I used this shop for everything for 5 vehicles since 2007 or so up until about a year ago. This shop was sold in July 2024. Since then, most of the staff has turned over and the excellent master mechanic left last year. The facility has been remodeled recently and has been cleaned up really nice. They also performed the oil change quickly. Unfortunately, I was told a lot of things on my vehicle (in for a oil change) were dangerous had to be repaired asap. I knew these things were fine (brakes, battery, etc) and was disappointed that they lied and tried to pressure me to have them perform repairs that I know I don't need. They also made a mess under the hood and failed to check other fluids or do the courtesy cleanings they used to do on the windows and front carpet.

I always get cars checked by a mechanic before I buy, and it's a good thing, too: Oscar here got it up on the hoist and immediately identified frame damage and a nasty transmission leak that I couldn't see without getting up under the car. It was pretty clear there was an accident that hadn't been reported on the Carfax and that the dealership hadn't bothered to disclose because they were hoping to unload it on someone. Oscar was angry on our behalf about it, too, and he even gave us a discount on their usual assessment fee for a new car because, as he said, "you took a loss on the car before we even bought it!" I'm so glad I came to these folks before we made a pretty nasty mistake. Crappy day, but these guys saved our bacon and made things a lot better for us.

With absolute sincerity, Justin and his team were very professional and diligent with solving my…read morecars problem. My 2009 Kia Optima would stall in the middle of driving or when attempting to drive for the day. The lights would flash, dashboard would light up but the car never turned over. Finally after multiple mechanics, I decided to take it to Parra for a full diagnosis. Justin had a few hunches what may have been the issue but they did not resolve the problem. It became difficult to troubleshoot since the car had to be inoperable when I brought it to him. Unfortunately the car would eventually start without a resolution. So Justin stuck it out with me and tried one last ditch effort. My car had a key fob but it broke years ago and was never replaced. Justin recommended buying a new key fob since the issue imitated an alarm being activated. While this seemed far fetched, it ended up being the resolution. This incident occurred three months ago and I haven't had an issue since. The car would stall once a week, run for three weeks and stall again. They did an excellent job and were very knowledgeable with suggestions to maintain the car with other potential services. No pressure. Did what I asked and explained care instructions on how to make the car last in top performance. It was good to have someone repair the car and not feel like they were trying to nickel and dime you. The receptionist/office manager was also very accommodating. Note: They have a humble setting and atmosphere but I would rather be with professionals who know their job than be in a high-profile place of incompetent workers.
