She gives a great foot massage and keeps the convo flowing with great laughs. . Overall I came with a friend, she got her manicure and it was bussing. The nails were done on point with a great color. The nail tech kept getting quite frustrated because my hands were not relaxed enough, but wasn't exactly telling me the problem until I caught on(this is my first manicure so I didn't know!). I have a cut on each of my middle fingers from filing and my cuticles were not cut, there are also some air bubbles in the polish. I don't think these specific nails were worth the price but I do love them! Overall everything is very cleanly and it's a very nice place. Will most likely be going back for a pedicure.

I'm so glad I found Blush Nail & Beauty Bar! First of all, this place is BEAUTIFUL. The salon is spacious, bright, clean and relaxing, and the pedicure chairs are gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. The music was also SO GOOD! They were playing what sounded like 2000s R&B, and it honestly added so much to the whole relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated that they had a good selection of regular nail polish. I don't get gel, and not once did anyone question my choice or try to pressure me into upgrading to gel. That alone was refreshing. The original color I picked was very sheer, and I asked if they could put white underneath it. They explained that doing that could make it look streaky and recommended choosing another color instead. I didn't end up with the exact color I originally wanted, but I appreciated them explaining why rather than doing something they didn't think would turn out well. I still really like the soft color I ended up with. I chose their least expensive manicure and pedicure package, and I was honestly surprised by how much was included. The pedicure was wonderful -- probably the best foot massage I've ever had. It was so relaxing I was practically falling asleep! It even included paraffin wax. My manicure technician was wonderful too. She gave a great massage and was very gentle and patient with my cuticles. I can get nervous when my cuticles are pushed back and trimmed, and I felt completely comfortable here. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, patient and welcoming. They also offer complimentary mimosas, wine and beer. I chose an ice water, and even that was delicious and refreshing. Overall, this was such a nice unexpected find during our Sacramento day. I scheduled a visit a few days in advance for three people and four services and paid an $80 deposit ($20 per service) via Venmo. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. How was your experience with the water temperature? Did you have a better experience with a different technician? I'd genuinely be curious to know!

I just came back today and got a fill - specifically requested for no polish because I have my family member doing it for my wedding reception this weekend. Somehow the fill was still $50 when I used to get full sets with designs starting at $50. When I asked for clarification I just got told "yeah that's right." I also got a pedicure but I wasn't asked what type, just assumed it was the basic one. Yes it was very nice she did great, I also got french tips. But found out that was $62 and again when asking just got told "yeah that's right." Just a bit frustrating when it doesn't seem like the service was extra or "luxury" per se. Yes I understand it's been awhile as well and inflation is a very real thing. I was excited to come back and Andy was sweet and did a great job. I just can't understand the pricing when at other places it's $40 for a pedicure and $35/40 for fills for the same services. There's no pricing online so maybe that's my fault for not asking ahead of time. Definitely feels like a bit of a rip off and I don't think I'll be back anymore unfortunately.
