I remember finding this place on instagram a few years ago and was so upset to see they were only in two locations in Cali. Now they're opening everywhere and I am READY. It's barely their grand opening and I've already been here 3 times! And let me just say NOTHING on this menu is going to disappoint. Very aesthetic and fresh drinks. The snacks are so good and personally order the honey bbq chicken. My favorite drink so far that I've tried is the matchata for sure. My ONLY downsides to this place is the location (need W 7th location to open already!!), the price, and the employees seem like they were not prepared for the big rushes, but they were working very hard! Perfect place for my Hot Cheeto addiction! I ordered the Hot Cheetos cheese fries, Elote with Hot Cheetos & a Mangonada. Both the Elote and cheese fries had enough Hot Cheetos in them, thankfully they did not hold back at all. It was my first time having a Mangonada....OMG it was delicious!! Very freshing and full of flavor! The only disappointment is that I ordered too much of everything that I wasn't able to finish it all! I will say, the place is small. Be prepared to wait in line for quite some time... and it does take some time for your order to be ready. But if you LOVE Hot Cheetos like I do, it's totally worth the wait! read more

I must say that I love the establishment. I keep coming back for the Thai Boba Milk Tea, but the reason I choose this place over others is the food they offer along with the drinks. Most other Boba Tea places only serve the drinks and you would have to get food somewhere else. The quality of food is about average if not a little better than average. I frequently order from Zero Degrees and I believe if you visit any restaurant as often as I visit here, then you're bound to experience some discrepancies with your orders. A few notes for the store owner or managers is to make sure each member your staff checks everything off for an order before sending it out. Quality check your rice and fries each time you make a batch. Make sure to give all utensils needed and if you don't then be sure to ask if the person needs any if not all utensils including a straw and napkins. The reason for this review is that I have experienced on multiple occasions that I was not given something I have needed and don't readily have at home or my food quality was subpar. The most notable being the missing straw since I come primarily for the Boba Tea and I don't have straws at home capable of acting as a Boba Tea straw. I have also experienced undercooked rice, as well as over cooked rice and fries. Missing napkins isn't a big deal but the experience is always more enjoyable when I have a couple in my bag and I don't need to grab some from my kitchen when I get home. I tried the spicy watermelon and the garlic noodle with beef. The only conclusion is they are off the hook. The smell, presentation of the disk and the taste are closed to perfect. I was shocked. I highly recommend for their drinks. They do get pack and have to wait a little even in the later afternoon. I fell for yet another hype. I made sure to study the menu online before showing up to make sure I wouldn't stand there forever not knowing what to order. Two of the items I had pre selected were no longer offered. So there I go staring at the menu to see what I wanted. I went for the buffalo wings and Cajun fries. Side note: not everyone that eats there normally eats junk on a daily basis. Some of us reserve junk for special occasions and get offended that we just put that in our bodies when we could've got something that was worth it. I would like to officially apologize to my body. Okay so. The Cajun fries had good flavor. They were the thin fries which I do not personally care for but to each their own. Then, I went for the buffalo wings. I was so confused. I had my husband try them to confirm I had the right flavor. No heat whatsoever!!!! BUFFALO!!! Means heat how hard is that?!!! If fact, they were sweet... what the corn syrup? Just flat out gross! I went to go ask for hot sauce and I was given some Tapatio. I submerged my remaining wings just to make them good. Tapatio wings now were talkin. Sprinkle on Asian chives for that "fusion" and there you go. You're welcome. You can invite me to the taste kitchen. Okay so the only thing I really liked was their ranch dressing. I see these establishments popping up and advertising non stop but they are not there yet. Unless you want a mangonada or something which you can just go to a hood and get one probably cheaper. The drinks have a nice presentation but not enough for me to want to go back. My last point is the place needs someone dedicated to keeping it clean. We had a very bad experience with this restaurant. We ordered and were told 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes and 3 receipt checks later someone finally brings the food out and some of it was actually not hot. The food itself was pretty good - we got the elote corn with the flamin hot and jalapeño Cheeto topping and the popcorn chicken with rice. The rice was perfect but did need some sauce for the top and the rest did taste very good. I wouldn't suggest the lychee drink though as it was very floral and almost soap like in flavor. I've been going there for over three years now, but thought I put in the review today because the service just never improves. There is always a confusion on how to redeem our rewards-so therefore we never get any freebies out of that. So that was pointless. Love their wings. I was so devastated that they removed the Sriracha flavor wings, BUT I FOUND my new usual which is the garlic wings. AMAZING!!! It goes very well with Cajun . This was my first visit at Zero Degrees. The staff was really nice and patient with my friend and me since we didn't know what we wanted. I ordered the garlic butter wings with the hot sauce. It comes with six wings fries and a drink when you use the Yelp Check In. I was able to order the hot Cheetos fries and the mangonada drink for an additional fee opposed to having to buy them separately. The food was bland; you could taste a hint of garlic in the wings, but not enough to make me want to return. However, I will go back for the mango drink. We got Tiger Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, Mangonada, and Thai Milk Tea all were tasteful but every single drink was too sweet. I loveeee sweet but man the drinks were toooo sweet. I wish they had options on how sweet the drinks can be like how fruitalicous and Sharetea has it. Ube shake- this is purple in color and to us it tasted like milk after you eat fruit loops. Strawberry bliss- great and very fresh Definitely enjoyed these! And then, the food! We tried a few items from the menu. Let me just say now that the food is definitely overrated. Being Hispanic I can find Carmen who can make me a bad ass corn in a cup for 3 bucks and be fresh off the cob... we tried the following: Hot Cheeto corn- fun as a novelty snack. But again, a lot of fruterías have been doing this. The corn was kind of stale or had a not so fresh texture. On top was an overwhelming amount of hot Cheeto dust. Hot Cheeto fries- thin fries with a tiny bit of cheese sauce and tons of Cheeto dust. Nothing grand Popcorn chicken- you get a lot of chicken for the price. They use a certain spice that kind of made the taste a little strange. I found this place in the Yelp app! The pictures in the app were everything! I decided before I got on the road to head to Houston, this would be my road meal. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly and inviting. The store was very clean. The images were pleasing. I ordered the combo (salt & pepper popcorn chicken with the peach blossom and cucumber limeade split cup). The split cup was a small upcharge. The chicken was crispy and had a hint of Asian tones. The teas were refreshing and light. The portion size was more than I could handle in one sitting, so it became dinner too. I didn't really care for the fries, while they were hot or cold. Grime built all the way up every single wall, the floors were so sticky, every table was covered in food. I can understand the tables on a busy day, but the black grime built up the wall and windows had obviously been there a very long time. The shakes just tasted like ice with a splash of flavor. They were pretty but no flavor. And the purple I've shake no longer comes with the cute candy and marshmallow . The girls were very polite and quick. But there was 3 of them they weren't busy and the place was just filthy. This is probably one of my favorite snack & boba places at the moment! There's honestly nothing bad to say at all, their drinks & food are all great. They've also added entrees to their menu which is great for either lunch or dinner. The portions are decently large & are shareable for sure. They have a great $10 lunch deal where you can pick one entree + one 24oz drink. It's only during the weekdays though, so if you're near one, definitely take advantage! My personal go to drink is the strawberry bliss or the mangonada. They also have a mango twist that you can add onto your drink for an insta worthy picture! Food wise, I'm in love with their spicy popcorn chicken & the garlic butter shrimp noodles. In my opinion, everything on the menu is worth a try! Cute, fun healthy, fresh drinks, coffees and teas. Loving their horchata! And, you can get a split cup which is pretty cool since it's two drink options in one, like that horchata and a green tea. Yum! My husband likes their watermelon drinks as they add pieces of freshly cut watermelon on top and it's just pretty. The North Arlington location is relatively new still and always busy. I have tried this place on several occasions, and usually try something new every time. The flavors can be a hit or miss depending on what you get, but that's just personal preference. I agree that many of the drinks seem too sweet for me. I'd like if they also included more hot drinks, at least coffee or milk teas. I like their popcorn chicken/nuggets as well. My biggest quip has to be the long wait times and service. There hasn't been a time where I did not wait at least 15 minutes. I have even waited 30 minutes before, and it wasn't that busy at all. I could drive to another boba place on the other side of town and be done with my drink faster than Zero Degrees could give it to me.
