What a hidden gem! My sister, who lives in Nebraska, was raving about Scooter's and asked if I've…read moreever heard of it. No. No, I hadn't. So I searched to see how far one was from me and was shocked to see one in Nampa. Hubby and I planned a breakfast coffee run with the bacon & Gouda omelette bites based on my sister's suggestion. This location is tucked away on your way to downtown, but easily accessible with a gloriously large "Scooter's Coffee" sign outside. This is a drive-thru location only. We received a very friendly welcome, easily placed our order and then asked to "scoot around" (lol) to the window. Our server was exceptionally sweet and our food and drinks were immediately ready. The omelette bites were warm and delectably plump, with a nice mix of the salty bacon and savory Gouda. We both really enjoyed the flavor and texture. My iced Galaxy latte (mocha, caramel, vanilla espresso mixed with milk) was more savory than sweet, which I was kind of shocked by...but it wasn't bitter and very smooth. Nice ratio of ice to drink which was appreciated. Definitely download the app before you go...they have a nice welcome gift! We can't wait to go again.

Food never disappoints. Dining in or to go, always perfect. We often do to go order for Shakespeare Festival. Easy call in early afternoon, order for family, pick up on the way. I haven't been into this location for about a year until recently and I was very disappointed. The…read moreentire shop is dirty. I mean like really dirty. The bathroom was disgusting from the toilets having poop, mold and pee all over. Even the bathroom had built up gunk and was gross. Floor through out the entire lobby, bathroom and as far as I could see in the work space looked like they hadn't been thoroughly swept or mopped in weeks. One of the fridges I could see even had a mess seeping out of the door. I would have taken pictures had I not left my phone in the car. One poor staff member was the only one working and though she had a lot of customers come in at once, she was moving slow with no urgency or excitement to do her job. You could tell she had no desire to be making our smoothies. OR clean anything for that matter. Despite my better judgement, My son and I each got a smoothie and they were okay. Not the same great quality that used to bring me in regularly years ago. With that said, I simply won't go back as the lack of cleanliness & utter laziness was extremely off putting. I'm disappointed.

Checking out local coffee joints is always fun for me so I stopped in today for my afternoon caffeinated beverage. The coffee shop is smaller, more intimate. I love the setting of this place. It looks like a log cabin. There's a few tables to sit at, comfy chairs to chill and enjoy your drink. All it's missing a fireplace. I could sit in front of the fireplace, sipping on my coffee for hours. The most perfect way to enjoy your coffee. There was only one barista working and she was hustling! There was a couple drinks that she was making for guests ahead of me. There was also a gentleman waiting to order and someone was also in the drive thru. I didn't mind waiting, it gave me some time to look over the drink menu and goodies that were available. I appreciate that they have a fun Valentines menu out. They also have quite a few speciality drinks. It's fun to step outside of your normal drink once in a while so I grabbed the Lucky Moose today. Since they have a great variety of sugar free syrups, I was able to get my drink sugar free. The Lucky Moose is a vanilla, caramel and Irish cream breve. I was kinda nervous having all these different flavors in one drink but it was worth a shot! My drink was tasty! The flavors all together are a little different but good. I am happy that I got to try it but it's probably something I won't get again. Maybe I'll do one less flavor next time. The breve was creamy. The flavors were noticeable. The espresso was bitter but balanced. It was a great iced breve. This place would be fun to chill at when the weather is nicer. There's tables and chairs outside with a nice awning. Grab a slice of pizza next door and then grab a goody to snack on as a dessert with an iced coffee. Talk about a good afternoon! I look forward to coming back and grabbing another drink from this joint. Everything about today's visit was great.
