Horrible Experience - Avoid This Place!!…read more I went to Relax Spa through a ClassPass booking for a Swedish massage, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had. As soon as I walked in, the masseuse immediately tried to upsell me to a deep tissue massage for an additional $15, insisting that the Swedish massage would be too light and not firm enough. Despite my previous experiences with Swedish massages being both firm and gentle, she continued to pressure me into paying more. She even called her manager to upsell the deep tissue service. Reluctantly, I agreed to proceed with the Swedish massage I had initially booked. The massage room itself was dark, dingy, and unwelcoming. Once the massage started, it was clear that she was merely rubbing my back without any real technique or pressure. When I inquired if this was how the entire massage would be, she confirmed it. Frustrated, I agreed to pay the extra $15 for a deep tissue massage. To make matters worse, the massage was repeatedly interrupted. Her manager barged in at least twice, yelling at her in Chinese, which was extremely unprofessional and unsettling. At one point, the masseuse even left the room because she felt hot, only to return a few minutes later. Despite my specific requests to focus on my feet, ankles, upper back, and shoulders, she spent 60 minutes solely on my back. The final straw came when her manager rudely interrupted us again, accusing me of only booking a 60-minute massage and demanding the session end immediately. Even though the masseuse had initially confirmed a 90-minute session, the manager insisted it was my mistake and refused to complete the massage. We argued for 10 minutes, but she was adamant that the session had to stop, leaving my massage unfinished and my pain points untouched. Despite telling her I was an angry customer she didn't do anything to make me feel better but offered free 15 mins for next time. Unfortunately I will never be returning here and would advise you all to steer away. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience 3 week postpartum, but I left feeling furious, frustrated, and more stressed than before. The customer service was atrocious, and the entire experience was far from professional or relaxing. I strongly advise against visiting Relax spa. They clearly do not prioritize their customers' needs or provide the quality of service they advertise. Save your time, money, and stress & find a more reputable and professional establishment.

With any movement I was in excruciating pain. It was the type of pain you just want to scream and are so helpless. I was so lucky to be squeezed in today (on New Years Eve) by Dr. Su. My experienced with Dr. Su was like no other chiropractic experience I've had before. He intertwines his extensive education with Chinese medicine. I was able to actually move my neck when he was done with me. I trusted him and his techniques involving scraping, needling and cupping. I literally thought I was going to walk in and get the basic adjustment, but he really took it to the next level with his techniques and knowledge on pain. To top it all off, he was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. It's so hard to find any Dr. like Him. He educated me on ways to strengthen my back and posture in kind and informative ways. He didn't just say "go work out". It's been almost 10 hours since my visit and I am already able to move without sharp pains, and feel 10 times better than when I walked in. He's magic! I did not know Kaui Billue when several months ago I booked a 60 minute traditional massage (called…read morea "Thai Euro massage" on Origins Thai Spa's website) with her. I loved the experience so much that I immediately booked the longest session available (90 minutes). I have had two long massages with Kaui, and both have been truly sublime. So much so that I have two future sessions booked now! I will mention a few things about Kaui the person, Kaui the massage therapist, and about the spa. Kaui is an extremely likeable, friendly, and intelligent person who communicates well. An example of how kind and thoughtful Kaui is: after my last massage with her was over, she gave me a box of macadamia nuts covered in chocolate (macadamia nuts are not cheap!) she got on her recent trip to her home state of Hawaii. Kaui really goes the extra mile to please! Kaui's very wonderful qualities as a person would be admirable but they would largely be irrelevant when you want a great massage if Kaui did not deliver on the massage table. I have had massages from multiple people. They all did a fine job. But after my 90 minute massage sessions with Kaui I never felt more relaxed in my life!! Kaui moves over your body at just the right "Goldilocks" speed--not too fast, not to slow--just perfect. Kaui made massage movements I had not experienced before that made me melt into the massage table in sublime relaxed pleasure. Every minute of my massages with Kaui has felt wonderful! When Kaui is working her massage magic on your body she is wise enough to stay silent (except for a very occasional "pressure level OK?" check-in early in the message) so that talk does not distract you from the blissful relaxation you are experiencing under her hands. But if you initiate a conversation Kaui is more than happy to talk. Kaui is wise enough to let you control how long the conversation lasts. A car analogy fits. For me, getting a massage from others has been like driving a Honda Accord--a good experience but nothing really shines. In contrast, getting a massage from Kaui is like the "ultimate driving experience" when driving a top of line BMW. Kaui has provided me with the "ultimate massage experience" (nothing sexual implied; Origins Thai Spa is a totally legitimate place). Origins Thai Spa is exceptional as well. It is in a quiet location in Sterling (not a strip mall or other busy place). The spa is quiet and soothing from the moment step inside. All the receptionists are very friendly. It is very easy to make appointments online. You can have a warm massage table if you want it. After the massage is over, Kaui wipes you down with a warm towel to remove massage oil from your body. Plus a very welcome warm towel for your face at the end that caps off this most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Kaui even immediately gave me one of the spa's robes when my bladder made me step down the hall for a minute during the massage. Kaui, you have a customer for life.
