowing it. Stayed here June 22-26, 2020. Clean, well-maintained grounds and pool area, fantastic views of the towering red rock cliffs, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we return to Zion. We stayed in extra large double-queen suite which was perfect for our family of four. The walk-in closet was an added bonus and so great to be able to have all of our luggage tucked away easily. No housekeeping for the 4 nights that we stayed but completely understandable given covid-times and I agree with this policy, makes sense. read more

This was my 2nd time coming out to Zion and I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I enjoyed how close it was to Zion because it wasn't a long drive. The staff were all friendly and they made sure my room was cleaned. My view was beautiful and I really liked that they serve free breakfast. They also have a pool and a jacuzzi but I spent more time in the pool because it was way too hot for me to be in a jacuzzi. Overall, if your looking for a family friendly hotel and is not far from Zion this is definitely the hotel for you. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff for your hard-work and friendly faces! For the area, these suites are probably one of the favorite places I've stayed. The unique layout provides a lot of openness and there is a definite modern feel without compromising comfort. Some, if not all, of the furniture is from West Elm, which gave that extra contemporary atmosphere. I felt really at home from the get-go. The flatscreen tv had Netflix and Hulu built into it. My husband and I could easily catch up on our Netflix movies and series right from our hotel room just by signing in. The hotel made it clear that when we checked out, all log in information would be cleared, and it was. The bathroom entrance had one of those barn style sliding doors. It completely bypasses that awkwardness of having the door open into the bathroom and blocking access to the toilet or shower. The beds had nightstands with built in lights. These lights also included side mounted smaller reading lights. Our room window was large. It gave us great views of Zion's colorful rocks, which was the "backside" of the hotel. We shared the same view as those sitting on the patio while eating breakfast. Every day, breakfast was complimentary from 6 or 7am until 10am. If you went to the patio, an impressive sized fire pit provided warmth while also added to the breath-taking scenery behind it. The breakfast usually featured bacon and or sausage, eggs scrambled, and potatoes. Another counter featured bagels, toast, muffins with all the spreads and fixings as well as oatmeal. Of course, there was a fruit assortment that varies daily. The waffle makers were probably the most popular of all the breakfast array. They were noisy little things with all the unnecessary beeping, but they cooked waffles fast! This hotel was on the pricier side, but a lot of the hotels in the area were expensive too. We felt that it was worth staying here, because it's basically brand new, since it was finished in late Spring 2017. Beautiful location for this property and very conveniently located at stop 6 for the Springdale bus line that heads in to the Zion park - this is key for you during the rush season allowing the "chance" of getting in the bus before the busy stops like 5 and 4 where they have far less chance getting on. Upgraded room to the larger suite was beautiful- very large and spacious with an extra separate living space that had a pull out couch- easily could have slept a family of 5 here with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. Frig + a coffee maker = all good things. Wonderful breakfast- lots of options! But no safe in the room? Hmm... i found this a struggle for me as I needed to work a bit and had my laptop with me. I did not want to leave it in a "safety deposit box" at the front desk and wasn't a fan of leaving it in my car. read more

I have to give this place two stars because of how terrible one of the front desk people treated us. I booked a king suite ahead of time and I paid in advance using some of my points. I went to check in and they told me "we don't have a king suite right now." I was upset because I PAID IN ADVANCE. I called my travel agent to see if there were accommodations to be made because I was essentially forced to accept the double queen they gave me. I didn't want a double queen because my partner and I don't like sleeping in separate beds. So we were told "it's the same price and it's bigger" the room size isn't the issue, it's the bed. This older lady, she had long hair and mostly gray, told me verbatim "I'm sorry I don't have a saw and hammer to build you a room" before this incident I was advised by my travel agency to talk to them in person, little did I know that I was going to be met with sarcastic remarks and and discrimination. She then proceeded to tell me "You don't have to stay here if you don't want to" as if we had a choice. We were traveling from California. She really had the gall to tell us to essentially leave. Really? That's your solution. They then proceed to tell us that only platinum members can make such requests. So to everyone traveling to Zion national park, please avoid this place if you can. If you aren't a platinum member don't expect to get the room you booked even if you paid in advance. Don't expect to be treated like a client either, at the very least by the evening front desk members. The morning front desk members were very kind, but the ones that I met at around 4:15 on September 26, 2023 were horrible. They were absolute nightmares. More specifically the older lady who was extremely condescending and sarcastic. This lady in particular was white with long gray hair. Though I didn't get the name, I remember the experience all too well. If you want to risk being treated terribly, by a front desk person in the evening, be my guest. If you're not a platinum member, I can guarantee you they will tell you "too bad" if you didn't get the room that you booked on line. One of the biggest issues that baffled me was she also said "You were promised a room, and you got a room" she basically told me to suck it up and deal with it. There was no resolution or responsibility on their end. Be very wary of staying here because you may very well risk running into a front desk person that will treat you as less than because you're expecting a room that you booked and paid for in advance. The views are nice, the customer service of their front desk is risky, mainly because you can run the risk of being treated like dirt if you get the wrong one. So if you want a good experience and a good stay, I say try your luck at cliffrose hotel which is closer to the entrance of the park, or even the Hampton inn or la Quinta. I stayed here once before and had a good experience and got the room I booked. I didn't even pay in advance that time. This time around I paid in advance and I didn't get the room I booked and was met with sarcasm and a snarky attitude. I was also discriminated against just because I wasn't a platinum member. This experience alone ruined a whole day of my vacation and was completely unacceptable and unnecessary. I hope they let her go or at the very least make her take a conflict resolution training. What's worse, is that she seemed like a supervisor. read more

Magnificent location right by Zion National Park. You can walk to the entrance to the park or walk to the shuttle right in front of the hotel. Watching the sunset by the hotel has its advantages and it's truly stunning. Try booking here far in advance because I wanted to stay here for two nights but the second night was already all booked up. I will definitely return as a guest in the future because of the hospitality and the ability to charge my electric car for free! read more

Can I just check in for like a month? Ok, maybe a week. This is what I was telling myself as I sat beside the pool Monday evening after dark. This place was really a whole scene and I appreciated every bit of it. From check in, to the spacious suite equipped with really everything I'd need except for robes and slippers, to the morning brekke (that I really didn't have much of because I wanted to get a very early start and was honestly still pretty full from dinner the night before), to the lollipops at the front counter, market offerings including beer/wine up front, pool table, sitting areas, fire pit. I mean the grounds are really just immaculate and set right under the stunning mountain range. I slept well here(although I could hear some running around on the second floor which didn't trouble me much as I knew it was probably just a few kids having a fun time) and would definitely entertain the idea of staying here in the future so long as they are the most competitive rate. Service was great and I plan on returning in the near future. There is a shuttle stop right out front, but really unless you're crazy out of shape this hotel is totally walking distance to any and everything in the area. Perfect for families and really anyone, but definitely families. read more

One night was not enough time at this Marriott property. This Springhill Suite is located near the entrance of Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah. It is a newer Springhill Suites that was built in early 2017. This hotel has everything that you need for a nice stay. As with all other Springhill Suites, a hot breakfast is included each morning with your stay. As soon as I stepped into the hotel, I felt welcomed. I immediately knew that my one night stay would not be enough. The lobby was nice and inviting with refreshments waiting for their guests. The room that we were given was nice. The room was spacious. It had a small little office area. The bathroom was adequate for our needs. They may be the only hotel that I have ever stayed at with a walk in closet. The room also had a refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. Breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit and pastries. Although nothing stood out at breakfast, it was better than going to McDonalds or a fast food restaurant over 30 miles away. The breakfast is adequate. The grounds of this property is nice. As it is surrounded by nature and its beauty. There is a nice swimming pool and a fire pit outside. The "landscaping" here makes you want to go outside. If that is not enough, they also have a pool table inside their lobby. Their lobby was just as inviting with the pool table and the refreshments inside waiting for their guests. It is one of nicer Springhill Suites that I have been to. If it hadn't been for a long 10 day road trip, I definitely would have stayed here longer. read more

Loved our stay here as first timers to Zion. The property is clean and new, and the backdrop can't be beat. We had a nice sized room for our family and the complimentary breakfast was handy especially for hungry kids in the mornings. Plenty of restaurants around to grab lunch and dinner and it's in close proximity to the entrance to the park. Recently stayed two nights and I really liked this practically brand new hotel by Marriott group. Learned they opened in mid February this year, just when I was looking for a place to stay for my second visit to Zion. Their room is very clean and spacious. Their sofa becomes a bed, ideal for a family to stay here. Complimentary breakfast was quite tasty. Compared to similar level hotels, I was very happy with their breakfast options. They are open from 6am, after a quick breakfast, have a plenty of time to catch Zion's 7am (first one) shuttle bus. If you are a late starter, in town shuttle to the park stops right in front of the hotel. Can't think of any better location that this! Their heated pool and hot jacuzzi is perfect for your tired body after a long day of hiking. Pool is open until 10pm. They have a laundry room onsite, ideal for a long term stay. Their lobby had a pool table, just buy a bottle of beer from their pantry store, now have things to do at night. Their patio has a fire place, good place to hangout at night as well. View from my room was amazing. Beautiful Zion. Zion is my favorite national park, if I have another opportunity to come back, I would definitely stay here again. read more

Stayed at this hotel recently while visiting Zion national park. There is a pretty sweet pool and jacuzzi outside against the backdrop of this red cliffs surrounding the town - it was pretty surreal. The rooms were clean with a modern decor. Location is perfect as the town was just outside the park entrance - technically we could have walked. I mean it's not a five-star hotel of which I don't know if there are any in Springdale, but for the tier it is in, you could not do better. Would definitely return if visiting Zion again. read more

Great place to stay, 2 mins away from Zion National Park. Very comfortable bed. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. Free breakfast was great, I wish they had sausage and bacon on the menu, they only had scrambled eggs and other stuff like waffles, oatmeal. Coffee in the lobby great! When we initially entered our room there was a horrible smell, I'm glad I always bring freshener with me wherever I go so I speayed a lot so the smell disappeared. There was like a little poop of a small animal inside the living room, so my husband and I started checking the whole room coz we're afraid there might be a snake or raccoon or rat or something inside. We didn't bother to call the desk coz we were so tired from driving 11 hours. But nonetheless we enjoyed our stay, staff were so very helpful. The backdraft of the hotel was the mountain, location very close to restaurants and everything. Very cute little town. Will stay there again should we decide to go back to Zion. read more

I was in Zion for my birthday and had an amazing stay here. We were able to check in early so that we could head into the park for our hikes, received fantastic customer service with every interaction, and had such a pleasant experience overall. Our room had a great view and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was still running in the winter and we loved jumping in at the end of the day. In the low season, it's almost like the whole hotel is yours. The breakfast buffet was amazing - this is not just a continental breakfast over here. And the view from the room is breathtaking; families of deer would hang out just outside the window. A welcoming fire pit is right outside with seating if you wanted to eat outside. Great fruits, yogurts, waffles, and more. We even packed little sandwiches to take on our hike for the day. On more than one occasion, there were warm cookies and treats readily available in the main lobby/room. Such a nice surprise! I do think the hotel could be better marked off the main road, but other than that - what a dream. I will definitely be back. read more

I wish I could give 5 stars for the staffing and the cleaning and the food...and zero stars for the architect but then, all Springhill Suites are pretty much alike if they are relatively new so you either like them...or not. Now...regarding THIS location...beautiful views from every room, incredibly nice staff (thank you, April, for joining me before your work shift in throwing Frisbees to my Skeeter this morning in the absolutely perfect, no traffic, beautiful St Augustine grass, large doggie convenience area). Housekeeping is right on target and always pleasant to work with, as is the front desk. When I pay for a suite, I expect a mini kitchen. TownPlace Suites have a great set-up and kitchen, especially the one in Hillsboro, Oregon. Comfort Inns Suites have a kitchen sink and cutlery. Springhill...a microwave, minifridge, and coffeemaker. There is no place to actually prepare our pineapple, which we use to garnish our frozen drinks which we could not make since there was no blender either. None of that was why I pulled points from the architecture. Here's the scoop: the architect was a lonesome introvert misogynist who was 6'8" tall. I'm 5 feet tall and I drown in the shower...not adjustable because hey...I would need a chair in the shower to stand on to reach the faucet head to move it so it didn't drown me. Doesn't go up or down like a normal showerhead invented in this millennium. Picture attached to prove. Thus, the assumption he was 6'8" tall. Also, the guy who designed this bathroom hated the thought that two people might share the kingsized bed right outside the door. Like all Springhill Suites, the sliding barn door (grey, of course...so predictable) does not allow anyone to quietly slip into the bathroom in the middle of the night. The roller noise always wakes up my husband. And I cannot turn on any lights at all unless the entire door is rolled closed because the location of the toilet door is about 30 inches from the foot of the bed, and there is not a night light. I've learned to use my flashlight in Springhill Suites. That is just wrong. Finally...maybe some people like the bed to be 40 inches from the air conditioner unit. I haven't met them yet, but someday I might find someone who wants cold air to blow in your face until the temp is reached, then clunk off, then start up again an hour later..etc. etc. read more

Loved it! Arrived and walked straight into a brand new, high-ceiling, modern but rustic hall room... with stunning custom window views of the mountains to the south east of the property. Great first impression. Large fireplace, with comfy lounge chairs, and a brand new pool table on the right, protective plexiglass check-in desk on the left (that was always staffed by at least one person at all times). Everything was quick and easy. Staff were friendly, direct, and helpful. + The location is fantastic. No more than 4-5min drive into the Zion Nation Park gates. Also walking distance to many good restaurants/cafes, markets, shops. + Decent amenities at the hotel (pool, hottub, fire pit with breathtaking views, free and easy access parking, pretty decent complementary breakfast selection -- everything individually wrapped)... + Good amenities in the room too (mini-fridge, coffee maker, desk, free wifi, good quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers, big shower with hot water, new tile, big bed, decent sized TV etc.) + IT WAS CLEAN. Everything looks brands new. No unfortunate pubes in the bathroom, weird carpet stains. Imagine sitting in front of a huge fire pit on a slightly chilly evening with a glass of wine, with a beautiful view of the mountain in front of you! Why imagine? Do it at this hotel! This is exactly what my girlfriend and I did after a hike through Zion! I have to mention that Zion is literally down the street. We walked from the entrance back to the hotel! If you don't feel like walking, there is a free shuttle line. So, back to the hotel. This hotel is brand new! In my opinion, there is a rustic, yet modern feel to this hotel. For instance, there is a sliding barn styled door that separates the bathroom from the rest of your room. The desk in the room is very modern, yet the remainder of the hotel looks and feels like a ski lodge! I posted some pics of the complimentary breakfast buffet and one pic of the view of the mountains behind the hotel! We were sitting at the restaurant across the street. Regardless , we're going back! What a treat to be there over the Thanksgiving weekend with our daughter and her husband. We stayed for 3 nights with our 3 kids while visiting Zion. This a great hotel: location is awesome, clean, up to date, and great breakfast (make your own waffles for the win) in a beautiful dining area. It's super close to Trolly stop 6 where you can take the free shuttle to the park. It's a a mile and 1/2 from the park footbridge entrance. We actually chose to walk home one evening from the park. It's an easy slightly downhill walk back to the hotel and we stopped at Zion Pizza and Noodle (highly recommend) on our way home. It broke up the walk nicely. read more

We spent 2 nights here as we were exploring Zion. Rooms are updated and very nicely decorated with efficient use of space. As a family of 5 we all fit into a suite with 2 queen beds and a couch with a trundle. The rooms also had a microwave, a mini fridge, and a large walk-in closet for storing luggage out of the way. Breakfast was included (waffles, cereal, eggs, oatmeal, pastries, whole fruit, yogurt, milk, and juice) and they had many places to sit both outdoors and indoors after getting your food from the buffet. While eating breakfast, we had an incredible view of the mountains behind the hotel. There was a large selection of bag tea and coffee available during breakfast and it appeared it was available throughout the day as well. The lobby had a small "store" with snacks, ice cream, sunscreen, etc, available for purchase. There was also a lounge/game room in the lobby which had a pool table, oversized tic tac toe, oversized connect 4, and more small games available for guests to use. For our 3 kids it was their first time playing pool and it was a very fun and enjoyable way to spend some quality time as a family after a long day of hiking. read more

Clean and convenient location to Zion National Park. The hotel was built about a year ago. There is Keurig in the room with microwave, refrigerator and sink. Wonderful free continental breakfast awaits you daily. You can enjoy the outdoor pool and jacuzzi surrounded by glorious mountains. The hotel is also walking distance to various restaurants and stores. We had checked in online and requested extra towels and soaps and they were all waiting for us when we got to the room. Only thing they couldn't accommodate us was on an upper level room. We did hear noises from up above us so if you can get a room on the second floor it would be best. There is a shuttle that takes you up and down the street. Stop #6 is in from of the hotel that takes you to the Parks Visitor Center (stop #1). You hop out and will then go into the parks entrance where you pay and then can take the Parks shuttle which will take you inside the park. All in all, we loved it and would definitely come back again on our next trip to Zion. read more

Fantastic hotel located in a prime spot in town and near the park. Kudos to the management of this hotel for a beautifully maintained breakfast area, and common area. We stayed here for one night in the beginning of our trip and returned at the end for a second night. Both rooms were very clean, welcoming, quiet, and well maintained. Coffee, Tea, and hot chocolate were always available in the lobby and the view is incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. NOT PET FRIENDLY We booked this place specifically so we could have somewhere it would be ok to have our dog. We even called a week ahead to ask "we are bringing our dog, what do we need to know?" - answer: "it's $25 extra a night." No further story or policy given. Ok, well, let's go. Well, you also can't leave the dog unattended ever. So what good is it to have the dog here? If I go pick up a snack, we have to bring the dog? If we go pick up food, the dog has to come? This is not pet friendly, don't book here unless you plan to have your pet with you 24/7. read more

This is probably not a stretch to say this, but I'm sure this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, Springhill Suites you'll ever find. And to top it off, it's very close to the entrance of Zion National Park. Checking in was uneventful, and also to a fault. The front desk personnel had zero personality, and yet again, didn't get a greeting like I used to get for being a Marriott Gold. Walk into the room and we are blown away with the modern look. And the super high ceilings. I'm talking 15 maybe 20 foot ceilings. Barn door to the bathroom, and a separate sitting area. Loved this room. The grounds were nice and clean, the breakfast area was a big plus for us so we could get started on our hikes into the park. Standard fare for breakfast. The pool area was actually kinda nice too. I have a 2 year old that had a blast in the foot deep wading pool that leads into the bigger pool for the bigger kids. Shuttle stop was right in front, and there are a bunch of good restaurants within walking distance. Safe to say we'll be staying here again since we already agreed to come back sometime to finish up the Narrows hike. read more

Had the pleasure of staying here during a recent visit to Zion National Park and I would highly recommend. The room and balcony were spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous and attentive. Pool, hot tub, and outdoor area (fire pit, etc.) provided impressive views of surrounding mountains and wild life! The only drawback was the breakfast provided was just ok and lacked variety when staying for more than a few days. read more

This is an awesome place to stay for visiting Zion National Park. It's convenient, clean, and has a great view of the mountains. Rooms are decent-sized as well. There's a shuttle stop right outside the hotel (1 min walk), which will take you to the park's entrance, but it will also take you up and down the main street (Zion Park Blvd). Wonderful breakfast spread, which comes with your room reservation. I would definitely stay here if I visit Zion again. I'm guessing rooms will probably run at least $200 a night if not more( we had a group rate of $219 since I was there for a meeting), but given that it's a small town with only so many hotels to choose from, you can't go wrong with Springhill Suites. read more

On my recent visit to Zion, I stayed at the Springhill Suites. I had a 4 and a 1/2 star experience and I am going with 4 stars for my ranking. First off, this hotel features awesome views. Then again, the entire town has them! Maybe my favorite thing about the Springhill Suites was that there was a super chill outdoor patio with a gas fire pit. After a big day of hiking my daughter and I grabbed a beer at the lobby store and enjoyed one out on the patio with other guests and hikers. This hotel features great rooms that are larger than usual, they were super nice and well decorated. In my room, I noticed a minor plumbing issue where I heard running water in the pipes all night long and for that, I am knocking off a star. Maybe it was just my room and the fact that I was on the first floor. I received excellent service and everyone was super nice and helpful. There was a decent free breakfast which was on par with other Marriott properties where this is offered. In summary, The Springhill Suites at Zion was really good, but not cheap, and get what you pay for in the right way. read more
