This was our first time going to this haunted attraction! We did get a CLIPP deal for two people all attractions for $60, which i thought was a fantastic deal. There was 5 attractions and they were all amazing! We went on the Sunday before Halloween and it was pretty dead which I loved honestly because me and my fiance got to enter all the attractions just us! I am unsure if they do that on a busier night but they did it this night which I really liked. They have three food trucks the food was okay, we got loaded cheese fries for 11.50 from the one truck barley had a bacon on them, but fries themselves were just frozen fries nothing amazing. Just as entertaining as their Halloween event. Last night we did the Winter wonderland trail and was not disappointed. Beautifully decorated and fun Staff characters of the Grinch and Santa entertaining and great photo ops. All staff friendly, entertaining and enjoying their jobs The master of ceremonies Kim herself is a ball of engery and makes everyone feel very welcome. Scariest haunted house in the world, period. Kindest staff members and great security with good food and drink am with snacks. All the houses are built differently and none are the same, very realistic as well. I can't remember a time when I went to a haunted house that actually scared me. Job well done Kim. Worth every penny. My boyfriend and I are avid haunted house goers, and we walk into every new place with an open mind. We consider everything from the houses (set design, props, atmosphere, organization, actors, sound, scents, etc) This place was awesome, very well organized, the houses were long and never short. The trail was my personal favorite even if there isn't an actor scaring you in the scene, you will definitely have a lot to look at and be amazed by! By far the best Halloween attraction around. We brought my daughter for her birthday. It was all very cool and we'll be back for sure. They even have a scary kryptmas weekend in December. The zombie escape room was fun and we made it out alive. Took a ride in a hearse and the driver is the owner. Was awesome being able to talk to her and learn some history. Definitely worth the trip. Had seen this place on haunting sites for years and finally decided to check it out. I was a bit leery at the $50 price tag ($80 if you get the fast pass) which is more than every other place I can recall, but it turned out to be worth it. First of all the place feels huge; the property has a bunch of buildings (you even have to cross the main road for two of the areas) so it feels like being in an entire haunted town which is very cool and immersive. We went on a Sunday night around 8:30pm and there were no lines, so I definitely recommend going then and not paying the extra money for the fast pass thing. The attractions here were some of the best we've been to (we hit 2-3 haunted houses every year) and they were probably the longest we've ever experienced. Even with no lines we spent 1-1.5 hours here just going through the 4 areas. The trail is a long walking trail mostly outside while the rest are inside. All the areas feature a truly MASSIVE amount of props, including lots of cool animatronics and stuff that moves, makes noise, shoots air, etc. and there are tons of jumps scares. The Trail didn't have many actors (which honestly I am fine with as I'd rather take time to look at the props rather than be rushed through by actors), but the other 3 areas had what felt like the right amount of actors and they did a good job. I figured the trail would be the longest and the other 3 areas would be short but nope, they all felt just as long! They make really good use of the indoor space and have you going up and down steps, weaving around, and generally making use of absolutely all the available space. One thing to note is that some of the indoor spaces get reeeally tight. They made sure to space out the groups quite a bit so we never saw anyone else while walking through which was great! That said, I don't know if they would do this when the place has long lines. There are also some things to do in the common area by the ticket booth; we didn't check them out but they had some food and some carnival games I believe. The only negative thing I can say is that none of the areas had a cohesive theme; while each area may have started with a certain theme (ex. the Mill), they basically had every generic haunt type thing you could imagine crammed in (mental hospital, clowns, creepy house, morgue, autopsy, jail, etc.) which didn't really make sense together, but that's a very small gripe. Overall this is an incredibly solid haunt and I would absolutely come back! Highly recommended. read more

First of all I do not like haunted attractions. However I went to the Winter Wonder Trail and it was fantastic. The scary stuff is completely removed so there isn't any thing spooky. Yes you can tell it's usually a haunted attraction but the but that doesn't interfere with the Christmas atmosphere. The display changed throughout. It had a winter scenery area, a gingerbread area, lots of buildings decorated, little Santas, little displays, and lots of lights. Santa was present. The staff (including the owner) were friendly. The admission was only $7. Perfect for the family. read more

The covid 19 precautions were in place. There were sanitizer stations everywhere, spacing in lines, and everyone was masked. We had the RIP skip the line passes that were worth the extra money. The 3 attractions that were open were awesome. The scenes were creative and the layout of everything was eye attractive. Definitely NOT just store bought props thrown up. The actors were very engaging from the time we arrived until the time we left while maintaining their distance this year. Each year we visit gets better and better. Our kids took a ride in the Hearse and it was disinfected after they got back. There were a variety of items in the gift shop, they had a snack shack and a food truck was on site as well. We traveled about 2.5 hours to get there but it was truly worth the time. Check out all the events that this venue offers! Never a disappointment read more

Best haunted houses i've been to, hands down. Got a gift certificate from localflavor, 2 combo passes (access to the four main attractions) for $50, usually $50 each, and $25 a piece is a great price, i really felt that i got my moneys worth. the lines got a bit long as the night went on, two attractions we didn't have to wait for, and two took about a half hour to get into. but my fiancee and i really enjoyed the detail kim put into everything. I loved that a couple of the houses were two floors. the length of each attraction was pretty long, so we were able to enjoy a lot in each one. I'd definitely choose this place over any of the others around central PA. Looking forward to coming to the kryptmas in December. read more

We just love this place! Kim goes over & above any expectations on all attractions. What I most love about this place is the family atmosphere. Julie at the front gate is always open arms and so welcoming. Nikki, the kids, and I have gotten to feel very at home here and it just gets better every year. All of the ghouls (maggot, cookie, tricksy to name the best) go all out, all of the time. They are true pros in costume, and they are all really kind under the mask ta boot. It was really just OK. It was fun because I was with friends, but some of the attractions were a disappointment. The two best by far were The Haunted Mill and the Terror Trail, all the others were meh. They are really the reason this is getting three stars and not lower. It seems like a few of the attractions are plagued by the same issue, not enough monsters. The lack of spooks was really prevalent in the Horror of Mengus Mills and Kim's Krazy Maze. In some areas such as, The Horror of Mengus Mills, there was a real reliance on air canons for cheap scares. At one point during the Horror of Mengus Mills, you get blasted three times with only a few feet apart. Not to mention, some of the monsters just seemed fed up, and gave us a lackluster whine of "get out". Then others didn't jump out at all, as I could see their shoes where they were hiding. Maybe this is why scares seemed sparse in some areas? If I had to pick the worst attraction, it would be Kim's Krazy Maze. We wait in a line for what seems like forever--which isn't their fault. Staff try to space out groups so that they don't run up on each other, and explain the rules for the certain attraction. This I do think is a positive, because dense people need reminded of how they are expected to conduct themselves. So we finally get to be the next one in line, and the ticket taker is in a cool poke dotted suit, sitting in a poke dotted room. She takes our ticket, and goes over the rules, and explains that other attractions have a few clowns, and the maze is FULL of them. Not sure if she ever walked the maze, but seriously, there were maybe six. The one thing that was cool was there is a small maze portion, and you had to feel your way around in the dark--that was fun. But, back to the lady, so as we wait the small talk ensues--which was fine. What isn't fine is when she asks where we work, we tell her, and then she continues to berate us on a 'bad experience' she had while there. First lady, we all came off of a ten+ hour shift, and came here to have fun and relax. Secondly, what gives her the right to treat patrons this way? Even though we were all silent, and obviously uncomfortable, she continued until we entered. We came to Kim's Krypt to have fun and unwind, not get wound up by someone's negative comments. Overall, it was a fun night. Almost all the staff were kind, and not afraid to interact with the guest positively (that obviously doesn't go for the Kim's Krazy Maze ticket taker). Maybe we just hit Kim's Krypt on an off night? If you decide to go, like I said earlier, you will not be disappointed with the Haunted Mill. Especially near the end when you hit the tube (you'll see what I mean). The guy who did that section shirtless and bloody, was the best scare there. Would I come back in the future? Probably. Would I rush to come back? No. read more

This place gave me an amazing customer experience. I was very nervous because it was my first time at a haunted house. I got very scared when I saw the people who were dressed up, I started crying, and ran to my car. The owner and another worker came to my car and calmed me down. They even walked through one of the mazes with me to show me that it is all just fun. This place is amazing and the owner genuinely cares about her customers. I highly recommend going here. read more
