We have visited our fair share of decorated Halloween house this season and he wanted something more spooky. After looking at the website, which has SO much detailed information, I decided to call to make sure bring my 5yr old was a good idea. We actually got a hold of the owner and she was super helpful/detailed. We decided to check it out. We arrived early-ish... around 8pm and there was not a huge line. My son lost his mind with excitement. The entire staff was ROCK STAR level professional. The actors stayed in character but they made sure to not super scare my kid. It was PERFECTION. We roasted smores, took pictures with the fire dancer and scary monsters walking around. He even walked through the clown experience and left it saying his best friends were the "spooky clown girls" (shout out to them x1000... he begged me to walk back through just to say bye/thank you to them). Yes it was REALLY muddy thanks to the rain, but wear some boots and youll be fine. We will 100000000% be coming back every year thanks to this first GREAT impression.

The hayride just took you 5 minutes to another haunted house trail. This haunted trail was probably the scariest and was pretty fun. The longest trail was probably the least scary. They may need to wait more time between admitting people to that one because we ran right into the people in front of us, which kinda ruined it because the actors were scaring them and not us. The group in front of us was walking really slow so it may not of been at the fault of the staff, which is why i didn't knock a star off. As for wait times, they weren't absurd but definitely started taking awhile as the night went on, but nothing that would prevent me from going. The food and drinks weren't too expensive either. Friendly staff

In 30 years of going to Haunted Houses all over the country this was by far the best my family had…read moreever attended. Two separate haunted houses.... both equally scary and long in duration. It's well worth the value of tix (which are already cheap). Super scary houses, my 11 year old and her friend did them with my wife but we kept my 8-yr old out of them (a little too much for him, we did paintball instead!). They were definitely scared, my wife however said the workers did adjust their level of "scariness" after seeing younger kids as to not completely terrify them. The house has so many different elements and "zones", it isn't a quick walk through. Each room has a scary feature be it a person, or simulation. The last phase of the house is dedicated to clowns, and boy are they dedicated!!! The barn- oh my goodness! That was so fun, and scary! You're chased with a chainsaw, haunted by dolls, and the girl from the ring. Characters stay in character, and provide the right level of fright! Paintball hay ride (zombie).... absolute blast! My 8 yr old and I did this three times!! He had so much fun, we got tons of paintballs, they play music and zombies walk all around open fields, hide in spots etc. This was a great age appropriate event for the younger ones not able to do house or barn event. It wasn't terrifying, but more entertaining. Scary folks running around... they have folks running around w/ chainsaws, penny wise, and other current horror film characters just walking around. Lots of places for pics/selfies for the millennials. Big thanks to Missy (owner) and Maggie. They were super friendly to my family after they discovered how far we drove (specifically for paintball zombie ride). This is a family/friend affair and the staff does in fact make sure they don't "over-scare" little ones. We had a blast and will definitely be back. We drove two hours and spent nearly 3.5 hrs there. We will definitely return!

We were ushered inside and then waited in a queue for about 30 minutes. It was okay and the anticipation was building! The 3D glasses were a nice added bonus. Based on what I had read, I was expecting more moving floors unless that was just the illusion. The strobe lights were pretty intense and the fog room was fantastic. My friends and I really enjoyed the scares that we had and the attractions themselves. Sometimes it was hard to see and follow the path especially in the pitch black rooms. When I walked through the last curtain, I initially thought I had gone out an exit that wasn't the end. We came out on the opposite side of the building from where we started and there were no signs or anything that indicated we were at the end and then had to walk three-quarters of the way around the building to get back to our car. It was very odd that there was no signage. The guy with the chainsaw running after and scaring people at the end was cool, but it was somewhat of a letdown that we then had to walk back around the building. I expected us to leave the haunted house similarly to where we entered, but no. I enjoyed it. I'll likely come back in the future to check it out again. Recommend if you are looking for a good scare and I recommend coming Sunday night as it was a lot less crowded then a Friday or Saturday night.

The walk through the labyrinth of ghosts and ghouls was super exciting and heart-racing, with many moments where they jump out at you, follow you, or scare you with loud noise or creepy voices. Avoid wearing a baseball cap! Mine kept getting caught in stuff like the drapes and other decorations. Definitely worth the price! Highly recommended. Free parking was easy and close.

This haunt is great for a small or couples activity; this year I went as a part of a group of 4. We all got the Fast Pass tickets which I highly recommend you do. This gave us priority access to all of their 4 haunt attractions; there were two lines in particular (the Haunted Hay Ride and the Butchers House) that were VERY long. Without the fast pass folks were easily in those lives for over an hour, maybe more. Get the fast pass -- worth the additional $15 bucks. There are 4 attractions - the haunted hayride, cornmaze, hotel, and butchers shop. The hayride and cornmaze are easily the best two attractions. The hayride takes you through 5-7 stations that are build up into different themes. Each has plenty of scare factor and actors who jump up and harass the guests. Shoutout to the design teams for making awesome props and sets. The cornmaze is my favorite -- they let you wander through the cornmaze searching for the exit while actors are hiding to provide some jump scares. We had a blast and got scared plenty going through the maze. The two indoor build outs, the hotel and butchery were just okay. I think they were sending too many guests in at once; this didn't give the actors enough time to reset into their places for the needed scares. They could have used a few more actors as well - we walked through many rooms and corridors without seeing anyone. The plaza outside of the haunts is really nice. There's a bonfire blazing to give you a nice spot to warmup. There are carnival games and a vendor selling Legends of the Fog gear. In case you get hungry, there's a small stand selling carnival food like hot dogs, hamburgers, and hot cocoa. Overall, a great night out at Legends of the Fog. Lots of laughs and scares throughout the evening. Make sure to get that fastpass!

The corn maze was a little confusing, but it seemed like it was intended to be that way. I went in a bunch of circles, and I had to ask some of the actors where to go. The other two attractions were fun to go through. They have a coffin ride and an electric chair to try out, too. I recommend getting there early since the place does fill up. During busy times, you can wait for a while.

The Midway was fun with a big bonfire, music, and a ton of food vendors. A great way to kill time with your friends. I did the Haunted Trail a few years ago and really enjoyed it! It comes with specific times which I like as you don't have to worry about people ahead slowing you down. I advise buying your tickets early and same with day you're going -- get there early as parking is chaotic.

Cons: It is EXPENSIVE for what you get... the tickets are $$$ and its $5 for a liquid death and beers are $15 (think stadium drink prices for lackluster beer). The wait is LONG... you're time entry does not matter so you are better off getting tickets for as early as possible and then if you show up 90 min early then maybe you'll get in at your assigned time. The scares are not scary. the vibe is but the props to actor scare combo does not vibe well together. Mix that with the limited distance between other groups cause they try to rush you in to make up for their 90 min wait period takes the scare factor out. This is a money grab and not worth the cost or time. When I talked to staff (who were lovely) about the wait they told me I could go enjoy a beer (it was closed) or spend money elsewhere basically. we just wanted to go in during our time slot. This is not worth the money. Try Creepy woods and Bennett's Curse or Field of Screams when they reopen. They are worth the price and they all have good scares. I am very try bummed that this was such a mess of a wait and poor on the scare factor. I will give you a solid A on the props though... but we came for the scares.

I was a bit disappointed. BUT... I think experiences like this are very individual... I LOVE Markoff's: the time and the meticulous artistry that goes into every scene. . I like more subtle scares... Less of the pop out and startle you type of scare. Hallow, Inc. Is more of the latter... Less meticulous with their scenes, although they are new so I gave them three stars for effort. It's a great haunt in the making. Things I really enjoyed: the entrance had a sampling of zombies in cages screaming at us while we walked in to get our tix. Nice touch... Made me excited for more. I liked the premise of the story and the short movie they showed at the entrance. Again... Whet my anticipation. I appreciated all the actors, even outdoors in the sobering strip mall... They did not break character and were very dedicated to the story of it all. My vote: more dedication to the scenery next year.
