I have been driving for a while. I wanted to use the restroom and then order some food, but their women's restroom was out of order. That wasn't the only problem though the place was very grungy and it smelled bad. I don't believe it's dirty. I believe it needs to be remodeled. The workers were working hard. I had to try this place because I was told that this fast food joint is the place to be when in Texas. Don't read my review if you're a Whataburger fan. I could also be biased because I'm not a "fast food joint" fan either. We visited this place shortly after the end of a Cowboys game so it was fairly busy on the day that I visited. SERVICE: As any fast food joint, service was quick for the amount of people it was servicing during this time. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Unless you're driving thru..... PARKING: There are ample parking space around the joint if you plan to eat inside. FOOD: My brother had the patty melt which I thought was ok... I had the regular bacon cheese burger. I wasn't into their bread and their burger was just fast food burger status.... nothing worth dying for. As for the fries..... they were just plain to me... The people after me in line were just as upset, and it just moved at a glacial pace for the parties behind me. So growing up in Texas everyone in my family always talked about how good Whataburger is. As I kid honestly I liked MCDONALDS better. Then they created the Sweet and Spicy Bacon burger. Yesterday was an extremely busy day and I didn't prioritize planning a meal, so I was looking for a protein style burger. since I'm a huge fan of in n out, my friend recommended this Whataburger, so I decided to try it for the first time. I was very disappointed. The staff got my order all wrong, I asked for a burger style sandwich with beef cheese and bacon and no bun, and I got a tray with a burger patty, some pickles and chopped lettuce. They have about 8-10 employees including a manager and yet they're working as slow as possible. When we arrived they didn't have that many people ordering and yet they messed up four orders while we waited more than 15 mins for our food. App said ready in ten minutes. Got there 15 minutes later and checked in online. Two other online people were already waiting too. After 15 more minutes I went inside.
