So, when it's time for my rental properties up in Temecula and Murrietta for carpet cleaning, I tried Zerorez too, even it's a different branch. They live up to my expectations. The dispatcher lady is so patient with me when I rescheduled 2 times due to my renter's requests. They did a good job. Got recommended Zerorez but a family member who uses them in San Diego. I can't say I am super impressed. First, you will likely receive very different quotes depending on how you receive them (online, call the local franchise, email) using the same room numbers to calculate. Not sure how this could happen. And when you schedule the appointment with the local franchise, it doesn't seem like they will budge on their quote if it's cheaper from the main company even with an email quote. The local franchise basically said I was misquoted by Zerorez. They also add an alkaline water charge on top of the quote. Why not just incorporate that into the room quote? Seems like they are sneaking it in at the end. The price is substantially higher then any carpet cleaning company I have ever used. But I figured I'd give it a shot. The employee was nice. No real complaints about him. One thing I noticed is that Zerorez does not vacuum prior to cleaning. Every other carpet cleaner I have used vacuums first. Seemed odd. If I knew that I would have vacuumed first. The process was pretty quick. Almost too quick. Other carpet cleaners seemed to spend more time on the cleaning. Despite what the ads say, Zerorez does use pre treatment chemicals on your carpet. I don't know what is mixed in with the water during cleaning. Overall, flooring looks and feels like any other carpet cleaner. Can't say it was worth the extra money. Actually, I almost feel ripped off by the added cost, varying quotes, and pretty standard quality and effort. My advice would be to do your research. I likely won't use Zerorez next time. read more

Sergio arrived right at the beginning of our time window which was the time he said he would. Sergio was very courteous and professional from the start. Pretty darn good job. My son had a really bad bloody nose. Like a pool of blood. I wrote Zerorez and they responded quickly. I was bummed I couldn't get them to come out on a weekend but they worked me into Monday which was great (although I did get charged an emergency fee, being that it was an emergency, I didn't mind, just something to note). Our technician was courteous and friendly. He was professional and was so determined to get the blood stain out. He did a very nice job and I love that the whole process only uses very hot alkaline water. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs so chemical use is out of the question for us. Everything looked amazing while the carpets were wet, like we thought there wasn't a single stain left. But when everything dried, we could see remnants of most of the bad stains. All the little guys and just dirty spots were gone, our carpeted stairs now look INCREDIBLE. They were just dirty from high traffic (we have lots of neighborhood kids that come and play). This has been a terrible experience dealing with this company! The first day they never showed for the appointment. When we called we were told the truck broke down so we had to reschedule. We rescheduled for the next day which was thankfully a Saturday between 12-2pm but never got a phone call. Well they claim they called back on an (844) number but we didn't answer. Now it's 2pm and they sent the driver to a bigger job so we are again unsure about when someone will show up. Called for another eta but since the driver is on a large job he will be delayed. I called around for quotes and Murrieta Carpet Care was reasonable. I really liked the fact that they are a family owned business so I booked an appointment to get my carpets cleaned. I was able to book an appointment easily and on the day requested. The technician showed up in the allotted time, was well groomed and friendly. When he was finished the carpets were clean and stains gone. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that when he was finished- there was water on the tile floor at the bottom of the stairs which I had to get down and hand clean.
