I went when the students were on break, so it was pretty empty inside earlier in the morning. I can't imagine how busy it is when school is in session. I easily got one of three garage spots for Ziggi customers - with a one hour max time. Apparently they aren't strict on the one hour but if the coffee shop is busy I feel it's pretty on the nose with one hour. I got the decaf Colorado mocha with oat milk. It was quite sweet, with chocolate, almond, and coconut. Typically it's chocolate milk but they put in syrup instead when I subbed oat milk. Nonetheless I enjoyed it! Only a few tables had outlets. Chairs aren't the comfiest but I stayed for a few hours. Nice employees! read more

Decided to try a new-to-me coffee shop while in Tempe. Not familiar with the area, parking was a bit challenging for me. I found a parking spot at a nearby shopping center. However I think the parking was reserved for patrons of the businesses in the shopping center. I risked it knowing I would only be in and out and fortunately, I didn't receive a citation. The space is cool. I love all the glass windows, which allows lots of natural light in. I can see myself hanging out here if I was within walking distance. The menu offers a variety of drink options from coffee and tea to Italian sodas and smoothies. They offer all day breakfast items such as sandwiches, oatmeal, and burrito and a handful of pastry items. I only wanted coffee, so I ordered my go-to, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon. Since it was a hot day, I ordered it iced. The drink had a good ratio of honey and cinnamon. It was satisfying. Service was fast and friendly. As part of the grand opening, Ziggi's was offering a free 16oz beverage. Free coffee on a Saturday morning? Yes please! Ziggi's is located on Apache Blvd and Terrace Rd nearby Press Coffee and Kuka Sushi and across the street from Mango Rabbit and Filiberto's. There is no drive-thru. The location is ideal if you live in any neighboring apartment complexes, otherwise parking is an issue. We didn't notice a parking lot for Ziggi's and ended up parking in a neighborhood (oops). Although Ziggi's is quite close to us, parking definitely does present as a barrier. As busy as it was, we had our drinks within 5 minutes of ordering! There was plenty of staff working the event in their Ziggi's shirt, all smiling and friendly. We sampled the zucchini bread and strawberry streusel and collected a few stickers. I ordered the Gold Rush, an iced cold brew with half and half and caramel. I opted to swap the half and half with oat milk. Other dairy free options include soy, coconut, and almond milk. The Gold Rush was DELICIOUS! The caramel added sweetness without being too sweet. I'd definitely order it again! BF enjoyed his cold brew; it was sweet and flavorful. Had my morning Java from this location after Yoga and since today was their "Grand Opening" I received a 16oz for free!!! Who doesn't like "Free" Java! My first impression was PARKING... THERE IS NO place to park if you're in a hurry, unless you park across the street which takes a good 10 min to park and cross over due to the light rail system. It took me a good 20 min before I gave up trying to park in the garage that had like 10 spaces inside(exaggerating), and parked at a nearby park and walked over. It was a nice day for the walk. Upon finally arriving , they have a window outside, where you're able to walk up and order or you may go inside to order and be seated if you prefer. I liked the outside window as it has friendly service and is a quick way to order. Once your order is placed, a guy named "Warren" was there to bring your drink to you, hand delivered, which was nice and prevented a crowded window for pickup. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato which was good. I probably should've paid for extra Caramel though. These coffee franchises are popping up all over now, in fact, I've even considered opening one since they have a great package to buy in on, but then, I changed my mind after thinking about long hours if employees don't show up. This location will never have an employee shortage since it's in College City. I did notice that no one wore mask nor gloves but each is own. No judgement here, but I definitely wore mine. The interior is modern and would be a comfortable place to work or study. The drinks themselves, however, we're not our favorite. The kids drink seemed to be the favorite... the adults were less impressed with our choices. Although they have a few tables outside as well as a cool walk up window! I enjoy the quiet atmosphere and it's perfect if you're studying or meeting with someone! The first time I got the original iced chai which was just okay but, I wouldn't order it again. The next time I got a smoothie and the barista recommended I get the strawberry and mango flavors mixed together which was great!! Albeit fairly sweet. It would be a great drink on a hot Phoenix day! We finally did a bicycle ride to Ziggi's. While they had a lot of delicious looking menu items, we are simple when it comes to coffee and typically get the drip coffee. Both the medium and dark roast were good. We did prefer the medium house blend. We enjoyed talking with the owners, Warren & Rhonda. They are very friendly and care about their customers and staff. They all have this stale sour taste, especially the coffee (cold brew and iced coffee). On top of this, the drinks are super pricey. Not worth it at all.
