What an experience!! Today was my first time at Sandbox and I had such a great time. We chose the…read moredeadwood valley theme. I was mind blown. I'm not new to VR but the optics were awesome. Without giving too much info away if you choose the deadwood valley theme you will have all type of things coming at you. It was a great shooting game. One thing that could be improved would be the customer service. Once we walked in we did not know what to do or where to go. We had to search around for someone to help us. Also, the staff wasn't great at explaining the instructions. Think he assumed that we knew what to do. However, it was a great experience. Definitely check it out if you are in Tyson's Corner.

What a fun experience overall. We opted for the Unlimited Summer Pass deal for our kiddos and so…read morefar it has been well worth it. So far, we have been here twice already within the week and looking to come back again! The deal also comes with aa free guest pass on every visit! From the sign up process to execution, it has been smooth with only minor hiccups of connection. Nothing that is going to shut down the fun. The games are long and draining for the players, which is perfect, especially for the price you are paying. The employees are all very engaging and helpful throughout the whole process. Parking is available through the lots, garage, and street, with validation opportunities as well. We will be back! Enjoy!

After explaining our genre preferences and experience level to Sarah, she provided guidance on what options we might like and also find appropriately challenging. We ended up choosing "Signal Lost" in the VR Escape Room. Sarah and Tre were extremely thorough and they did a fantastic job ensuring we had a positive experience. We had some small hiccups as beginner users and they stepped in at exactly the right times to keep us on track and make everything go smoothly. They achieved the perfect balance of being attentive to us without being intrusive to the experience. Before visiting Rations, we thought a VR experience may be a one-time activity, but our experience was so positive that we plan to return. Rations unequivocally deserves a 5 star rating.

We did the escape room at Rations Spaceport and had so much fun! Me and my friends all have January birthdays, which generally suck. The escape room was indoors, challenging, and engaging. We had a 13 year old with us who had a blast. It's family owned, and Sarah they build the physical rooms them selves (so creative and well done)....but oh yeah, they also have Virtual Reality escape rooms too (can't wait to try those). I am also excited to try the John Brown room. Would be a great place to take out of town guests. We're definitely going back!
