    February drink special
    Monique W.

Came here for the 1st time today. Jason, one of the owners was at the front and was super helpful. He answered any and all questions that my friend and I asked. I personally had a meal replacement shake. One of their love specials and a fat burning shot which was really good. Their products are Herbalife. I just think that all protein has a flavor and that is all I can taste. So, while the shake had a great description, it still tasted like the protein. It is what it is. I would like to go again and try out their teas. All super low calorie. So that is great. I had the shake at 11am. It's now almost 2 and I'm not HAVING to eat. I'd probably be ok to not eat for another hour or so.

Best drinks and shakes ever!!! The owners are awesome and like my second family they are always there for a healthy life style but also as a friend!!

The best drinks and the sweetest owners!! Loooove their holiday specials they come up with.

When you walk in the door, whether its your first time or you are a returning guest, you always receive a bubbly, sincere welcome with smiles. I have struggled with nutrition for over 1/2 my life. So when I heard about Fuel Up , I only had a vague idea of what they served. After 2 1/2 years of being a customer, I have gained so much knowledge about how to truly fuel one's body, everything from Micro & Macro Nutrients to how to tailor one's intake of many different things like protein, vitamins, etc in order to see and feel results. I cannot express enough, how much simply walking in that door has positively impacted my life. I have learned so much about myself as well. Fuel Up Nutrition is not just a smoothie shop. It is an encouraging, uplifting , positive community of folks just like you. Please make the choice to take a chance on this place to make a change for yourself!

Super cute interior.. very clean and welcoming. Quite a few drink options and optional add ins (protein, collagen, etc.). Healthy drinks that taste really refreshing, I ordered the Sawtooth, and it was the perfect drink for a hot day. Jessica was really friendly and super helpful when I was looking to choose a drink. You can tell she loves what she does and is really passionate about helping others with their nutritional goals.

    Amazing place!

Where to begin, where to begin! Ha! Ok, so literally a year to the date (a few days ago lol) I joined a gym for the first time in my entire life. Kinda sad, right? Prior to that, I was hiking every day. I still hike on a regular basis, but go to the gym 4 days a week. Recently I started thinking that I should probably add protein shakes to my diet. Shortly after that, I discovered, Fuel Up Nutrition...located in the same plaza as my gym. I began going in there and I have not regretted it once! I've taken protein shakes in the past and have never been a big fan of them. It took awhile for me to acquire a taste for them and even then, I was like...mehhh . Fuel Up uses Herbalife protein powder and I absolutely LOVE. THEM! They make the best shakes at Fuel Up. If you workout on a regular basis and want a great and HEALTHY nutrition spot to stop at before or after your workout...I highly recommend this place. Everything about this spot is fantastic. The place itself is designed and decorated perfectly..it's very welcoming and actually, kinda homey haha. They have the usual benches, tables and chairs, but also have a couple couches/love-seats to sit in. I have some photos on my profile of the spot. Check them out. Jessica is the owner. You wanna talk about a more welcoming human?? My God! She's incredible! Not only is she one of the kindest people I've ever met, she's very engaging with her customers. She's extremely knowledgeable on her product and she helps you decide on what is best for you and what would go good with your diet/lifestyle. She can always help with suggestions too in other areas. She truly is a remarkable human being and I am so happy I decided to go into this place.. It costs about $8 for a shake. You can add probiotics or Liftoff tabs etc to your drinks. You also get a choice of cold or hot tea. I get the raspberry tea and I add a pomegranate Liftoff to it. It's amazing. They aren't Dixie cup sized drinks either, haha! You're getting a great deal for what you pay. You'll love it. And again, super tasty! I've always been soooo picky with protein shakes and yeah, super stoked this place is here and literally right next to my gym So, next time you're in the market for a great juice bar/nutrition bar and you're in your car and you see...Tree City....KEEP. DRIVING! and head over to Fuel Up. I promise you won't be disappointed. Hope this helps any of you out there looking for a place like this. They use the best products in their drinks, real fruit...no added unnecessary and unhealthy sugars. It's great stuff. Enjoy!

So tasty. Can't wait to try more flavors

This place is a real happy place. For both my mind and my body. First time here, excited to come back and try more flavors.

This is a great food choice, I start my morning with a coffee protein shake + probiotics, aloe shot and tea with an energy/fat burning booster. Don't forget to grab one for your co-worker!

What really stood out to me is that they greet you like they are truly happy to see you. Even on my first visit they made me feel welcome, and now every time I walk in they greet me like a familiar face and make me feel right at home. That kind of consistency and warmth is rare and says a lot about the people who work there. The space itself is fantastic. It is always spotless, the ambiance is relaxed, the music is great, and there are so many comfortable places to sit depending on your mood. Sometimes I relax on the couches, other times I grab a table or sit near the window and enjoy the view. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, which is perfect on sunny Boise days and makes it a great place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. It is one of those places where you can easily spend time working, meeting someone, or just enjoying a great cup of coffee. They also have great food, which makes it even better whether you are stopping in for a quick bite or staying a while. Everything I have tried has been fresh and really good. You can also tell that management cares about both their employees and their customers. When a place is run well it shows through the staff, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, and District Coffee absolutely delivers. I am new to Boise and this is one of the first places I recommend when someone asks where to get great coffee or find a comfortable place to spend some time. I have also had great experiences at their other locations. Boise is lucky to have them.

Two enterprising young women are owners of this gem of a popular West Bench neighborhood gathering…read morespot that they created in what was an old dump of a 1950's era strip mall space and funded in part with crowd sourcing. Being curious since they opened this in Fall'ish 2024 and finding myself in the neighborhood, this was a destination stop for my husband and me when we went in about 11:30 on a weekday for coffee and a nosh. Pride of ownership shines in the clean and funky feeling interior and it is clearly popular because it was full, almost every seat, of people that seemed from the neighborhood, including a number of parents with young children. They advertise this as coffee and market, but I honestly didn't notice the market part, in that things for sale didn't jump out at me. That may have been because I was just trying to navigate to a seat in and out in the crowded space. THE MO: Coffee and the limited menu for food is ordered at the counter, carry to your seat and bus your own when finished. Although we were the only people at the counter and there were two people in the kitchen, it took quite some time for someone to come to take the order, although once someone finally saw us, they were pleasant, if not welcoming, in taking the coffee order and then again when my hubby went back to order pastries to go with it. MENU: Coffee, other beverages and a very small option of eats is listed behind the counter and on a paper menu there. Options included soup of the day and Gaston's bakery pastries. There were some breakfast sandwiches by local provider Poppyseed Bakery in the fridge section, we weren't told about them but seeing them when passing by the fridge on a trip to the loo, asked if they could be heated and were told they could be. We chose a couple of pastries ($5.50 each) and were reminded why we seldom buy Gaston's products for being too buttery and one note. The cortado ($4) were good. I noticed a woman at the table across from us who was sipping a beverage and eating what looked like a sandwich she had carried in. I don't know if that is part of allowable stuff or not. The pottery used for all of their coffee service, ours and the mugs at other tables, is great. AMBIANCE: They did an admirable job here of making this light and bright and just funky enough with pride of ownership and loving care in maintenance sparkling through. Seating includes a few level in, not step up, booths along one wall, a sofa and chairs near the front and many standard height tables and chairs (maybe too many when all full as getting to seat is tough) and a play area for kids in the corner. It had far less comfortable 'breathing room' space than I anticipated from photos. But I didn't take interior photos to post because I think it is rude to do that when lots of people are going to be in them who maybe don't want to be. ;-) LOO: There are two and both are uni and sparkling clean with great murals on the wall and good plumbing fixtures. My husband even pointed out the "cool" sink. Both are ADA compliant so kudos to them for that. (Yes, it is law and code but you'd be astounded by how many ignore both.) ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking spot right outside the door. (There are too few spots for the parking lot but that is not the coffee shop owners' failure. That is the lot owner's issue.) Level in the door. All on one floor. The tables would probably work for a wheelchair user to roll under. But it would be near impossible, based on my experience yesterday (I have had multiple sclerosis since age 20 and sometimes use a wheelchair) for a wheelchair user to get between tables and chairs for a clear path of travel to get to seating or the loo.

Since it is good in other ways, I have revisited many times and tried many different drinks just to be certain, or try to find one that is worth drinking. They are all bad, and it is the coffee itself, it tastes like the beans are rancid, or the machine never gets cleaned, or the water is awful. Something beyond just bad technique or a bad brand of beans, they use Caffeina beans and I've been to Caffeina and had the same beans and they weren't bad. I've had several coworkers unprovoked mention that the coffee here is awful also, I really wish they could get it together. (Side note; I was fed up with the coffee so I tried a green tea one day and they *not joking* gave me a bag of tea in a cup of ice water... WITHOUT BREWING IT OR ANYTHING for like 4$. I couldn't believe it, if lacroix made tea this is what it would taste like, water with a whisper of grass flavor. So bad.) Anyway don't go here unless you want a breakfast burrito.

I'm guilty of that but today I decided to drive the extra 100 yards and hit up Coffee Studio instead. My goal lately is to support more local businesses in our area. It was late afternoon when I stopped in and it was busy! There was only one barista working and she was hustling! There were two cars in the drive thru. 2 gals a head of me and and another guest waiting for his beverage. She was killing it! Quite impressive how she handled all the pressure of customers waiting for their drinks. She got everyone smashed out and asked what I would like to drink. I gave her my usual order, a small iced americano with sugar free white chocolate with room for cream. She was still finishing an order from the drive thru but I told her to take her time. I wasn't in a rush. I hung out and looked at all the merch and goodies while my drink was being made. The shop is small and cute. There's big windows which give the small space so much pretty lighting. Love the fresh plants and the simple decor here. I adore that they reuse the syrup bottles as vases for plants, it adds a fun touch to the space. The shop is very welcoming. I also appreciate the outdoor seating. There are strung up lights outside which would be pretty at night. They close at 4 so enjoying the lights would be hard. But I can imagine a brisk fall day, late afternoon when it gets dark early chillin outside with a big mug in hand. Talk about a great setting. I didn't grab the sweet barista's name. She asked me if I wanted to add my own cream or if she can do it for me. I told her to go for it. I should have done it myself cause I could have used a hair more cream. It was on the bitter side but I added a little more half and half when I got home and it was perfect! You can really taste the espresso, it wasn't watered down which was nice! All balanced in espresso, cream and sweetness. This little joint pushes out some bold drinks. And it was nice to see how many people were at this place the same time I was. The barista killed it and made me a great drink. It was great stopping in for my afternoon caffeinated beverage. I look forward to coming back. Especially in the fall when I can sit outside under the lights sipping on my hot coffee.
