We spent 2 nights here as we were exploring Zion. Rooms are updated and very nicely decorated with efficient use of space. As a family of 5 we all fit into a suite with 2 queen beds and a couch with a trundle. The rooms also had a microwave, a mini fridge, and a large walk-in closet for storing luggage out of the way. Breakfast was included (waffles, cereal, eggs, oatmeal, pastries, whole fruit, yogurt, milk, and juice) and they had many places to sit both outdoors and indoors after getting your food from the buffet. While eating breakfast, we had an incredible view of the mountains behind the hotel. There was a large selection of bag tea and coffee available during breakfast and it appeared it was available throughout the day as well. The lobby had a small "store" with snacks, ice cream, sunscreen, etc, available for purchase. There was also a lounge/game room in the lobby which had a pool table, oversized tic tac toe, oversized connect 4, and more small games available for guests to use. For our 3 kids it was their first time playing pool and it was a very fun and enjoyable way to spend some quality time as a family after a long day of hiking. read more

NOT PET FRIENDLY We booked this place specifically so we could have somewhere it would be ok to have our dog. We even called a week ahead to ask "we are bringing our dog, what do we need to know?" - answer: "it's $25 extra a night." No further story or policy given. Ok, well, let's go. Well, you also can't leave the dog unattended ever. So what good is it to have the dog here? If I go pick up a snack, we have to bring the dog? If we go pick up food, the dog has to come? This is not pet friendly, don't book here unless you plan to have your pet with you 24/7. read more

This is probably not a stretch to say this, but I'm sure this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, Springhill Suites you'll ever find. And to top it off, it's very close to the entrance of Zion National Park. Checking in was uneventful, and also to a fault. The front desk personnel had zero personality, and yet again, didn't get a greeting like I used to get for being a Marriott Gold. Walk into the room and we are blown away with the modern look. And the super high ceilings. I'm talking 15 maybe 20 foot ceilings. Barn door to the bathroom, and a separate sitting area. Loved this room. The grounds were nice and clean, the breakfast area was a big plus for us so we could get started on our hikes into the park. Standard fare for breakfast. The pool area was actually kinda nice too. I have a 2 year old that had a blast in the foot deep wading pool that leads into the bigger pool for the bigger kids. Shuttle stop was right in front, and there are a bunch of good restaurants within walking distance. Safe to say we'll be staying here again since we already agreed to come back sometime to finish up the Narrows hike. read more

Fantastic hotel located in a prime spot in town and near the park. Kudos to the management of this hotel for a beautifully maintained breakfast area, and common area. We stayed here for one night in the beginning of our trip and returned at the end for a second night. Both rooms were very clean, welcoming, quiet, and well maintained. Coffee, Tea, and hot chocolate were always available in the lobby and the view is incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would choose no other place when I return to Zion. read more

Had the pleasure of staying here during a recent visit to Zion National Park and I would highly recommend. The room and balcony were spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous and attentive. Pool, hot tub, and outdoor area (fire pit, etc.) provided impressive views of surrounding mountains and wild life! The only drawback was the breakfast provided was just ok and lacked variety when staying for more than a few days. read more

This is an awesome place to stay for visiting Zion National Park. It's convenient, clean, and has a great view of the mountains. Rooms are decent-sized as well. There's a shuttle stop right outside the hotel (1 min walk), which will take you to the park's entrance, but it will also take you up and down the main street (Zion Park Blvd). Wonderful breakfast spread, which comes with your room reservation. I would definitely stay here if I visit Zion again. I'm guessing rooms will probably run at least $200 a night if not more( we had a group rate of $219 since I was there for a meeting), but given that it's a small town with only so many hotels to choose from, you can't go wrong with Springhill Suites. read more

This was the best hotel ever!!! Only there for one night on a road trip but oh my. wish i could've stayed forever! The room was perfect and spacious! The shower was great! The location was beautiful! Great amenities, I will definitely be coming back. Great stay!!!! read more

On my recent visit to Zion, I stayed at the Springhill Suites. I had a 4 and a 1/2 star experience and I am going with 4 stars for my ranking. First off, this hotel features awesome views. Then again, the entire town has them! Maybe my favorite thing about the Springhill Suites was that there was a super chill outdoor patio with a gas fire pit. After a big day of hiking my daughter and I grabbed a beer at the lobby store and enjoyed one out on the patio with other guests and hikers. This hotel features great rooms that are larger than usual, they were super nice and well decorated. In my room, I noticed a minor plumbing issue where I heard running water in the pipes all night long and for that, I am knocking off a star. Maybe it was just my room and the fact that I was on the first floor. I received excellent service and everyone was super nice and helpful. There was a decent free breakfast which was on par with other Marriott properties where this is offered. In summary, The Springhill Suites at Zion was really good, but not cheap, and get what you pay for in the right way. read more

Gorgeous property right along the river. Suites were roomy and comfortable. I'd prefer better blankets and sheets (too thin and cheap), and the pool hours are not early enough; from 12pm to 11pm. I'd prefer from 10am. The blinds were a little tacky and ugly, but practical, I guess. Housekeeping's response time was almost immediate, so a big plus. No covid hotel prices here, but worth it. It is a little far from the Zion park entrance, but I'd definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed the property, and their breakfast to-go bags had enough food to even cover lunch. read more

This place was so beautiful and the view from the patio and breakfast room, stunning. Staff, so very kind and helpful, rooms extremely well appointed and stunning. We had two blissful nights to enjoy this place after some tough hiking! Thankful for a/c, great showers, comfortable beds, all this with spectacular views. Worth the price. read more

Clean nice hotel. Overpriced (captive audience) Nite none of the guests I met in the hallway were wearing masks despite signs on all entrances. I even saw two room cleaners wearing masks on their chins. Patron beware! I'm really upset that all six EV charging spaces were taken by normal cars. I couldn't charge my car. Which is going to make for a very long trip home. There was plenty of street parking(10 extra feet away). I waited up until 1am for someone to come to their car but gave up. The hotel doesn't bother asking for plate numbers so that was my only option. If I blocked a gas pump I would expect to get towed. Right? But somehow this is acceptable. Not to mention the snowflake taking up four spots in the picture for his jet skis. read more

Worst possible choice we have made by staying here and paying prepaid stay. Rooms are dirty, service is nonexistent, when we did ask for cleaning service - all we did get was just a bunch of towels dumped in bathroom. Nothing was cleaned. Moreover, we left the hotel a day early - could not take it any longer - and they refused to issue refund for a day we have not stayed there. And room prices are on par with Waldorf Astoria in Vegas :( Stay away from this place - find better place and God forbid - do not pre- pay anything. I dearly regret it, Never again I sound use Marriott hotels read more

Picturesque surroundings. A little over a mile to walk to entrance to Zion National Park and Watchmen's Trail and Pa'rus trail. We went in June and the buses weren't running. Very friendly front desk. Breakfast was bagged and could be picked up at the front desk. Loved how the room was set up, very efficient. Refrigerator was in the room which was a plus. We stayed in a king one bedroom on the second floor. Pretty much everything around Springdale appeared to have been recently built or newly remodeled. Lots of picture taking opportunities right outside the front door of the hotel. read more

Beautiful and less than six month old modern hotel with a rustic exterior to fit in with the outdoor setting. Sits next to the Virgin River with views of the majestic plateaus above. We were there for a wedding. My only critique is for a popular wedding venue the room had no full length mirrors. It was impossible to check my outfit without standing on an ottoman to look into small wall mirror. Otherwise this place is stellar! Beds comfortable, view nice ( we faced the river) and complimentary breakfast yummy with eggs, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. needed if you plan on hiking thru the canyon. Wonderful job on the wedding set up too! read more

Beautiful hotel, stunning views . The rooms can use a little more lighting, very dark. Also the hotel didn't have any information on local restaurants and attractions but then again they're right next to visitor center. read more

Great location in Springdale. Close to everything. I'm a Marriott guy when I used to travel for work and They delivered everything I would expect from a Marriott property. We were upgraded to a bigger room with a separate TV/living room area with a outside deck. Very nice. Also a walk in closet, small kitchen area with a sink, fridge, microwave and plenty of space to make lunch for the days hike. They had just resumed the breakfast buffet the day before we arrived which was nice. Pool area has lots of sun as well as its own bathrooms. Parking easy, close to the door you you need to enter so you don't have to drag your luggage too far. Overall - can recommend if you are coming to visit Zion. read more

Its absolutely beautiful however the walls are thin..VERY THIN!! We are not sensitive to sound and you can hear every toilet flush with surrounding rooms, above and below; every step/walking by, and every door that opens and shuts. read more

The scenery of the hotel is unreal. Full panoramic views of gorgeous cliffs. There is a nice flowing creek behind the hotel. The landscape looks like the grass is maintained by hand with scissors. Everything in place. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The room set up is ideal. The beds are the the major downside as they are not all that comfy. The decor is updated and slick. There are two great restaurants (dinner and lunch) located in a 3 minute walk. Jack's is an informal burgers, grilled cheese thing and Switchback a higher end steak place. If you are unsure because of the higher price, that is true but the setting and peace of mind of a quality stay well worth it. read more

Wow, what an amazing stay! We booked two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The bedroom was modern, clean, and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the hours are perfect so it's not so crowded. They also put out fresh, warm cookies in the afternoon. Staff was friendly (they are a little short staffed so it can take awhile to get extra towels or toiletries but everyone was very helpful). The pool was clean and the sights were beautiful. There's shuttle right outside that takes you to Zion park. There are also restaurants and a grocery store walking distance. Even after we checked out, they allowed us to store our luggage in the lobby and leave our car parked so we could squeeze in one more hike. Will definitely stay here again! read more

I'm a fan!!! It's very close to the Zion national park entrance. The lobby was warm and welcoming with a killer view of the Zion cliffs. Take your date here and they will definitely be impressed. There's a hot tub, pool, 24 hour gym, free parking, fire pit, mini market (with alcoholic beverages) and there's even a pool table and Jenga game for guest to use. This Marriott has everything you need...except a restaurant, which doesn't matter since they're surrounded by amazing restaurants. They do offer a complimentary breakfast buffet from 6am-10am, which I recommend everyone take advantage of because it's not only surprisingly good, but you'll get to enjoy the view. Also, you got to have a waffle. The suites are newly renovated with West Elm furniture and decor. Once you enter, you never want to leave. They offer items I've never seen in hotels, like makeup removal towelettes or a tv that allows you to sign into your Netflix account for free, and super high ceilings. This place is better than home! I'd recommend creating a Marriott account online and booking directly thru their site. It was a few dollars cheaper than going through third party sites. read more

I'll give it a 4 as it's a nice, clean lodge. Being a Marriott member help with this choice and it's not far from Park entrance. read more

The grounds are nice with a lovely small trail. There are great views including from the breakfast seating area. Can watch the sunrise over a spectacular rock face. Breakfast was really good. There are several options (both hot and cold). There is a shuttle stop nearby to take to Zion National Park or around the town. The shuttle is free. The only negative was the couch was really weird and uncomfortable to sit on. The depth was the size of almost two couches. As a breastfeeding momma there was really no comfortable place to sit. read more

Really appreciated our stay here. Jodie the manager was incredibly helpful, kind and has great sense of humor. She helped us to get our accommodations adjusted as well as get set up with the e-bike process with Greater Zion E-Bikes which is located just next door. The staff were also very friendly (I overheard them as well getting stuff together to celebrate a co-workers birthday). It's nice to know staff like each other. Breakfast was also decent, would recommend one warm veggie morning option if possible. They had a waffle maker, cereal, eggs, yogurt, pastries and also a large coffee station open 24/7 which we all enjoyed every day. View was also incredible. Would love to come back again. read more

Doesn't matter what kind of room you reserve they will give you whats available once you arrive. We made a reservation a month in advance knowing it was a long weekend. We needed a king size bed because it was the safest place for our 2 year old to sleep. We get to the hotel to check in and they say sorry we over booked king rooms by 5 rooms. Whats the point of having a reservation if you ( the hotel) won't stand by it. Our room for 3 nights was almost $1000 and yet we didn't get what we paid for. Just keep in mind if you want a certain type of room don't plan on getting it. Managers are no help either read more

You will find many hotels just outside Zion National Park, but the Springhill suites is a huge step up. This hotel has very large suites with a comfortable sitting area that includes a couch as well as a desk and chair. The room has many outlets and USB plugs for your devices. The bathroom area is very spacious with an awesome walk in shower. Speaking of walk-in, our room also had a large walk-in closet. The king bed was very comfortable, and the sheets and the pillow selection was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of choices just outside the park, but don't pass on the Springhill suites. read more

We have stayed in way too many hotel rooms lately but this is the best hotel that we have stayed in. It is very modern and comfortable to bad they feel it necessary to shove their religious beliefs down on us heathens. From the front desk clerk looking down her nose when we ask her where we purchase a bottle of wine to placing the Book of Mormon out on the bed when there is not a Holy Bible, a Koran or even a copy of the Mahabharata anywhere to be found. I was slightly annoyed when the fire alarm went off and I did not get a very good night's sleep because every slightest sound woke me up. The hot tub was amazing. If there is not anybody else in the tub I highly recommend that you lay back and float on the far end by the chair lift, just let the current take you on journey of pure relaxation and if you are there in the cold evenings, open your eyes and watch for the steam vortexes. They are pretty cool; however the managers come out 15 minutes before closing and creepily lurk in the shadows until 10 p.m. read more

Out of hotels servicing Zion, this is by far my fav. Highly recommended. 1 Great location - esp if you have a room facing the beautiful rocks. 2 Friendly staff. 3 Clean & safe - observe social distancing + masks. 4 Easy grab n go breakfast that is good + wide selection. read more

I parked right in front and called the front desk asking if there was a room available for 1night the guy said yes .... so I grabbed my backpack and went in ....and I kid you not maybe at most 1 minute later I see him playing on his phone and he tells me oh sorry we're all booked ... I was like I just talked to you 45 seconds ago I was right out front ... he was like I just booked a room ....hard to believe he did that ... I went in for nothing read more

Beautiful setting. Newer facility with well appointed rooms. I'm not a real fan of the lighting system in the room but it was manageable. I just prefer more light. Great pool again with amazing scenery. With the Covid 19 pandemic they seemed to be doing a lot for safety and still treating clients well. The hot breakfast was replaced with a bagged meal which included a microwavable breakfast sandwich. Not as good as the regular breakfast but certainly adequate. Also they did a great job of letting us know if we wanted to get into Zion NP that we had to be there very early to avoid closure because their parking lots were full. Otherwise we probably wouldn't have got in I would definitely stay here again. read more

Springdale is in a narrow valley just outside Zion National Park. The hotel has spectacular views of both sides of the mountain cliffs. It's a spanking new hotel with great facilities. Pool, fountain, pool table, lobby, etc. Parking is easy. Guest room is very spacious. Bed is comfortable. Each bed has a reading light on the headboard, which is quite cute. The window A/C unit is quiet when compared to other hotels of the same grade. There is a big house just a minute walk across the hotel grounds. It has two restaurants. One called Switchback Grille, which is high-end, and probably the best restaurant in Springdale, and another cheaper sports bar restaurant. Hotel provides standard Marriott breakfast that is the same as in a Residence Inn. Now the shortcomings: the layout of a room is a bit strange. The bathroom door opens to the beds. So there is no place for a TV in front of the beds. Instead the TV is put at the side. See my pictures. I don't know why it is done this way. The room is so spacious that a bathroom can be easily re-arranged to make space for a TV on a wall in front of the beds. Maybe the hotel wants to discourage guests spending time indoors since there is so much to do outdoors. Other than this layout issue the hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Zion National Park. read more

Requested for early checkin so we can visit Zion National Park but front desk said room wasn't available yet. Strange since there were 3 other guests after me who were able to checkin. Asked again why 3 other guests were able to checkin and excuse given this time is that since I requested a pack and play, our room, already assigned cannot be changed. Even more disappointing later when we checked in around 7pm, we were given a room AT THE OTHER END OF THE HOTEL and there was NO PACK AND PLAY. So, had to call the front desk and got the pack and play close to 8pm. Front desk mentioned that they only had 1 hotel staff responding to all the guests' requests. Wow - what lousy customer service!! And, no bell hop on top of that. This is the worst Marriott!! read more

It's not a five star hotel, or really even a four in terms of resort hotels with stars, but it's a good home base in Springdale for adventures in Zion. Probably the nicest place in town. New hotel with multiple buildings. Walking distance to some great restaurants and some crummy ones (Yelp those!). There are a couple of little markets nearby including one in the hotel reception area and a small liquor store across the parking lot in the Holiday Inn Express's restaurant building. On the shuttle route when it's running. Otherwise it's a long walk to the park entrance. Easy drive though! Decent free breakfast. Lovely pool area (hot tub was open, pool closed because it's December). Rooms are typical Springhill suites. Fridge, microwave, comfy furniture. Only beef was that the water tasted terrible. Tap water elsewhere in town is fine. It's good water. This tasted like it came out of a hot garden hose. Disgusting. Must be using cheap pipes. Charged my husband and I $907.82 for a nonview room.. my husband travels for business and his company stays at the Marriotts. This hotel takes advantage of the public that stay there; no extra amenities.. if you are on vacation, traveling for business; find another hotel to stay at, don't let this hotel take 'price gouge'. Stayed here for a night and had great experience! The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The room is really clean and looks quite new. The curtain in the room is thick enough that it blocks most of the sunlight in the morning, which helped to get a good night's sleep. I personally like the decoration style of this hotel a lot. The view from the breakfast area is incredible, having the gorgeous mountain as the backdrop.
