The staff was incredibly nice, organized, and patient with everyone. I had the sampler platter and it was delicious -- and they made sure food came out in a timely manner. There's plenty of space, so you don't feel cramped, and parking is easy with garage and street options available. Overall, such a fun night out. I'll definitely be back and would recommend it!

I had not painted for many years and wanted to get creative again. Art is therapeutic. If you are bored of the same old thing, try this! The set up was well organized. They have everything you need there. They even sell hot food and drinks. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and light bites. A lot of the food seemed baked and not fried (if it matters to you). The painting instructor was great. My painting turned out better than I thought it would be. This would be a great experience for groups, team building, birthdays, public and private events, and just as a general social mixer. I did not know anyone there but got to know people sitting at my table. The staff even takes care of the clean up! I went away feeling more motivated to get back into the arts.

We paid just under $100 for an adult and kid. We came during the week (Friday afternoon) and were fortunate enough to have the space to ourselves. That meant we got to paint each other as well as the walls freely. We also got to connect our own music, which made for extra fun. Great bonding experience for sure. An hour seemed like a long time and we didn't use the entire time but we had a blast. They put your paintings in boxes prior to you heading out, so you don't have to worry about messing it up. Logistics: street parking nearby but if you can walk, that's more guaranteed. When you get in, you will get a suit, footies, and goggles. The person working let me know that the suits are resistant but not proof. If you soak them, the paint will come through. You've been warned. There's a coat rack and they'll give you a bag to protect your belongings if you want. There's a ring light in the splatter room. They have two gender-neutral restrooms and they also do neon paint and sips which look fun. I look forward to coming back. Every member of the team here was super nice.

By far, Party on the Avenue is the most inviting and memorable. I have been to POTA twice and both times, have walked away feeling satisfied. A couple of things you should know: 1. The party is upstairs - so if you walk in and no one greets ya... it's because who actually parties on the main floor? 2. The paints provided are legitimate paints. They don't run and it's not the cheap paints you get from these overpriced paint nites. 3. The canvas is flat, which is nice... especially if you want to frame them after you've finished your masterpiece. 4. Amy is so energetic and helpful. She always has a big smile and music playing, so she can dance her way around the paintings. 5. You can bring your own booze. SOLID. 6. These "parties" will last you a solid 3-4 hours, because you're usually relaxing and enjoying your time but you're also painting a more difficult photo usually. 7. The calendar on the POTA site let's you know the "event" days. My favorite, obviously is Paint your Pet night. Amy drafts up a pencil sketch or your pet and you paint it... really is an awesome experience! So who's ready to paint, hon?

This was only because you can not fail a child in art. Lol. I was excited about the paint party with the Loaded Canvas because it was at my friend's house and... we were drawing wine. When I arrived, this mobile business transformed her space wonderfully. Our canvas, easel, paint palettes, brushes, etc. were nicely arranged. We were given aprons and ready to start our masterpiece. Natasha Fray, the owner and artist was effortless in navigating between various levels of skill. Her introduction and directions throughout the experience were clear. I felt at ease because when people had "oops" moments, she never panicked with us. As a matter of fact, she really didn't see mistakes because its art. She had a way of listening to the buy-in of the painter to help the painting reflect their vision. She could fix anything. I loved and stuck with the colors of our painting. However there were others who desired to use colors that matched their home decor. Natasha helped them mix the right colors to get the background they wanted. I was very pleased with my painting. It was Natasha who made it an experience. I highly recommend selecting the Loaded Canvas as your paint party host. *Side Note: This is a black owned business.

It was trippy with the black lights and projections on the wall of various etherial scenes. We all dressed up in the protective suit, googles and boots. The kids were a little small for the suits, but they managed to make it work! Once inside, you can throw paint all over, stomp on the artwork with your feet (a personal favorite of my kids), and twist the painting around to have the colors spread in all directions. We were joined by a staffer the entire time who took a few pictures along with a cute video. I recommend having the staffer snap photos with your own iPhone as mine came out a little better. But I did enjoy the video. At the end of the experience, they pack up the painting in gigantic pizza boxes. The paint is expected to dry in 24-48 hours, though ours took a much longer. I recommend putting the paintings outside on a dry day in the sun to help move that along. Granted ours had a lot of paint on it, but even after 48 hours it was super wet. This is a blast. We booked a reservation online for the splatter room at 3 PM on May 23 and even had to leave a deposit. In the days leading up to our reservation, we received text reminders telling us to arrive at 2:45 PM. When we arrived at 2:45, we were greeted by a Caucasian man who I assumed was the manager. He told us it would be a few minutes because they were waiting for a staff member to arrive. Okay... we placed our belongings in a locker and waited. Once another employee arrived, we were then informed that they were short-staffed and did not actually have availability for our reservation. We were told we would need to wait until someone else came in to assist us because they were understaffed. Huh??? First of all, how is that our problem? We had a confirmed reservation, and NOBODY contacted us beforehand to let us know there was an issue. Honestly, it didn't even seem like anyone knew we had a reservation at all, and the employee helping us looked confused. We ended up leaving and requesting a refund, which was extremely disappointing because my family was really looking forward to this activity. There was no accountability taken, nor did the manager seem at all concerned that no one was available to assist us. He was avoidant and dismissive, leaving the employee to handle the situation instead of trying to accommodate us or offer a solution. Unfortunately, since this was our first impression of this business, it will also be our last. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

When they open the physical space back up, you should quickly reserve a workshop to paint a wood sign. I had my bestie join me on my birthday and had such a great experience, wonderful instructors, quality materials, friendly staff and a beautiful store to craft in. Loved my finished product. I recently saw that they were offering a 1 hour online workshop with a guest speaker/ coach. The topic was about rest not being a luxury. With everything going on today, it was timely and on point. The coach dropped some gems during the first half, we were then able to ask questions via chat. After that, we started painting our signs with live follow the leader step by step instructions. The sign came in a nicely prepared box wrapped in lovely paper and was pre-stained. Also included were pots of paints of your chosen colors, a stencil transfer, paint brush, wooden flowers, small sponges for dabbing the paint on, and two recipes (face mask and a cocktail). The class was well moderated. The owner was streaming live from her home workshop with a really cool backdrop. This was well put together!!! My end product was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Looking forward to more workshops.
