We went to a paint date night for the first time and it was so much fun! Our instructor, Liz was hilarious and made it so fun! My husband doesn't normally do these kinds of things but when we were leaving he said he'd love to do it again. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Had a blast celebrating my birthday with my girls! The studio is BYOB and snacks. Drink and enjoy a night of painting. Even if your artsy side never kicked in-like mine- don't worry. The artists will guide you through it and you will walk out with new decorations for your home or office. They even do a trivia set where you can win prizes and coupons! It's such a great time and they have great paintings to choose from. Pick what's right for you and enjoy!

I had such a great time ! He was very patient and walked us through step by step. I would definitely come again.

When they open the physical space back up, you should quickly reserve a workshop to paint a wood sign. I had my bestie join me on my birthday and had such a great experience, wonderful instructors, quality materials, friendly staff and a beautiful store to craft in. Loved my finished product. I recently saw that they were offering a 1 hour online workshop with a guest speaker/ coach. The topic was about rest not being a luxury. With everything going on today, it was timely and on point. The coach dropped some gems during the first half, we were then able to ask questions via chat. After that, we started painting our signs with live follow the leader step by step instructions. The sign came in a nicely prepared box wrapped in lovely paper and was pre-stained. Also included were pots of paints of your chosen colors, a stencil transfer, paint brush, wooden flowers, small sponges for dabbing the paint on, and two recipes (face mask and a cocktail). The class was well moderated. The owner was streaming live from her home workshop with a really cool backdrop. This was well put together!!! My end product was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Looking forward to more workshops.

Booking the class was pretty easy online and they even offer discounts at check out so don't let the sticker price scare you! The only thing that bothered me was that the paintings don't offer a level of difficulty, I chose a picture for my party who hadn't done a painting before and it was a doozy! The atmosphere was really nice, a tight fit but completely do-able and made it more interactive (juggling a drink, a pallet, and brush!) The instructor was fast and for good reason this picture is hard! He was projective and fun. I wish he has a microphone head set and maybe up higher for us all to see what he was doing better. He moved fast, there was a lot to do in two hours. Overall I enjoyed my experience. Things I wish the instructor reminder us: to paint the edges of our pictures, sign it, and its ok to do things out of he box. He was supportive but had a lot to cover, a rating on the website might help beginners not take a huge jump to try this piece.

Different strokes for different folks..! Pub and Paint is absolutely amazingggg! My friends and I were feeling spontaneous and booked a paint night less than 12 hrs prior. There were available spots on a Monday at The Chesapeake Restaurant so we purchased tickets. The ticket included the canvas, the paint and all the subsequent supplies. This was our very first paint night - ever. I don't speak for others, but I am no Picasso or Van Gogh. Despite my lack of artistic talent, I was pretty excited. We arrived 30 minutes prior to the start time to take advantage of the Happy Hour deals (beer on a Monday, don't judge me!). Food was delicious, beer was even better. Brady, the instructor, was quite friendly and helpful. He was very instructive, encouraging and definitely created a fun and comfortable environment. The class was from 7 - 10 pm and time always flies when you're having fun and constantly having your beer refilled! I would definitely recommend Pub and Paint. This was an exceptional experience and I would do this again soon! Experiences like these remind me just how much I love living in Baltimore!

By far, Party on the Avenue is the most inviting and memorable. I have been to POTA twice and both times, have walked away feeling satisfied. A couple of things you should know: 1. The party is upstairs - so if you walk in and no one greets ya... it's because who actually parties on the main floor? 2. The paints provided are legitimate paints. They don't run and it's not the cheap paints you get from these overpriced paint nites. 3. The canvas is flat, which is nice... especially if you want to frame them after you've finished your masterpiece. 4. Amy is so energetic and helpful. She always has a big smile and music playing, so she can dance her way around the paintings. 5. You can bring your own booze. SOLID. 6. These "parties" will last you a solid 3-4 hours, because you're usually relaxing and enjoying your time but you're also painting a more difficult photo usually. 7. The calendar on the POTA site let's you know the "event" days. My favorite, obviously is Paint your Pet night. Amy drafts up a pencil sketch or your pet and you paint it... really is an awesome experience! So who's ready to paint, hon?

An hour seemed like a long time and we didn't use the entire time but we had a blast. They put your paintings in boxes prior to you heading out, so you don't have to worry about messing it up. To be up front about things Brooke our teacher is also Co-owner, and I think her style and approach bodes well for anyone taking a class from her organization. We were lucky enough to be in a class comprised of only my three family members (one of the benefits of going on Easter ). Judging from the set up they do not overbook their classes like other groups do. And they allow children as young as twelve which the groups who do this in bars and restaurants simply don't. They have a minimum age of twenty one. The instructions were ear and the pace was casual. Brooke was very flexible in working with us, going as far as allowing our daughter to modify the color palette and adjusting her teaching to make sure my daughter got the effect desired. Before we left the next session had been planned so I would have to say we will do it anything. Check out their website they do a large variety of painting and quite a few special events. I called looking for something at least 5 weeks in advance. I called left and message and a day goes by I dont receive a call back. So I call again and again and again, I get the voicemail each time. I decide to send a email. I receive a pretty quick response. The day I would like is booked, bummed out a little but hey Im flexible. I request two other dates one date is booked for my alloted time and the other date had a inquiry but the party had not booked as of yet. Well I let Becca know that I would take the date if the other party did not book. She emailed me back, thanked me for my flexibilty and told me she would get back to me ASAP. well this has been the longest ASAP I have ever endured. I have not heard back from her and I actually took the time to stop into the studio to see if the date had actually booked. I Spoke with the co owner who told me she would take down my information give it to Becca and I should hear from her that evening. I really dislike being kept in limbo its very unprofessional, my time is more important than the money I spend. A simple email back or phone call letting me know I had not been forgotten or the date was booked is all I needed. Anyway I booked with another company, My Birthday "Paint nite Baltimore" will still go on. Ladies if you do happened to read this, I think you have a great concept and I really did enjoy the Elite event, however your follow ups and response to phone calls definitely need some improving.
